  1. To the kids it is.. (because its the only coaster they can ride ) As for ride, Tidal Wave will always be Numo 1.
  2. Well not really considering Oblivion is still a scary ride regardless of Sheikra and Griffin. Its maybe shorter but out of date? Nah.
  3. Drayton Manor has really fallen from grace, this fall has been quite rapid since about 2003. Shame really as beneath the surface is a manager who really cares about the place, unlike the large corporate machines like Tussauds.
  4. It's not really an X-car coaster if it doesn't have the Vertical life, one of the only saving graces on G-Force. Launches seem to be the norm now.
  5. Nemesis Inferno's Zero G-roll is best felt on the Left hand side seats. Its complete rubbish on the Right.
  6. Silverstar at Europa Park is a blatent Car park coaster http://www.rcdb.com/ig1414.htm?picture=35
  7. Colossus front row on 15th march. It then closed for the rest of the day.
  8. Its not that UK park's can't run them its just that Rita and Spinball are low through-put rides, and becuase so many people use the system (by that I mean groups), it means the queue is longer then it needs to be.
  9. Big Apple - Margate Flying Fish - Thorpe Park Clown Coaster- Chessington Gebirgsbahn - Phantasialand Grand Canyon Bahn - Phantasialand Black Hole - Alton Towers Klondike - Drayton Manor
  10. If what people are saying is true it didn't fail, it was just never checked properly.
  11. Nemesis Inferno front row on Wednesday. After riding Stealth front row it feels so lame and rubbish.
  12. Chessington didn't become a Theme Park over night, it took 6 years to get that up to scratch. From what I've seen of Flamingoland, they do seem to making a huge effort with Kumali.
  13. I sincerely doubt that a few enthusiasts have influenced park's decisions massively.
  14. Is that despite 2005 being the most profitable - and highest attendence year since 2000 for the park?
  15. Chessington won't be running any single rider queue's now.
  16. Quite a lot of jobs are just the same thing over and over thing. Unless your extremely lucky to have a job with a lot of variety, something that a job at a Theme Park can be.
  17. If Stealth isn't your type of coaster, Rita won't be either. Have a great trip Blastaman. (Do Thorpe first, its the more depressing of the 2 )
  18. Thorpe Park's is pretty cool
  19. Alton Towers doesnt let re-rides. Thorpe can be very picky (you can stay on Inferno, but not Colossus). I've never known Chessington not to let people stay on. Can't comment on the other UK Parks.
  20. Amacosteur I've had a really bad break in the coaster world. I hope to break 100 this year though.
  21. Not so much a coaster... but I rode Loggers Leap at Thorpe Park for 7 hours. All for charity of course.
  22. Chessington's rule for handicapped people is that if they cannot walk they cannot ride. About the Intamin issue, I agree with everyone else. If there was a large problem with Intamin rides then they wouldn't be running, full stop.
  23. Nemesis Inferno really doesn't deserve to be in this poll.
  24. Same, although I don't loathe it, I just don't see what all the fuss is about. Its definitly one of the better coaster's I've ridden but I do prefer Oblivion, Air, Colossus and even Dragons Fury. I think for me it was that there was so much hype and anticipation for it, something (that for me), it could never meet.
