  1. I'm still not sure I wanna dish out the 20 bucks for the new apps...would you say they were worth it CTU?
  2. For me I am rebeating REZ for the umpteenth time. I am also playing Advance War 2, Rock Band, and of course COD4.
  3. I thought it was a pretty good episode. Not as good as the last season openers...but it was a new LOST and that's good enough for me. ^ There is one big thing that was a huge easter egg to this episode that you missed.... SPOILER ALERT... In the episode we actually see who Jacob is. I won't tell who it is...but if you check out Lost Screencaps you can see who it is. As for the commercials get used to it. Think about it this way...this is the ONLY new show on TV right now that isn't reality tv. Thus, sponsors will be buying ad time like no body's business b/c of the viewer ship of the show.
  4. Did anyone keep up with the LOST ARG ....find815.com? Apparently some of the characters from the game will be meeting up this season with the losties. I thought it was a pretty fun diversion and I can't wait for the premier tonight!
  5. I'll be really happy if the 8 episodes are similar to then end of last season as opposed to that beginning prison/alcatraz story arc. Personally, I almost gave up on lost during those, but was really into the show by the time of the finale last year.
  6. I saw a Wilhelm Scream and the Flatliners a few weeks back...great show with great energy. Those Wilhelm guys shred. I'm going to see Tiger Army this weekend and can't wait!
  7. ^ It's going to be on thursday night. 8PM EST for the recap show, 9 for the actual show.
  8. I also picked up both games...and am kinda up in the air on them both, and can't decide if they are just okay or really great. NMH is definitely unique and entertaining, while Endless Ocean is completely relaxing and entrancing. I'm a SCUBA diver and I think they got some of the fish models pretty spot on
  9. I saw the tunnel vision display at IAAPA...pretty cool stuff.
  10. I used to love summit plummet when I was working there...rode it at least once a day, however I preferred Slush Gusher (beside Summit). I have seen people go down head first on summit, as well as "jumping" off the top so they hit about 10 ft. down from the top of the slide. Anywho, can anyone confirm this...when I left Bliz the rumor was that they were going to put a speed gun at the bottom for guests to see how fast they were going. Any truth to that one?
  11. July! August! Reno! - The Flatliners
  12. pretty fun little game. Lost really knows how to do some top notch Viral marketing! Can't wait for the new season.
  13. I did a search in the forums and couldn't come up with anything so I thought it wouldn't hurt to post what I saw this morning. Sounds kinda interesting. Here is the press release! $7.5M Dark Knight Coaster set for April opening Important bits listed below.
  14. Say Anything - An Orgy of Critics
  15. I saw this at somewhere before and I really think that it could be a pretty fun little ride. The lift is pretty unique and would provide an interesting take on the whole flying coaster...which I have never really been a big fan of. If it was somewhere close I'd go out for a ride.
  16. The ones I can remember are: Starchaser and Vampire - SFKK Zambezi Zinger and Orient Express - Worlds of Fun Python - BGT Drachen Fire - BGW King Cobra - KI
  17. That was absolutely hilarious. There needs to be more slide POV...there isn't quite enough of that around these days...and nice shirt Wes. The Hold Steady...amazing band.
  18. That roll looks like it will be a lot of fun...may have to make the trip!
  19. The youtube video is up on the holiblog!
  20. I saw the layout in first drop today (just a 2d overview)...looks like the lift will parallel TR:TR and the coaster does in fact go over a lake...pretty sure the swan lake to be exact...not the other one. From the looks of it I wouldn't be surprised to see the Griffon/Sheikra water scoops used on it...but that's just my opinion! To give you an idea of how far back the coaster will go...I have been told that the beast's helix is about half way on the "out" portion of the ride.
  21. Just thought I would throw in my 2 cents on the Bare Bones nights at the Haunt. I went last night and there was absolutely NO ONE in the park. We walked in to all the houses and on all the rides. They were even allowing you to remain in your seat for re-rides. Now...it was in the low 40's which probably cut down on attendance, but we had a blast none-the-less! Definitely couldn't be beaten for the $15 admission.
  22. Mine has got to be the Phoenix at Knoebels...Sooo much air. Absolutely ridiculous.
  23. ^ I was there on friday night as well and got there right when the doors opened at 6. We were able to go through Dreamwalkers AND get 2 walk on rides for the Mummy within the first 30 minutes. I'd have to agree that the Dead Silence house got the most scares from my group, although my personal favorite was the Thing house! The only ones we didn't get through were Vampyre and Camp Blood...and we didn't have express passes.
  24. The site has been updated again with the dead silence tent and Jack's tent. Still working on how to get into Jack's tent...
  25. Just a fyi...apparently it's been confirmed that they are keeping at least one of the houses intact after HHN concludes for an IAAPA walk-through.
