  1. Hmmm...no video from me yet. I'll watch the videos when I have a chance to enjoy the excellent entertainment!
  2. When I graduated from high school, our graduation song was MC Hammer's "Can't Touch This!" Yes, I am old. Personally, I think the Bloodhound Gang's "The Ballad of Chasey Lain" would be a nice graduation song.
  3. What's up with this?
  4. DCA is a parking lot theme park! It was built on the former location of the DL parking lot. IOA was built on the former parking lot of USF. I don't see no parking lines anywhere at either park, though.
  5. Robb makes me feel this way too. I'm confused, do you mean that you also find Robb attractive, or do you mean that when Robb is around, you yourself feel fat, hairy, & alluring? Yes, and I wish I had manboobs like Robb's.
  6. I do Universal solo all the time. It's fun to do stuff on your own, when you want, and where you want without someone in the group saying, "Waaa, waaa, I don't want to do dat!" Besides, you can fill in the open single spaces and get a few minutes jump ahead of everyone else! If you need company, many TPR members live in the Orlando area. Erik Johnson is at Universal a lot!
  7. ^When either thing happens, Hell will freeze over.
  8. Robb makes me feel this way too.
  9. X at SFMM -- People kept on saying how great this coaster was. I ended up waiting 70 minutes for this ride. The first drop upside down was cool, but I thought the rest of the ride was pretty crappy! I waited 55 minutes too long for this coaster. The Beast at PKI -- It goes really fast down straight pathways. Ho-hum!
  10. Here's mine! "How I Learned to Love Roller Coasters and Stopped Worrying About the Beast" By Barry Hom The TV news show "Inside Edition" reported that your chances of getting into a fatal roller coaster accident are 1 in 10 million. Yet, every time I thought about riding one, I thought that I would die. I used to avoid riding roller coasters. I chickened out on Space Mountain at the Magic Kingdom. I avoided Busch Gardens Tampa for years. If I didn't ride the roller coasters, I didn’t think I could do much else at that theme park. I did ride Big Thunder Mountain at the Magic Kingdom and I was terrified. I swore to never do it again! That all changed when I visited Islands of Adventure in May 1999. I initially planned to avoid riding the roller coasters. My main draw to the park was one ride – The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man. I passed by the Incredible Hulk Coaster many times thinking, "I'll save it for later." Finally, I decided to ride it. I almost ran away from the entrance, but I thought of what my mom said when I wouldn't eat lima beans -- "How do you know if you don't like it if you haven't tried it?" I never ate my lima beans and I still haven’t put them in my mouth, but I figured I'd ride the roller coaster once and if I didn't like it, I'd ride something else. There are plenty of other things to do at the park! I entered the queue and I felt my heart pounding, my skin crawling, and my breath becoming shorter. Finally, I entered the coaster and was strapped in. I felt more scared than any other time in my life. It was scarier than my first date! As the car rolled into the launch tube, I want to cry. Then guests seated in the back of the coaster started yelling, "Whoo!" I began to yell "Whoo!" too. Suddenly, my fear turned into excitement and I was launched out! I yelled "Whoo!" so much that my voice was harsh after the ride. I don't remember much of what the track looked like because I kept my eyes closed (especially during the upside-down parts), but I was having so much fun that I didn’t really care. At the end of the ride, I said, "What a rush!" At that moment, a roller coaster enthusiast was born! I had planned to ride the Hulk Coaster zero times, but I ended up riding it seven times. I finally conquered the Magic Kingdom’s Space Mountain. I visited Busch Gardens Tampa a few months after visiting Islands of Adventure and enjoyed the coasters there. I’ve visited Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio – the roller coaster mecca – several times as well as many other roller coaster parks around the United States. I’ve joined the American Coaster Enthusiasts and I’m a current member of the Florida Coaster Club. Even though I’ve ridden the tallest and fastest coaster in the world (at the time when it opened in 2003) – Cedar Point’s Top Thrill Dragster – as my 100th coaster, I haven’t found a roller coaster that gave me a rush like my first ride on the Incredible Hulk Coaster, but I find joy in each and every one that I ride. Perhaps one day I will have the courage to eat lima beans.
  11. I might be up near the Atlanta and Charlotte area this summer. I was debating on visiting the Myrtle Beach Pavilion since it will be closing after this season. However, from what I've read about the place, it doesn't sound very appealing. The Hurricane coaster sounds pretty brutal! If I do go, it'll be at least a 6 hour drive from Charlotte and Atlanta. So is it worth the long drive to visit the Myrtle Beach Pavilion? Would it be better to visit parks closer to Atlanta, like Alabama Adventures, Lake Winnie, or Dollywood?
  12. I used to like MF a lot when my coaster count was around 50. Now after 299 coasters, MF doesn't rank as high. It has a good first drop and it's smooth, but there's not too much airtime. Heck, I'd rather ride Blue Streak over MF because I get more airtime on Blue streak (and the lines are way shorter!). There are better hyper coasters out there. If you want great airtime on a hyper, I don't think anything beat Apollo's Chariot in the back seat! This brings up a thought I've always had...bigger coasters aren't always better. I mean, parks tend to build bigger, faster, smeller, etc. coasters, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are better. It's like a discussion I had on another board about the best coaster at WDW. Invariably, people choose RNRC often because it is the biggest and baddest. RNRC is a fun coaster, but my favorite WDW coaster is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad because it is the most fun. You can throw up your hands, scream your head off, and have a lot of fun! It's not the smellest, baddest, biggest, obscenist, etc. coaster in the world, but it sure is a lot of fun!
  13. The good news: Spaces are open on the UK trip! The bad news: You might have to room with me!
  14. You need to watch "Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price." Check it out at www.walmartmovie.com
  15. The video and audio quality were pretty good. I played the video twice and randomly, it would cut out and then a page for the 3rd annual video editing contest came up! Once, it did it before Elissa was "spooged" on. Another time, it was after the shot of the goose! Downloading the video took a few minutes.
  16. The following people shall have their eyes taped open and be forced to watch 48 hours of "Mr. Belvedere": USRoadTripper waterviper
  17. I saw one where Elissa took her non-coaster friend to SFMM. There's another one where she is doing a play by play on Montu. She's just another Paul Ruben, but less annoying.
  18. What's up with this?
  19. ^Well, Julie can meet me or watch reruns of "Mr. Belvedere." I don't know which is worse, but make your choice!
  20. I think I should have put more donkeys and rodents in my videos.
  21. Personally, I think Julie has the hots for me. We need to meet at the Motel 6. I will bring the candles and Barry White CDs. You bring the sexy lingerie. *wink*
  22. I don't mean to brag, but one part is the actual size.
  23. Six Flags Great America in Chicago is worth doing, but I've never had much liking towards Six Flags America. I call the park "Attack of the Clones" because so many of the coasters are clones, like Batwing, S:ROS, Joker's Jinx, Two Face, etc. If you have a SF season pass, then I've visit it. If not, you might be better off driving a few hours south to PKD.
