The ride is open to the public for a week? That's news to me. It is clear SFMM is using this week to see how it is best to operate and adjust operations. Smart move actually. I am with you critisising the park on poor operations, but doing so BEFORE the ride even opens to the public is a little much.

You like well themed parks and Phantasialand, one of the best themed parks in Europe, is not on your list? The park is easy to be reached by train(close to Cologne) and should be a must visit park while in Germany -

I am pretty sure that every track that is wrapped up, you will either not see or be surrounded by theming when the ride is finished. Remember, 70% of the budget for this will go into theming(as stated by the park). This will be something special and BIG! -

Since today there are new views possible from inside the park. The track will cross 58 times, this turns into one of the most interesting projects around(all pics courtesy of coasterfriends.de) What the hell is going on here? Airtime? Underground digging, but why and for what? Phantasialand sure keeps it interesting! -

Phantasialand already stated that 70% of the budget will go into theming. Considering a Intamin launcher is not that cheap, I think we will be looking at something incredible. Can not wait for this to be finished. -

With the new scaffolding going up, all this wrapped up track makes more sense. Phantasialand will build extensive themed elements around the ride(as expected). Still no clue what happens there, no info from the Park, they keep it interesting. edit, picture courtesy of: phantafriends.de -

Talocan looks just so awsome! Leave it to Phantasialand, turning a "off the shelf" flatride into something epic! I love this themepark! -

The coaster itself could probably open this Summer, but Phantasialand is special. They would not open a ride without the theming, which will be extensive. Expect a 2016 opening -
Where is Euro Star?

I was at Oktoberfest in 2014 and can guarantee you that there was no Eurostar operating. -
Posts like this bugs me, what rides are faded besides Tatsu and Scream? SFMM basically repainted every coaster the past couple of years, including Viper and Ninja. Scream is next, pretty sure Tatsu is on the agenda aswell. The only "poorly kept area" that would come to my mind is the area around the old Batman Theater, otherwise a lot of old buildings have been refurbished, got new paintjobs and for me the park looks pretty good. Where is "gum all over the place"? besides that one place on Goldrushers lifthill which by now is almost "cult" I know to some it is "funny" making jokes on how "bad" this park is, when in reality, they improved a lot in the past couple of years(at least in my humble opinion)

The local cbs news had a nice Colossus farewell report, most importantly, at the end the reporter mentions that the park told him that fans will be happy with the new addition and it will uses at least part of the old structure. I think this is the first that some "reliable" news confirms a Colossus refurb Here is the video http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/video?autoStart=true&topVideoCatNo=default&clipId=10481475
