  1. ^ Yes, only by Coastermania, the muffleheads also wake up! We had a great day, I did not mean to sound too critical.
  2. First, weather was perfect! Had a great day with my daughter. Park was very crowded, tons of buses for school trips, which might have thinned out after we left around 5pm. The Good: The weather, I was just enjoying being out in the sun, temp could have been a few degrees warmer, but that is it. The Bad: MF was not ready for early ride time at 9, I did not go back to Maverick, but heard from friends that it too had issues. Then at 10, WT was not ready to go. All in all, had a great day, The Ohio State Spring Athletic band was there (not to be mistaken for the OSU marching band, the band at CP had woodwinds) and played the National Anthem and I was happy that I did not have to tell anyone, this year, to remove their hat while this was played. On to some photos: I have video of the singing guy while we were waiting at MF, but would not upload. Any regular at CP knows the singing guy. Today he had Adam Lambert playing on his iPod. My daughter told me this as I do not know any Adam Lambert songs. First arrival at park...something is missing.... What would opening day be at CP without the trash cans? Raptor, thro...well, you know. My daughter waiting until the clock struck 9. I am sure that someone has a pic of the ride that used to be here, just not at CP anymore. B&M goodness. Almost needed some alone time.... Go Bucks! Shortly after 9 and no MF. Not good. My wonderful daughter. Sheesh, buy a platinum pass for her and you would think she could at least crack a small smile. Such angst! Club TPR! So after waiting until almost 930am at MF, we skedaddled to Raptor for a ride and was able to get over to WT before the running of the bulls, however, WT was not running, so it was off to Magnum Almost a smile there! She likes Magnum and it was a good ride today. Ghost people on Gemini! These ghost people will show up later in this TPR, well NOT show up.. but... well... Mean Streak, still not burning. Darn. Did not ride, will usually ride this once a year as chiropractors need to make a living too. Too long for Maverick right now. Gotta go eat. Did ride this later in the day. Maverick usually is a great ride and today was not exception. We got a front seat ride in front of two very loud screamers. Pic of Maverick's best air time hill. Food was easiest to get to by train.... Train takes you right through Boneville. YES! The fire was finally put out! The daughter on the Sky Ride. Main Midway from the Sky Ride. More B&M goodness. Raptor was great today. Oops almost forgot STR from the train. More STR, this looks very nicely themed. Should be fun. For food, I try to avoid eating in the park, because, well, I like to eat food. It was out by the Marina today and to Famous Daves for a nice tasty burger with bacon and pulled pork. Also ate a lot of the pickles. I live in Columbus, and no Famous Dave's there, but do like it. I am quite content to have a Montgomery Inn in Columbus now Ok, this set the old glucometer through the roof! Bread pudding. Phenomenal. Amazing. A statues butt. The statue was holding a BLEEPING pan flute. The ghost people chose to get wet today. Happy glass! Ok, here is something way icky. The guy behind the guy in the blue jacket was retrieving plates of food from the trash. I was almost retching so I hurried past, he was talking to the two other guys and describing what he was doing. I like to try to save money, but not this way. Ok, Cedar Downs is very important to my daughter and I, well, it used to be, when I won, not so much today. Sheesh Kayla, it is just a ride.
  3. Thanks for the info. I would assume that the remaining episodes for the season will play. It is a decent show, but I do not see where the plot would go in another season.
  4. I agree with Chuck, good game does not mean good movie. Come to think of it, I do not think I have ever watched a movie based on a game. Hey BeemerBoy, Canes v. Bucks in the shoe this September. Another friendly wager?
  5. Hey, did you have to use the "Fastpass" line? I am sure some Disney lawyers will be interested in this..... Looks like a nice fair. Great photos and TR. There is no way to eat a frozen banana that does not look obscene.
  6. I will take Natalie's word for the gender of the Yeti, she is the Expedition Everest expert. Plus, this is something that I don't really want to confirm for myself.
