I've been there and I believe I posted a TR a while ago. It felt like church with a $30 admission fee. I'll see if I can dig up some photos for the avatar contest.

I have stayed at the Breakers and it's pretty nice. OK, so it's 100 years old! There's the newer tower section you can stay in. The Breakers Express is nice. It's like a very clean Holiday Inn. Oh, and any CP-owed hotel gives you 30 minute early entry so you can ride the good stuff. MF and Dragster are open during that time. I believe Wicked Twister and Raptor are open too, but the open rides seem to change each year.

I don't recall DLR using biometrics. You can probably use the unused days, but the problem is seeing how many unused days are on them. You can't tell by looking at them. The buyer may know, but he or she may be hiding the truth or selling old tickets without any days left. Remember these two words when buying tickets with unused days: cavet emptor. You can check the eBay user's feedback rating to see if he or she is trustworthy, but you might be better off just buying the tickets outright through official and sanctioned channels.

After reading TPR and its many references to rodents and McDonald's, my lifestyle has changed. I'm eating rodents and having McDonald's hamburgers as pets! It does feel strange, but if R&E love rodents and McDonald's, I can too!

If you don't want coffee or donuts, I think there is a McDonald's at the end of the causeway. There's also a bunch of chain restaurants and Denny type places all over Sandusky.
