  1. I rode the Ozark Wildcat 18 times one day. The lines were 5 minutes or less. I'm tempted to try to ride one coaster all day long, but I don't know if I can last that long.
  2. ^I'll be in California from April 29 to May 8. I'm planning on visiting SFMM on May 1. As a matter of fact, I think SFMM will be the only Six Flags that I visit this year.
  3. ^I do remember you, Mr. Puppy! The Infestation haunts me to this day. I think I can survive "Fear Factor" now. I didn't know about the second gate. Thanks! I'll probably ride Borg Assimilator, but I'll do the single rider line. Oh, if you want a copy of the Infestation video, PM or e-mail me.
  4. The Japanese are concerned about safety. Then hmmm...what's up with those boat jumpers in R&E's Japan video? That is WTF to infinity!
  5. This may be an MPEG-2 file. You can export your video to avi on Pinnacle Studio. Just click on the AVI button and set it to the default settings. That works for me every time.
  6. I'll be heading up to Wild Adventures this Saturday to see how the re-tracked Cheetah rides and to get the Boomerang credit (it was closed the last time I was there). I will head up to Carowinds next. I so want to ride Top Gun! I'm also going to make a side trip to Gainesville to grab some burritos from Burrito Bros. I've had craving for those burritos for a long time. I used to eat them a lot when I was a student at UF. Now I must have the delicious Mexican food. I can just taste the bean and beef burrito now! I will eat them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! My adventure will be like "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle." I don't know if I'll bump into Neil Patrick Harris, but I will ride a Cheetah!
  7. The Double Loop was down and I never saw it run. It's too bad because it's a nice coaster. I rode it at the South Florida Fair, but it was also down for the most part of the day there too. It pulled a Deja Vu!
  8. ^Yes, it's to the south of north Florida.
  9. Here's a video of the roller coasters of South Florida. I visited a few weeks ago to the Miami-Dade County Fair, Uncle Bernie's Amusement Park, and the Dania Beach Hurricane. Yes, Uncle Bernie's is like that. The Jungle Train Ride is the best, where you can see common jungle animals like cows and a deer. It's in WMV format and a little over 3 MB large. The video quality isn't great, but it's the only way I could attach it. Enjoy! A Day in Miami March 2005 wmv.zip
  10. Wooden Out & Back- Phoenix Wooden Twister- Ozark Wildcat Wooden Racing/Dueling- Lighting Racer Mine Train- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (Magic Kingdom) Wild Mouse- Bug Out Bobsled- Disaster Transport Stand Up- I don't like stand up coasters too much, but if I had to choose, it would be the Georgia Scorcher Floorless- Kraken Mega-Looper - Incredible Hulk Coaster Flying- Superman: Ultimate Flight Suspended- I don't like the suspended coasters that I've been on Inverted/SLC- Inverted: Dueling Dragons: Fire at IOA, SLC: Serial Thriller at Six Flags Astroworld, the smoothest one I've been on Non Looper Mega Coaster- Nitro Hypercoaster- Nitro Giga Coaster- Millennium Force Strata Coaster- TTD Boomerang- They're all just credits to me, bu does Deja Vu count as a boomerang? LIM- Mr. Freeze, Batman and Robin: The Chiller in 2nd place (would be 1st if it was up and running more often) Arrow Multi Looper- Tennesse Tornado
  11. I enjoy riding the Afterburner/Fireball type of rides. I always seem to end up on S&S shot towers for some reason. I don't do very many flats, unless it has a short line or a flat I've never been on.
  12. ^I know, love making takes 99.9% of your time.
  13. That sounds pretty neat, but do the Alveys have time to do all this between riding coasters, video editing, keeping their website up to date, love making, and working full time jobs?
  14. The seating looks like the seating from Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls at IOA. If you have long legs, it's a tight fit! I like WDW's Splash Mountain seating a lot better. You just sit your butt down and you're on your way. The DL Splash seating looks like you have to step on your friend's hand to get comfy!
  15. I rode the Dania Beach Hurricane in Dania, FL this weekend. Whoo-hoo...airtime city!
  16. Why the heck did they put a tin roof in Florida, where it rains a lot during the summer?
  17. I was able to do all the coasters, the S&S tower, the two simulator rides, and the laser show in about 3 1/2 hours. The longest wait I had was 15 minutes for Bug Out. This was on a Saturday in January too around 6 pm.
  18. Well, it looks like I'll be in Miami this Saturday for a few hours, so it's time for some credit hunting. I'll be getting credits at the Miami-Dade County Fair, the Dania Beach Hurricane, and Uncle Bernie's Amusement Park. I hope I have time for everything. Man, I feel like such a credit ho going to Uncle Bernie's, but I've got to see this place! I will do a POV of all of their coasters -- yeah! In two weeks, I might be up at SFNE. In a few more weeks it's out to Californida. If I make it to SFMM and ride Batman: TR, I will have the honor of having ridden every B:TR in the U.S. That deserves champagne or a stick in the eye.
  19. ^Nah, I sent my video entry in a while ago. I hope Rapid Pit Bull Tums did not eat it. I must say the present is better than a pair of chopsticks!
  20. Well, if Elissa likes plain food, we won't see her on "Fear Factor Couples" anytime soon eating cow spleen or whatever. Robb, however, will probably dig in!
  21. Hey Elissa, watch your mail for your birthday prezzie. It is... *drum roll* Star Wars underoos with Yodas and Jar Jar Binks on them!
  22. I don't think I've heard anyone really say a bad thing overall about USF's Mummy. The story could be a lot better, but the ride is so sweet! I think it's a roller coaster for people who don't like roller coasters.
  23. Are you staying onsite or offsite? It may be too late now, but if you can find an onsite hotel for a good price, take it. The room keys act as an unlimited Universal Express pass. Ride the Flying Unicorn until your belly hurts!
  24. I really like Dollywood. There's enough there to occupy a whole day or even 1 1/2 days. The employees are friendly and the food is tasty. The rides are pretty cool. Thunderhead is an intense ride, but it doesn't give too much airtime. The Tennesee Tornado is a good Arrow looper that didn't bang my head around. There's also some good flats and other neat stuff to see.
