And if you get any it's ridiculously overpriced, so many people south of Stockholm drives south to the big cheap stores called: Denmark and Germany. Norway is crazy expensive, but their wages are higher. Då är det visst tur att jag dricker inte så ofta. Bara ett glas var Special Dag (Nyår, vissa fester (3-5 om året)). Then it's lucky I don't drink so often. Just one glass ever Special Day (New Year, some parties (3-5 a year)). I'd say, if you can live as cheaply as possible (like the Alveys), then you can go almost anywhere you want. You could even come to Sweden if you can keep yourself away from the liqure for a whole season. /Edward PS. Medelande till alla Svenska YouTubare:

Djurs Sommerland Discussion Thread
Edward replied to Nosferatu's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Heh. An official park uses NoLimits to design a coaster. Interesting. Shame they didn't use any proffesional programs to record it. j/k Meh, when I get NL I'll be recording it with .kkapture. Tried it on the Demo, and loving it. Hey, is that a hint of Jack Sparrow on the background? -
Alot of these seem disturbing. Though the site didn't work for me. I clicked a number, sides went blank, and I was redirected to Nr.1 again. Though here are a few santas I can think of when reading this thing... *grunt* Have you been a good boy? Wouldn't want to sit in his lap. Too cold. Not sure about this one... Don't know if I want to laugh, cry or wet my pants. :S

Oh. Could you do something for me? I just got this funny crazy idea. If you could make 3 pictures of Ryan. All from a Bird's View perspective (same angle). One where he's just standing. Then he smiles. Then puts up a fist straight forwards for pounding. Just thought of a fun, quick, little film clip at this hour (1:00 AM). /Edward PS. What is his favourite coaster type?

Would just like to say... ABSOLUTELY MAD! ALL OF THEM! Btw, the little animation test with the Steel and Spinning coaster. I see you are using No Limits. I know of a Capturing Program you could use to get lag free results at any frame-rate or quality. It's called .kkapture. It doesn't capture sound very good, but I guess you won't be needing that much. You seem to be good at tracking together your own sound tracks. Anyways, loving all the comics. Keep up the good work! /Edward

To stream a WMV, simply Attach it. And as for compressions, if your Windows Movie Maker doesn't give you options as to what quality to choose (160kbps, 700kbps, 320x240 and 44100hz sound, etc), then you'll have to make AVIs. There are plenty of ways to compress an AVI. DivX, MPEG, 3ivx, Xvid, etc. Sure, DivX costs if you don't want watermarks, but hey! Just use something else then. Go for SDL Codec Pack, or K-Lite Codec Pack. And a fair warning: Ask me where to find this and I'll insult your inteligence on search engines. Things like this have been asked on YouTube far too often. "What's a Pram?" "Where can I buy Rollercoaster Tycoon?" "What the hell is Ctrl?" /Edward Ps. Sorry, just a rough day today...

Nice TR. And nice photos. Yeah, I found Jet Line to be rather rough. I thought it to be the fact that it was built on such a small space, like a RCT3 coaster (one car length and Bank!). And Vilda Musen I found to be rough on the unbanked turns, but quite smooth on the banked turns. That last U-turn before the station was smooth, yet felt like it was gonna fall off the tracks. /Edward256

I'm telling you, this world is going straight to hell... In a political basket. Actually, to some children, big dark booming voices can be frightening. Take it from me! I was also frightened of such. But now I find it cool, if spoken in the right way by the right man. Like Dragon Heart, or Yello (Jingle Bells song), or some old wise man (wizard, tree, rockbiter, etc). I wonder, if this gets out of hand, are they gonna dub every Christmas film so that the Santa says "Ha"? Or evil Santa of Futurama says "HARG, HARG, HAARRG!" Lets go with a protest! Everyone say "HO HO HO" as often as you can. They wouldn't fine/sue 90% of a country's population, would they? /Edward