  7. Wow, interesting. I like a good mix up at the top.
  8. Must be getting close to opening day! They have started putting out the trash cans. I am sure that it will take a 24 hour/day effort from now until 9:00 Saturday morning to get all of these out. http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/fun/webcams/index.cfm I agree with what Robb said, people need to lighten up. Whenever there is a new coaster announced it is like a race to see who can be the first to come up with reasons why the ride will suck, restraints.. not enough air time... etc. This is usually just by watching the animations.
  9. I am sure there will be a height requirement before the ride opens on 5/29.
  10. SOB for sure But I also find The Beast very rough and rarely ride that.
  11. here is the Coastermania page: http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/news/coastermania/index.cfm Notice the cool ClubTPR logo on the bottom! I think the ERT schedule is good and each session is in one area so you do not waste a large portion of ERT walking between coasters. I bet if you do not like your spine and head, you can walk right on during the Mantis ERT. 2 Hours of ERT on MF is particularly good.
  12. I will be there too. Perhaps the TPR people should schedule a meet? and and STR is on the ERT schedule.
  13. This thread got way too intense. If you do not want to eat yummy tasty fatty foods, don't. Back to basics I like bacon. Fatty foods taste the best. It is my belief that brussel sprouts cause cancer. I will not be getting any cancer from brussel sprouts* *Same thing goes for cooked spinach, lima beans, peas, (except pea pods in Chinese food), and most other vegetables (unless drenched in bacon and/or cheese and/or covered in a tasty fatty balsamic vinaigrette). Yes, I eat many things that are not good for me, and I am sure some contain trans fat. I understand this, I am responsible for what goes in my mouth (I said "goes in my mouth), and I do NOT need a lecture. I have this thought that tomorrow I may get hit by a bus, or have part of the International Space Station fall on me, and on the way to the afterlife, I would be thinking "Damn! I should have eaten that Double Down!" I got that problem covered. Oh and for the record, I do NOT want the government any more involved in telling me what I can and can not eat such as banning anything.
  14. You can see all of the episodes on abc.com.
  15. Very neat. Why can't bad stuff like this (getting stuck on a ride) every happen to me???? Ok, now I have done it, now I will get stuck upside down on an invert or something like that. Yes, I know it can not happen, but I have just tempted the gods.
  16. Darn. This and another woodie in Ohio would look great on fire.
  17. Has anyone considered how many chiropractors will be affected?
  18. I have never read the book. But would probably like it. I agree with the conspiracy stuff and mole. I kind of thought it was going to be the FBI or whoever trying to catch those responsible and it it still is somewhat, but the mole and stuff does get tedious.
  19. Last night was a good episode, but when dealing with the gun, they where in a huge warehouse with lots of stuff that looked like it could have been put in between the gun and demetri to deflect the bullet, of course that would not have been nearly dramatic. Reminded me of this:
  20. Yes! Some bacon and cheese between two sausage patties? The sauce could be some gravy......
  21. Ok, now I will have to try one tomorrow. I will get one with double bacon. Just to make Robb a little jealous, will go to Waffle House for breakfast, like most mornings, the KFC for lunch, which is right next to the White Castle. Ahhhh Columbus Ohio, the mecca of fast food. Then after that, a quick trip to the cardiologist for some defib and then the treadmill. Now if I could just get my pancreas to work correctly, would fit in some Cold Stone..... Eggs, hashbrowns scattered smothered, double covered, and now with gravy, mix it all up and mmmmmmmm Hey, WH is open 24 hours....... Did you make it to a WH while in VA Robb?
  22. I got hooked on this, not the best, but it is getting interesting. Not sure if the huge gap in episodes lost a lot of viewers. Anyone else watching? This is about the only network show I watch, most of the time a History Channel geek.
  23. I have last nights episode on the DVR, was hilarious. Finally get to learn who cartman's father is. http://www.channelsurfing.net is another place that you can stream SP episodes. You can not select the episodes as it appears the episodes play at random, but play in a constant loop.
