^ I hope so. I'm very much looking forward to it coming back, but I'm also a little cautiously optimistic about it. -

Sort of hoping the name changes now just so we can get video of this... *Instantly regrets making promise about devouring one's own foot* I hope my big toe tastes like a McNugget when deep fried... Deep fried? We're just gonna rip that sucker right off and you'll eat it RAW! -

You are also forgetting that the game is not done, and optimization is one of the LAST things you do, because if you do it early on, you just need to do it all over again. I remember when we were making one of the Call of Duty games, it ran like CRAP up until the last few weeks of development. If the frame rate is your biggest issue based on an alpha demo, then you're looking at the wrong things.

That is just... I don't even know! LOL

How much fun is the ring of fire ride?
robbalvey replied to Calvin6670's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
What model are you talking about? Do you mean one of the more recent park models? Personally, as much as people gave the parks crap for putting them in (you know after years of also complaining that the parks need for flat rides), I actually like those rides. I think they are fun and comfortable and provide a decent enough thrill. If you're talking the older school traveling carnival model, those seats aren't quite as comfy and it also depends on the group that is setting up the ride. There could be a lot of different variety in those. Hope that helps! -

Dude, New Years Eve WCB. At the stroke of midnight Xcelerator launches with tons of pyrotechnics erupting along the launch and up the tower. Just sayin... I'm totally down for doing it as long as you are willing to pay for it! -

Yes, we usually do. Can't guarantee it will be the same time of year, though. -
Since I know not everyone here checks the games forum, but we probably have many Roller Coaster Tycoon fans...please take a look at this: http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1627253#p1627253 Also, please keep comments, etc in that thread. No need to have two threads about the same subject, but I wanted to alert you guys to this!

Tom just sent me a bunch more photos & an awesome gameplay video! Check this out! I'm honestly shocked...and very HAPPY that Atari took the advice of everyone who posted that the original game looked terrible, hired a new developer, and started making something that actually looks like it belongs in the RCT World! (Get it?) Congrats to them! It doesn't happen very often!

Phoenix Phall Phunfest has expanded to TWO DAYS with the first evening ERT open ONLY to club members! Click for Details: http://www.knoebels.com/plan-your-visit/events/phoenix-phall-phunfest/phoenix-phall-phunfest-submissions~form.aspx Club TPR Members are able to purchase tickets! If you're not a Club TPR Member, you can join here: www.clubtpr.com Check out this email we just got from Knoebel's about this year's event! I just wanted to reach out to provide some info for this year’s Phoenix Phall Phunfest on October 9-10! Something you might notice as out of the ordinary for PPP is an exclusive Friday night event. Because we can’t open this event (which includes ERT on Impulse and light refreshments) to the general public, pre–registration is required for this year’s event. You can find more info and the registration form here: www.knoebels.com/phunfest. Ride packages are available to the general public. However, the Phunfest package is available to only card-carrying members of pre-approved enthusiast groups (which is why you received this email), and add: the Impulse Exclusive Event on Friday evening, two slices of Cesari's Pizza, a soft drink, a game ticket and a Haunted Mansion ticket. We're excited for our PPP friends to experience a fun-filled Friday evening event in addition to the always-thrilling Saturday events, and are happy to answer any questions you or any other members of your group might have! Please feel free to share this information with anyone in your group! Hopefully see you in October! -
