  1. Yes, South Park thanks Casa Bonita in the credits in that episode. Place also has a website. Great TR, love the pic of the lightning. How did you manage that?
  2. Thanks for the great TR! THis is really a bargain when you consider all the coaster rides you can get in on the day of the tour. Once again, great trip report.
  3. Wow, I guess I fell for that. Anyone want to sell me a bridge? I still go back to my original prediction, some kind of ride.
  4. Glad to see that some people are taking the time to teach our youth the important things in the world. Poker and the monorail. Will you also be teaching her how to bet with/against the spread?
  5. ^ That would make sense, it will be close to Maverick and could have an entrance from Frontier Trail.
  6. Well, this track is NOT going to CP.
  7. Cedar Point will be getting a GCI wood coaster. Yay, I was right! LOL. Now there will be less reason to ride MS. I will not guess the entire name, but will guess that it starts with the letter M.
  8. ^^^ Great life lesson: "It is better to beg forgiveness than to ask permission"
  9. August 6th, 2009 blog CP website showing that the addition, whatever it is, will in fact be on MF island. I would guess a GCI or GG woodie, but we are talking about CF. My best guess: Either a coaster or a flat or a water ride. Really going out on a limb here! But a more accurate guess is that a large number of people will run the new ride down before it is even built. Turns out it is a GCI woodie!
  10. I have found the Raptor crews and Gemini crews to be fun. Maybe you just caught them on a bad day. I check out the webcams on the website almost daily and it looks as though there is no "light" crowd days this year, according to what the parking lot looks like from the the cam on TTD. . Every day it appears to be very crowded. I rarely spend the entire day there anymore, get there for the morning ERT and we can usually get on Maverick, MF and Raptor which leaves just enough time to go over to WT before 10am. Ride some flats, see a show, and when the park gets very crowded, we leave. For me, it is mostly about being with my daughter, coasters and rides are just extra. PKI, we are headed to KI for morning ERT on Saturday, will you be working then? we will stop by and say hello.
  11. Had a great time hanging out with you, James, Craig and Gage that day Mike, I wish I could have stayed longer. I rode your #600 (Maverick) and 771, Diamondback with you. Wow, You rode 171 coasters in almost exactly one year. That is amazing. Great pics and great TR as usual. Kayla and I are headed up NYC way in November, hopefully we can meet up with you for dinner or a show.
  12. Only it seems that Mr. 6F frequently can not get it up......What good is the size if it is never "up"? I am not female so i am not qualified to answer that one... Guy, I most certainly agree with So that is 2 for vagina! Ken "can turn the most mundane comment dirty" O Oh one more thing, Nat, if you ever do develop that handy skill, regarding the mucus plug, will you promise to NOT show everyone?
  13. So in that picture,,,, the car/train with the unsuspecting TPR passengers is being sent forth from the cervix, out from the vagina and into the bright shining world beyond? So in a sense, these are 'born-again" TPR members? Maybe a TTD or KK needs to be built next to this one???? Oh wait, next you will say there is nothing phallic about those two? Great TR Robb, looks like a great trip.
  14. MMM, stopped at the Dutch Heritage in Mansfield Ohio last Saturday morning on my way to CP. Had all you can eat bacon (and some eggs and awesome cheesy potatoes and other breakfast stuff) for 7.59! Nothing like riding coasters with your belly stuffed full of bacon.
  15. Thanks. Was very happy the forecast ended up being wrong. i guess the lake can sometimes change the weather in a hurry.
