I have soft fabric shorts w/zippers. They worked real well. Its better than a big bulky fanny pack. You can get shorts w/zippers at a sporting goods store.

The themeing looks great. I hope Spongebobs speed won't be too slow!

I am really wooried now. I'm going to SFMM in July or August. When do they plan on painting Superman? Its one of my favorites & I've got to get on it this year! Nice trip report & pictures. Can't wait for X2!!!

Big Thunder, Disneyland CA NO DOUGHT!!!

Wow ERT for every single coaster - That would have been complete heaven for me!!! Espically since SFMM is a top favorite park of mine. I wish I could have gone. Hopefully next year. SFMMRULES!

TPR members MIGHT get to go on it for a special preview since they have started testing. You never know. Anything can happen. That sure would be a big surprise. You've got about a 50% chance. I won't get to SFMM until July or August. I sure can't wait to ride X2 first thing. What kind of coaster is it called anyways - a 4D or???

I perfer Disneyland because to me Disneyland has a fuller Magic Kingdom since it has the new subs, the Matterhorn, ect that the Disney World Magic Kingdom doesn't have & Disneyland's Space, Pirates & I believe Splash & Big Thunder are all better.

Maybe it could be a mix of Space Mountain, Revenge Of The Mummy & Rock N Roller??? That would be cool. I am SOOOO happy its not going to be a Tony Hawk clone or a Dark Knight. SFMM is not getting a Tony Hawk because hello! SFDK is getting one this year & a GCI woodie doesn't seem possible either since CGA is already going to get one in 09.

What the heck are those barrels in the middle of the train???

I think we all know what it could be: Yet another Tony Hawk (more likely) since he kept mentioning Tilt A Whirl several times or the indoor mad mouse ride that Six Flags Great America is getting this year. Or a coaster like Revenge Of The Mummy. That would be cool!

Another Tony Hawk? When theres one at SFDK? SFMM needs to be more original than trying to copy all the other parks. Why not make SFMM be the top thrill park + have thrilling rides no other parks have. At least SFMM still has their De Ja Vu.

I'm going in early August instead of end of July - during the middle of the week. Can you walk to the park from the Sandcastle Suites? If not how long does the shuttle take?

Woo! I'll be at SFMM in August. Already looking forward to X2. I never got to ride the original X so I'm very excited.

Wow sounds soooo good! Already can't wait to go on whatever it is! I can't possibly think of what it might be! Someday I'll have to go to Canada to ride that, do Canada's Wonderland & Galaxyland. But I have been to Niagara Falls though. I rode a sky tram down to the falls & took the Maid Of The Mist boat ride that goes right next to the falls, but hmmm.........

Will SFMM get a nice resort hotel with most importantantly a FREE shuttle that runs to/from the airport? SFMM is very hard to get to if you don't have a car. I think adding a Free shuttle will attract a lot more visitors & make it easier to get there. Also, maybe SFMM should also borrow ride ideas from Islands Of Adventure.

After focusing on the kiddie sections, how soon will SFMM see another coaster since two got removed? & please never get rid of Superman The Escape! That ride needs to stay!

I remember that playground at SFDK. I always made sure to go there. I loved those jumping areas, & the big whale where there was a slide to slide into balls, & especially that big slide. Those were the days! By the way it was once called Marine World Africa USA. Then Six Flags Marine World.

Looked like a neat little park. I never got to go there. Is there any other pictures of the slides & not just the CGA ones?

That picture of Robb is so funny in Batman's car. It cracks me up! Kidtums looks even more adorable & X2 & Viper both painted almost the same color? UG! It looks like one coaster comebinded as one! They need to do something about the color scheme on Baja Ridge. I liked X2's original colors. The yellow looked nicer. Maybe TPR members should each take home a part of Physclone to remember it was one of the worst coasters in the world!

Is the Spongebob coaster a launch? That would be cool if it were a launch. Where does it start - not by going up the hill I think.
