  1. Same. This always kinda reminded me of Dragon Mountain's cousin. I'm excited to try this out for the first time this summer! Great pics Hanno!
  2. Mostly no. It's still a possibility for me though, because I am able to flex time, use vacation hours, ect.. but I try and save them up for longer trips. If it were something right up my alley, I will do everything I can to go, but it's highly unlikely for me, so I voted no.
  3. ^I'll trade you Shawn. I'll go in for the kill now!
  4. The food actually looks pretty good. And beer.
  5. Be careful with this information... I can't speak for the Tampa Bay area and am no expert, but Florida is a VERY diverse state with differences in water sources. I'm not saying your information is wrong, but having gone to college in Tampa, and then transferring down to Southwest Florida, I know there are a lot of differences between not only the ecosystems but the land we're on. Gulf Coast vs. Atlantic Coast, North vs. South, coastal vs. inland, ect... It's all very different. That drawing seems too generic to be labeled for all of Florida. Though it's right saying if you dig deep enough you will spring water. I know the Tampa Bay area has been in the news a lot for having a lot of problems with sink-holes, but I can't imagine that stopping them from building a tower vs. a 200ft Dive Coaster. I'm sure the same concerns have been brought up before. This isn't something new.
  6. Thanks for the update. It's interesting seeing so much of GeForce due to no leaves being on the trees. Also, I do not remember that section of the park with the flowers and bugs on my visit last summer. Didn't know that was there at all. Maybe I was drunk. Regardless, thanks for the update.
  7. This made my day (yesterday). Thank you whoever did this. .
  8. Thanks for the updates Hanno! This is an interesting PTR.
  9. Catching up to this thread. I've been leaving eggs regularly in most people's town. I try doing an N in some way... That way you know it's me. Shawn, I sent Lisa to your town without realizing it was doing a hinderance, so I'm sorry. At first I thought it meant I was giving you more snakes... but now I realize that's not the case. I'm still a bit lost as to why Lisa has a negative effect on town. Weird.
  10. I have a lot of eggs now. They're multiplying like crazy. There's going to be a lot of snakes to whack.
  11. I really like the Vine compilation. It's almost like a mini Coaster Expedition with ADD.
  12. I looooved Gwazi in it's glory days. It was a great wooden coaster when it was new. But time has not done good things for it. I've always said I'd much rather have it torn down than a RMC makeover. The land it sits on is a huge footprint, and with the space around it, the potential for a new 'land' or themed area with more than just one coaster would be great! Some flats, indoor dark ride, ect. I don't know how they'll fit a 'speed coaster' on that plot of land though, but heck, more power to them if they can! I'm more excited for something new, over trying to save it.
  13. I've never dated someone who doesn't like coasters... I don't know how I could handle that.
  14. ^ Very much agree. I think this is a very positive sign they're moving in the right direction to restore the park after a few years of miss-management. So, my question is that has it been confirmed that all the wooden coasters are receiving RMC treatment, or just Cornball Express, and if so what kind of treatment is being given?
  15. I, too, am detecting a flaw in your logic. I mean they're trying to cheap out on capital. Are you trying to say they're only investing in their rides just to lower their operating costs but skimping out everywhere else? I think I see what you're trying to say, but their park problems reach far elsewhere. They've been having what seems like control issues that reach back from 2011 (go back in the thread a few pages). I don't think it has as much to do with their capital or operating costs or anything like that.
  16. I love this park. I wish I lived closer to it. Europa and Phantasialand are some of my favorite parks I've ever been to. Thanks for the updates Hanno.
  17. I always loved the color scheme of this ride.
  18. I've never seen that attraction with the lights on!!! Either that's new, or they probably just don't care most days. Either way, that's too funny. I love how they gave you a mini guided tour. Thanks for posting that!
  19. I'm no expert and don't know all the facts, but I feel there's something to be said to the competition in the Orlando area vs. Magic Mountain and Great America being the only major park in their area. I mean, SWO is smack dab in between two other major parks. It's hard to compare those parks' profits. Just my thoughts though.
