  1. If loading *was that fast* it could achieve 1200 an hour. Judging by the fact that we know that won't happen its more around the 800 mark. Not much when theres a Beemer just around the corner gobbling up 1200 an hour. Opening day *won't* be as bad as the following weekend. Some surrounding school's will skip school, obviously but not busy busy.
  2. That sim was made about 2 years ago.
  3. 1. Its a park for families. Only 2 rides have a high height restriction, Rameses and Rattlesnake 2. All the coasters at Cwoa are for family groups. This include Adults. Maximum height restrition of 1.4 metres.
  4. Phantasialand's big in Europe but I had never heard about Tusenfryd until they announced Speed monster.
  5. It was a decent enough year. First Coaster - Dragons Fury, Cwoa Last Coaster - Mighty Mini Mega, Southend My best memory was finally after 12 years into coasters riding a wooden coaster... then riding 3 others. Working at Chessington will also stay in my mind for a long time to come.
  6. My B&M and Intamin count is almost equal (currently B&M 4- 3 Intamin) but Intamin is my preferred choice. Out of the 4 B&M's only 2 really made an impact on me, Nemesis and Inferno being huge let downs, while surprisingy i found Air and Oblivion wonderful rides. Batting for Intamin was Shockwave, Colossus and Rita: QOS and after each one I had a smile beaming from ear to ear. Yes they had a rougher edge but they were a lot more enjoyable. Intamin for me.
  7. 1. Not many schools book trips to theme parks in March. I'm sure some do but not many. 2. I doubt schools plan there trips around a new rollercoaster opening. It will be moderately busy, but it won't be packed.
  8. Dragons Fury at Chessington. I would also go to say that Vampire is quite under-rated to.
  9. G Force starts ok but the restraint gets tighter and tigher as you go on. Its perfectly adequate on the vertical lift, its rubbish afterwards though.
  10. /\ You'll be happy to know that on the X Car that bits really good. Unfortunately for G Force, theres about 20 seconds more ride to go.
  11. .......then restarted but threw them back in time to a time when....
  12. Long over-due. I'm sure the Hydro incident 2004 was a slight set-back. But anywho I'm glad Oakwood are now getting it.
  13. Which isn't particularly rubbish considering it does slam people towards to the ground. :?
  14. All I can is ask is why How many times did you get on Colossus in the 2 seasons ? 4 ? I got bored doing Nemesis Inferno 16 times in one day Paul 'Just cant see the point of doing the same coaster over & over & over again" Chapman because its cool to ride one ride constantly for the majority of your visits
  15. Had a shutdown on Nemesis Inferno at Thorpe Park. Stuck next to some chavs for 20 minutes, shouting and swearing at the attendents "Im gonna f$@~~g sue your f$@##g ass" What donkey?
  16. Yes Runaway mine train at Alton Towers. Looking forward to doing it this year for the 3 rollercoasters in Area 2 at Chessington 8)
  17. Last coaster in open season was The Vampire at Chessington. Front row in the dark, very special. In closed season it was front row Mighty Mini Mega at Southend Adventure Island.
  18. And there the coolest 8) Worst themed ride I've ridden? Would have to be Ribena Rumba Rapids. Its nice with all the effects on but even then its just completly and utterly abysmal.