A Day In The Life Of YOUR TPR Visit!
Edward replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Ok. How are my visits? So far so good. What boards do I read first? I take them in order of "interest". Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys Ask Alvey Random, Random, Random - and if the icon says NEW - Theme Park & Coaster Events - Calendar Topics Exclusive Content For Registered Cool People! The Professional Amateur Videographer Forum! How often do I visit? Pretty much every day because when I check my email, I find Reply Notifiers so I click. Then I hit Login and tab the above, and go through the new stuff. How many pages? Depends. First I see if the topic catches my interest. Then I see the first post and see if I'm interested in everyone's post. Do you do anything else besides reading the forum? Not especially... I'm quite split about alot of things so I just read posts, then out. Actually, I'm mainly here to see about what trips or events might happen, the pictures, and vids of other trips and POVs. /Edward -
2008 Park Trip Plans
Edward replied to carolinacaniac's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
As far as I can tell, I'll just be going to Liseberg. But if I go travelling again, I'll let people know. I might hit Liseberg the day they open, unless there is some other event happening at the same time. /Edward -
OMG! Pinball enthusiast? Who, me too? I'm an enthusiast of physics (what goes up, rolls down the rails ). Allow me to introduce to you, unless you already know about it... /Edward

Hosting a Contest
Edward replied to Edward's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
An update. I have chosen a prize, or more... See this vid for details: PS. Elissa is featured at 5:00. -
Almost always middle. Why? Because the queues for the front and back are horrific! Yeah, the only ones I have easy access to and willing to ride are Lisebergbanan and Balder. "Men, Kanonen då?" Öh! Fortfarande åkmes här! Even when I was at Stockholm, I took middle... Apart from the wild mouse, then I took the empty seat that the ops shoved me in. I think it was usually the back. Only time I take another seat but middle is when I'm with friends and they say "WANT THE BACK!" "DIBS ON FRONT"(and I cry "Shotgun!":). /Edward

I play piano/keyboard. How good am I... /Edward the Jarre fan.

OMG! Great Stuff! First thing that comes to mind when I see this is: Theme Park Review: The Movie! Seriously, a great pic. Maybe you should have some coasters in the background (like the Alveys' most farourites). But yeah! I think there should be some kind of TPR Movie made. Scary night at a Theme Park, The Life of Alveys, w/e... /Edward

I'm writing the song "Credit Whore"
Edward replied to BarryH's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
You know, there is this place where you can request songs of various types. SONGS TO WEAR PANTS TO No, really. It is called that. You can request a paid song (as long as you want), or a free song (1min). /Edward -
A TPR Theme Park. Interesting... I would say it would be a Community Built Park, like each person having his own little area with the Alveys overlooking it all. Though, if each person gets his own area, it may have to be built on another planet because I don't think there is any land big enough for purchase for such a thing... Unless we go virtually, like Second Life. /Edward

Favorite picture on this site?
Edward replied to coaster_type_of_person's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I haven't gone through all the pics on this site to actually have a real favourite. I think any pic of Robb doing a grimace or at least on-ride photos (whether he takes it while on a ride, someone else on or off ride, or the ride's photo section) are always fun. -
Hi! I've hosted a Video Contest on YouTube for Rollercoaster Tycoon 3. All Rules and whatnot can be found on the vid and in the description box. /Edward PS. You may post your stuff here as well.

Hi! Just thought I'd share with you a Wooden Rollercoaster I made in RCT3. It was made for a competition on YouTube, but sadly I didn't get in the top 10. But I still want to share it with you guys. Here's an AVI Download on 98MB. Here's the .Oh, and I added a little contest inside this contest entry. I made this into an Intamin Fart coaster, and Those who can guess how I made the "fart" sound gets the coaster. /Edward

Actually that's no dream. That's called an "Outer Body Experience". Congratulations! ;p

The Official "TPR Japan Trip 2007" Thread
Edward replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Does anyone else think that Venus sounds like a Banshee from Halo? Nice pics, btw. /Edward -
Just last night I had an interesting dream. I dreamt that I was at an airport, I think somewhere in Sweden, and around me were TPR members. We were gonna go to some other country (no idea which), and I was talking to Elissa about something. I think I was wondering about money issues or something. /Edward

Celebrities and Athletes you've met...
Edward replied to SixFlagsTexas's topic in Random, Random, Random
Well, nowadays (started about 2 years ago) I meet some famous people once a year. Aka, every Sci-Fi convension sometime in spring. Lets see... 2005: Robert Englund and Kenny Baker. There was also Sala Baker and Jeremy Bulloch, but didn't really talk to them much. 2006: Ray Park, Craig Parker, and Richard Kiel, though he was a little rude. There was also Elijah Wood, but I couldn't get near him. 2007: Billy Boyd and Verne Troyer. There was also Dave Prowse and Robert Knepper, but kinda forgot about them. I would like to meet Jason Carter, or anyone else from Babylon5 (apart from Robert Englund), but I don't know if they'll ever come here. /Edward
