  1. Very very excited about all these additions. Seaworlds one of my favourite parks so, these improvements can only be a positive for me. Will be interested to see what the ride mechanism is for the 'dark ride', maybe something like 'poohs honey hunt' in Japan could would be not far off? not sure, far too early to tell. I'm somewhat slightly dubious that it will be 'ground breaking' for what is essentially seeming to be a family / children's ride but, could certainly be different in the local area (if you ignore Spiderman ), I know they will deliver something special though
  2. @kidcoaster 2 It'll be very quiet this time of year, especially on a Friday (i'm pretty assured of that but, you NEVER know). I still suggest you turn up for opening to get the credits in real quick but, as a single rider, I can do BOTH parks in one day and get every credit more than once, it's awesome. I think the fast passes would be a bit of a waste unless your in a big group who pay for their own tbh imo... And yes alpengeist04, that door is awesome. It also scares people walking along the line when you pop in from the side which is awesome haha.
  3. For Forbidden Journey I presume? Right, go inside the castle, then take the first left. The corridor has a sign of a silhouette person with 1 hand and finger in the air. It's pretty obvious but could be missed if your not thinking, just take look around (in the dark ) and you should be able to see it! It's pretty awesome, I never wait more than 5 minutes, even when the queue is a couple of hours. Yay! EDIT: If your looking for the singles line for Dragon Challenge, there... kind of isn't one but... You can miss the long walk (themed line) by walking up the exit of the ride (behind Ollivanders), taking a left along the corridor when you get 'into the castle' and there is a metal door on the right hand side, it's usually open as it's a "chicken escape" so you can go through there and skip 3/4 of the queue. I usually go on second row on fire and the middle / back on Ice, they seem to have the lowest queue lines for some reason. It's rarely very busy though. Hope that helps!
  4. Urrmmm, WOW? Thats... incredible, I'm actually really impressed by that haha. Must question, how does it work though? Do they use a voice manipulator? Surely they aren't all pre-recorded messages and all? My minds a little bit blown by that, well done Imagineers, well done.
  5. Urhhh... surely if, you can read the thread then it works? Oh Rob, you do make me laugh.
  6. Litterally just came home from watching Coldplay at a gig at my student union in Norwich, England. It was pretty incredible, only 1500 people watching one of the worlds biggest bands, wow. And yes, the album is just, a piece of genius. Will be going to buy it tomorrow!!
  7. well, good work speaking to them Phil and agreed, very good of them to take their time to speak to you. Did you say you were a member of TPR? Maybe they went beyond the call of duty if they knew it would be shared on an enthusiasts site? In any case, i've only found them to be courteous and helpful so, it's not a huge surprise but, that is good of them.
  8. Steve, these photos are just fantastic. Can't wait to see any future work, amazing shots of Aquatica, it's like looking at the brochure again!
  9. Too right, I love how the GP do that! Also, being a single rider, if I'm lucky, there may be a space on the front so, I load go on last (let a group of 3 go before me) sit down but, delay pulling down my restraint, sometimes (Like on the Hulk) the Ops are fantastic and let me hop on the front. Yes, it's cheeky, I do realise but, it's painful to see a space unfilled on the front row, right?
  10. I's go along with the netting concept, shame I can't see it happening though. I'll miss the duelling aspect of it unless they have a change of heart.. I must say it hasn't been the same since potterization though, I loved the skulls and theming in the queue, it feels like it's been stripped of it's Character. Also, the entrance to it is just awful compared to the genius that was the two dragons, as is the 'Go Hufflepuff' signs and stuff, they look like they are deteriorating pretty quick tbh
  11. Gotta vote Kraken on this one, what a fantastic coaster.
  12. Pretty blurry when it comes to Trespass in Scotland, it appears its... an offence but, not an offence? I dunno, it's confusing really... Anywho, cool video, a little bit like urbexing but, theme park related, I like that. Will be sad but, would be cool to have a follow up video in the exact same locations seeing how decay is happening a year down the line, like after this winter and such. Sad to see it's closed though, looked quaint and quite nice actually.
  13. Yeah the state of affairs of the park is quite sad to see, well, in The Lost Continent it is for sure, feels like IOA's forgotten part of the park. I guess, if it is true that it's going to be transformed into an expansion of Potterland then, we won't need to worry about the mould problem that much longer haha. Sadly I agree with the other sentiments though, it feels like WWOHP is sucking life from the other parts of the park, whenever I go, it seems the entire park is in there, no-where else, just there, the rest of the park is dead quiet. It's kind of sad really. Is the standard of the park slipping? Maybe a little bit really even though attendance & profits are up by a HUGE amount ...
  14. Wow, can I just say, your TR's are just... fantastic. Wish I could say I had the same level of skill with my camera, fantastic work, can't wait to see the next updates!
  15. I rarely rarely ever do any photography in Themeparks so, this is a special one off kind of photo from me. Yes, I know it's not a Coaster like everyone else on this thread but, you know. It's just Disney, you just can't NOT take that photo when you're there *note the guy in the Christmas hat bottom right*
  16. ahh, my bad. New to this posting business, sorry y'all
  17. Looks fantastic, was very sad when Cypress Gardens closed but, I think Merlin have done a fantastic job with the park actually. May have to check it out sometime.
  18. Seaworld has no open / closed seasons... It is open year round, if that's what you were inferring.
  19. Can I just say KCForce, wow. That is... really impressive. I'm looking at all your videos, they must have taken a seriously long time to build, fantastic work, keep it up, they are fascinating!
  20. Hey everyone, ridiculously long time lurker, first time poster so, here I am now, I even forgot I held an account... Names Edward, Uni student from the UK - Norwich to be exact, favourite coaster in the UK would be... Stealth (I think [not huge on UK parks with the people they sometimes attract... to be perfectly honest here] ) but my worlds favourite coaster is Kraken in Seaworld Orlando (Damn that's a sexy B&M coaster and it does help I adore that park). So yeah, hi everyone!
  21. Hey everyone, first ever post on TPR, long time lurker so, now feel finally a part of the community! [Please be kind, i'll get used to the format soon enough!] I'm really looking forward to these developments, the penguin plaza although pleasant has a lot of dead space, rarely do I ever see a crowd in the 'Antarctic Market' restaurant and the games area whole idea feels a bit out of keeping on the rest of the park, I think a dark ride will be great for the park, something it needs to keep up with increased competition with Universal & Disney's new investments. I for one can't wait as it's my "Home park"! (From the UK but, it's my favourite American park) Am sad to see the Manatee Rescue go, I have heard no plans for relocation from reports etc (I presume the entire exhibit will be lost?), will miss those gentle blobs dearly, do agree that the 360* cinema was a wasted area though. Will be good to also have something new in there. Can't wait till it's all done, will be keeping an close eye on it, think it could be a pretty exciting time for the park!
