I've got a couple facts, but does anybody have anymore to add & vintage pictures/ads/articles? -The American Sings attraction closed in 1988 & all the animatrics are all found in Splash Mountain. -It was once the longest flume ride in the world.

Maybe add a very fast high speed people mover thats a launch that goes 80mph the whole trip, & I don't know!

The top of the hill looks like its too close to the celing! How will a car get past that?

Its a roller coaster if its on a track & moves or its a coaster & flat ride in one.

I like Stunt Tower too for Drop Zone. Thats what I was thinking before reading your post! Survivor could be something like Spinning Disco or Disco Coaster?

Maybe CF will transform CGA into a mini CP starting w/the new big woodie for next year.

I just checked CP's websight & theyre taking reservations for their resorts & have the packages listed too.

Well on that other thread about Hypersonic XLC for sale everyone's saying it was a pretty bad coaster & there was nothing really good about it. I think CGA could do w/o it. CGA doesn't need another crappy coaster. How many more coasters do you think we'll get after this big woodie for 09? I certinately hope CF won't invest all their money on it & be like thats good enough for CGA. I mean come on CF sure 1 big woodie but what about a decent launch, floreless, or gigantic indoor coaster? Some new record breaker is what CGA needs thats just as big as Stealth or even bigger. Heres a hint get rid of that awfle hardly moving Grizzly! That will give CF even more space to build.

The last time at IOA in 2006 I didn't get on Dueling Dragons. I've been on Dueling Dragons before but starting with my next visit there I will make sure to always go on the Dueling Dragons. Also Superman the Escape in 2006 I was seated ready to go, broke down. Didn't get back to it later. This year I'll deffinately go on Superman to make up for missing it 2 years in a row! & more recently the Matterhorn. It was closed for 4 days end of January. When I go to the DLR again in the summer, I'll get to ride it then.

I've already spent 2 days at Disneyland & California Adventure this year & my first coaster of the year was Big Thunder. I'm also going to Disneyland again for 2 days, Magic Mountain & Knotts. Also Cedar Point for 2 days. I've never been to both Knotts & Cedar Point. This will be quite a coaster year for me!

Hey you Cedar Fair people! Use your Afterburn name for Survivor! That will work! & you'll put your Afterburn name to use again!

I can predict it will be the next big e-ticket after the Carsland!

Don't forget about the Little Mermaid ride at DCA for next year! It looks cool. Hopefully the Cars ride will be much faster than Test Track. Hopefully California will get the new park. California needs to catch up to Florida.

Well I think CF thought Flight Deck fits better than Afterburn which it does. Flight Deck isn't a terrible name after all. Maybe they'll use Afterburn for Survivor's name.

I'd told you CF could possibly read our bashing of the name. I'm glad they listened & realized it was an awfle name! Afterburn is better, but seems to fit a coaster like Invertigo more or even Survivor. It will do though. Who knows maybe some CF people are TPR members too!

Whoo hoo! Hopefully it will go to CGA where it was supposed to go in the first place & we'll get it in 09 after the gigantic GCI woodie in 08. That will be a nice touch! CGA has absolutely NO launch coasters except for Greased Lightnin which is long gone. Who cares if it was crappy. CGA could sure use it!

Is the drop tower a kiddie one or one like Dr. Doom? They could have built it taller - theres more room. That would be cool if it reached up almost to the top of the roof.

I'm going to Disneyland next week. Is Splash Mountain open? I sure hope it is!
