  1. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. My heart sank even at the thought of the horror that could ensue. I can't see it happening but still, if there is a themepark god, don't let this happen!
  2. This whole new generation of tech at Disney is very, very exciting, I can't wait to see it in action with my own eyes, plus I can't wait to get my own band as a passholder! I know that passholders will get their own but, with resort guests, will they just recyle and re-appoint bands from person to person? I hope they are made of some clever polymer, else they could get quite scuffed up and dirty, especially the kids versions. I'm sure they aren't cheap to produce either but my goodness it's a cool idea, plus for me carrying lots of little pieces of paper get's fustrating quickly in the rain. Good work Disney, leading the way again!
  3. From memory I've seen Thorpe Park on the approach to London and to Orlando int. both Disneyworld and Kennedy Space. The last two are super cool to see, I always feel like it's a bit of a naughty treat really before you get there
  4. This is amazing timing, my parents have just arrived in Florida for a month to volunteer at GKTW (They are essentially fullblown snowbirds now) Here's hoping they are feeling up for it, my goodness it would be funny to see them do it
  5. They are getting rid of the Festival of the Lion King show? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
  6. It starts with "M" and ends with "oney". Mahoney? My favourite reply probably ever on TPR
  7. Kraken - Seaworld Orlando Smooth, pretty intense but not overly and just a really good time everytime.
  8. Wow, just... wow When I first saw the concept art I wasn't sure about it but man, that thing is just incredible. I genuinely might have to convince the rents' to take us on a holiday to Cali now to ride that thing, it looks one of the best experiences I have ever seen, that dark ride portion is just phenomenal. WWOHP the best themed immersive themepark section in the US? I don't think so.
  9. Congratulations guys, really well done on your endurance test! The question we all want to know now is, what's happening with the Prize money? Is it being split 7 ways? Even if it is, that's an incredible achievement and will be so so appreciated at the village.
  10. GO ON!!! Best of luck to you both, sending best wishes from the UK
  11. My first time I ever went on Shiekra at Busch Gardens. I remember it now, heart racing, sweaty palms, shallow breathing, the whole shabang. I was genuinely praying going up the lift hill I was so worried I might die if we came off the track... Now it's one of my favourite coasters but man that was a scary first ride.
  12. Phenomenal photographs mate, some of the shots of the parade and that long exposure shot of the night time show are amazing.
  13. I think that was speculation after IAAPA (Was it there that we first thought this?) that 'one of the Orlando area parks' had "bought" one. It would appear that maybe at first they had intentions of purchasing one but then thought to go more all out on it and get a customized ride, yay!
  14. It's beautiful... Whilst i'm not typically a fan of out and back coasters, this just looks phenomenal and will be brilliant for Florida. Good on Fun Spot for really pushing the boundaries with this one. Here's hoping this coaster can really set this place on the map and rejuvenate the otherwise dying area of International Drive. Cannot wait, it looks an total airtime beast
  15. ^Phenomenal drivvle. The least reputable 'newspaper' publishing the least likely story of the day just make me chuckle
  16. Fantastic photos my friend, great work.
  17. I should should think so, IMO it's a good step for the park to strengthen their ecologically friendly movement / image and also cut down on waste. If they highlight the damage plastic bags do to the environment at the til, I'm sure people will be okay / convinced to pay $0.20 or something similar to get a plastic bag instead if the money goes to a conservation fund (which I presume some, if not all proceeds will go to).
  18. ^^ I've been on it countless times now and yes, there are certainly trains to avoid and rows to avoid too. It seems like the 2 back rows in any of them will cause the ride to suck pretty bad but, in some cases it's completely intolerable. There was one video of me just the whole time screaming get me outta thing thing, was pretty funny must be said
  19. Wow, that looks amazing - the theming is just phenomenal.
  20. I heard the Manta in Orlando was crap, if so then this Manta should totally redeem its doppleganger I hope you are joking... Manta Orlando is a phenomenal ride, it's completely different to anything else in Florida and, although I haven't been on any other flyers, it's a pretty sweet ride IMO. For me the themeing is just top, the execution of the ride is also brilliant and it's a tremendous addition to the Seaworld portfolio. I'm sorry but your mate is pretty wrong. Anyway, back to this one, looking to be shaping up pretty sweet. The 270* tunnel thing looks different, I like how Seaworlds really upping their game to bring something 'new' to the table.
  21. Wow... that place looks phenomenal, a really really beautiful park. Thank you for sharing it with us, I had no idea this place existed.
  22. That genuinely looks terrifying. I must go on it
  23. Great job Darrin! A really informative and funny presentation there, it sounded like you had a great response too. I enjoyed it as well, thanks for sharing.
  24. yeah... ouch. Those seat rotations just look jerky as anything, that can't be comfortable.