  16. More pics... Last pic, notice those stormy skies. I think Raptor is very photogenic and is my fave at the park... most of the time.... Thanks for reading my trip report. We went back on Sunday morning for the ERT. If Justin who was working Magnum on Sunday reads this, sorry could not chat. Justin noticed my TPR tshirt and said hey. The new fountain is kind of cool, these kids sure think so. Kayla hanging out with Snoopy. I have a very cool daughter. Overall, I am not a huge fan of the food at CP, but one exception is the fries. Of course I had to split my order up as Kayla, gasp, does not like to have her cheese fries swimming in vinegar. The very cute employee from eastern Europe was kind enough to split the fries up for us. More Intamin goodness, this was the 2nd launch forward, Wish I would have waited another split second to get the pic. 80% chance of thunderstorms, some severe with hail and damaging wind! NOT. I really need to be a weatherman. You are responsible to NO ONE. Every report with me would be the same: "May rain, may not, what do I care? it is not like you can sue me or anything" Mmm, Intamin inverted goodness. Wicked Twister, best double twisting LIM invert. Ever. This is another ride that I really enjoy at CP but does not get much love. Which is good, because frequently the line for this one is not too bad. Corkscrew brought to you the American Chiropractic Association, which we no longer ride as we have become accustomed to walking upright and not having debilitating spinal cord injuries. Magnum lift hill...Through the station! Magnum did not have much of a wait either. I know how people feel about this one, but I always have a fun ride as long as I remember to protect my junk on the bunnies after the turn around. Gemini line was a walk on all day, both sides running and actually had a fun ride on this today. Just having fun with the camera, NO my 11 year old daughter was NOT drinking my beer. TEN more years for that to become reality, SHUDDER. 5 more years and this will be reality. AhhhhH!!!!!!!!!! Had to take this one for a certain person on TPR that I know had to use this during Coastermania 2008. This was right after park opening to the GP. Skies clearing up and Maverick was riding great. I thought ops on all the rides were great today. Kayla making sure she beats the running of the bulls to Panda Express. Seriously, if she could, this kid would Panda Express and nothing else. MF finally opened, but only with one train. A 2nd train was added just in time for us to get on it. Skyhawk is testing. Skyhawk is running a longer ride cycle which is great, and not as noisy. Rides come to life, first Wave Swinger....
  17. Had been watching the weather all week. 80% chance of rain, storms in Sandusky all day, some severe with hail and high winds. Since I have a place to stay and a Platinum Pass, I figured, WTH, still going to go, i will be spending time with the coolest daughter anyway. Turns out, after some early drizzle before 10, weather was perfect. When Kayla and I go to CP, we do not even try to ride everything, so the photos will not be all inclusive, just where we happened to be walking. Luckily I held the camera and you get to see her, NOT me. Anyway, on to the photos. Kayla and the day starting out wet.
  18. Great TR thus far. Nice to see my home park get a little love. Agree with you on TTD and MF, but I do so enjoy Raptor. As a platinum pass holder, it is kind of fun to ride Raptor before 10 to look down on the GP waiting to ride as the train does a left turn......
  19. Actually, park may be rather crowded as there are specials running for platinum pass holders, bring a friend for 24.99 and that friend gets early entry, etc.... I think these specials run most of next week. According to the emails i got.
  20. Changing my vote There are 2 pictures now, each with one of my favorite things... (sing the song from Sound of Music... Boobs and tight asses in red satin panties..is that how it goes?) 1/2 vote for Renee 1/2 vote for the Oscar winning performance of having butt cheeks in two different states to Brooke.
  21. In reverse order. No you will not get wet at all on Diamondback. Do you have Platinum Season Pass? I agree with the advice to go to Firehawk first. FOF and then Vortex rather close to each other. The line for Stunt Coaster can get long as well, which I NEVER wait for if it is longer than the bridge. Parking is 10.00, preferred, close parking is 15.00, IMO not worth the 5.00, but I never have to pay for parking. Food: I believe Wings, between Diamondback and Beast is still all you can eat. They have some Montgomery Inn BBQ in there so it is very good. Panda Express in the Festhaus is good as is Skyline Chili near The Racer. Of course, you can have this anytime. Larosa's pizza is served in I think 3 locations and this is not too bad. Last time I was there, wristbands allowing you unlimited drinks were on sale in the Festhaus for 10.00. Very good bargain for both days.
  22. Why did you not have Elissa recreate the classic Elissa pic? I would have voted for that! Alas, I vote for Nay recreating the pic. Glad we did not see other things stretching across the state line. Great update, looks like a great time.
  23. This would be one step to building a new ride, or, it could mean I was right... lol. So going by past history, this would mean a new ride.
  24. Mean Streak at CP. Followed closely by Corckscrew at CP and SOB at KI
  25. ^^ Did the spoons come with warning labels for what they are NOT to be used for, for example: --keep away from eyes to avoid gouging --do not attempt open heart surgery with this spoon. --do not place too far into the throat to avoid gagging --not to be used as a sex toy --To avoid brain freeze, if eating ice cream with the mulit-purpose spoon, eat the ice cream slowly. or even --This multi purpose spoon is intended for the consumption of food ONLY, the user of said spoon hereby holds the manufacturer, distributor and location where the spoons were obtained completely harmless from damages, injuries, etc, occurring when the spoon is used for any other activity, use or function, other than food consumption. If not, I could see some serious lawsuits. I work at a law firm, so if such an injury occurs AND there are no such warning labels, you MAY have a case. Oh yeah, Waffle house does rock. Order over light, hashbrowns all the way, bacon.... Mmmmmmmm, Luckily I have one 1 mile from my house.
