  1. Just saw this on Screamscape: http://www.screamscape.com/html/efteling.htm LINK TO NEWS STORY
  2. ^ I would give them a call, but I'm pretty sure you can check in being 18 here. --Robb
  3. We are nearly 1/2 sold out of tickets for this event! Please sign up soon to avoid missing out. http://www.themeparkreview.com/store/index.php?categoryID=12 --Robb
  4. Again, for those of you who are complaining about the pre-show, I will say it again... The ride has only had people through it for 2 days now. They are tweaking things to make it as efficient as possible. I know they tried at least two different configurations of how to move people through the line yesterday. Give them some time to figure it out. --Robb
  5. The three Disney games I worked on were Aladdin (Genesis), Lion King (SNES & Genesis), and Jungle Book (SNES, Genesis). They also have re-released Aladdin on a number of different platforms since. --Robb
  6. Martin, you need to have this ready for the Deep South trip! It will be soooo awesome! --Robb
  7. I'm going to assume that Evan may have meant every station they do INCLUDING those others with a station fly by. I've been in all the GCI stations with a fly-by and Terminators does seem smaller, but I'm assuming it's because this one was more enclosed than Troy or Thunderhead. --Robb
  8. From the Sky Tower, Terminator really lights up the sky! terminator_fire_big.zip Here's a higher-res version in case someone wants to make a desktop background out of it.
  9. ^ Noted! --Robb "It's all cool..." Alvey
  10. I'm gonna have to disagree with Robb (uh oh... 14 posts in and I'm already disagreeing with the head honcho ). Anyhow... I think those pics are great, especially some of the ones on your site that you didn't post. Great work. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and I encourage everyone to post them. It was not nessesary to single me out that you had a different opinion than mine. A simple "Thanks for posting those photos, I personally liked them" would have actually been sufficient. I said quite clearly "whatever floats your boat" meaning I completely understand that some people will be into those photos, but to me, I don't understand the point. Focus on YOUR opinions of the coaster, the photos, etc, not focus on MY opinion of them. --Robb "It's fine to have a different opinion, but you don't have to be an ass about it." Alvey
  11. ^ It's not. And I saw the same thing you saw...it is just a reflection. Kind of a cool byproduct of it though! --Robb
  12. C'mon guys READ the first post!!!! And for your other question - I don't think they'd want people wandering away from the area but I'd think it would be ok if you left *right* at 10am and booked it over to one of them. You'd still beat the crowd I'd think. --Robb
  13. ^^ I'm not sure I get what you're going for, but whatever floats your boat! --Robb "It's one thing to be different...it's another thing to be different just to be different." Alvey
  14. Hey! Why are you discriminating against Troy??? --Robb
  15. I just want to reiterate what has been said before. This it the opening weekend of the ride. The first time they've put people in the queue. I am *SURE* they will be tweaking the way the queue works based on feedback. For those of you who have actually ridden the ride this weekend, I would encorge you all to post your thoughts (be constructive!) because SFMM's management DOES read this site and will take all of your comments into consideration. I do expect the end result of the ride queue to both give you the experience they want the riders to see AND get you through the line as quickly as possible. --Robb
  16. Thank you for understanding. --Robb
  17. I wouldn't consider that a break down. We were only sitting on the lift hill for about 20 seconds. I thought it might have been an issue with timing. I was with Tyler when it happened. Both times it was a good 10 minutes we were on the lift. --Robb
  18. Yeah, but in all other books, they do count. It's not like they are a powered coaster, or like Knott's counting their water ride as a coaster. They are REAL gravity driven roller coasters, and when the park is trying to target "all audiences" they need coasters for the kids too... --Robb
  19. Yes, please let us know how long the line gets today! --Robb
  20. ^ Yes you are! I do want to say that we have sold 1/3 of the tickets we have available now. So please register soon! --Robb
  21. Here is the "Complete Media Day Coverage" including the entire media day ceremony, more off-ride shots of the coaster, and the complete pre-show. Enjoy! [coastertube]http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=complete_media_day_0yvk[/coastertube]
  22. ^ There is no time limit, but based on the last count I just took, I am sure this event will sell out so I'd register soon! --Robb
  23. I think we are spoiled because we ride coasters like El Toro, T-Express, Phoenix, Expedition GeForce, etc, more than most people do. I got "GCI Airtime" coming off the first drop, over the first bunny hop (under the bridge), and coming out of the first turn around. Yeah, it's not an "airtime machine" full of negative G's, but there are some pops of air here and there. I would say I got as much airtime on Terminator as I did on Kentucky Rumbler. That's at least my take on it... --Robb
  24. ^ No idea...but please report back and let us know! --Robb
  25. I asked about them also. They are/were for the front of the trains but it sounded as though they may have a different idea for them now. I'm sure we'll see them surface somewhere! --Robb
