Yep! Playing percussion/drums for 5 years. I love band. I'm in pep band, and concert band (our schools best band) which is unbelievable for a sophomore. I love music.

Those aren't roof covers actually, those are going to actually be the parts of the roof to the new permanent structure they're adding for haunt storage/future haunts.

Ha, I thought you all would find this comical: On March 9th, when the press release was brought up, a couple members from my website started a group called "Save Valleyfair" in order to bring awareness to the public about the possible sale of the park, and now, after only 8 days, the group (on facebook) has over 59 thousand members. Funny how networking can work its magic.

I saw Natasha Beddingfield walking around the park before her show at SFGAM ha.

I don't see why people don't like Mean Streak so much. I rode it 3 times in 3 different seats and thought it was a semi-enjoyable ride. I mean yeah it's not like Hades or Renegade or Shivering Timbers or anything, but still it's good. I mean yeah it's a waste of wood, but still it's better than SOB.

See this is where people have crossed the line: About halfway through the removal process of Geauga Lake, it hit me that this could happen to other parks, such as my home park (Valleyfair). I saw people saying "Ooh I want this!" or "Oh that ride sucks, but I really hope we get this!" and it made me feel sick knowing that the rides & attractions people loved so much are getting tossed around by the enthusiasts like their worthless little trinkets. For Example: If KD just all together announced they were closing forever (not gonna happen) and then people started saying "OH we call Dominator! I don't want King Cobra, it sucks. Maybe we'll get Volcano too!" wouldn't you feel bad knowing that they could go to a park besides your own. I mean I guess this is a moral debate, but for me it makes me extremely disheartened hearing things like this. Plus for all we know, the parks may just end up fine, and not be sold. Who knows, but for now, let's leave this Geauga talk alone & talk about the actual sale. Jeez, when did sale turn into foreclosure.

Agreed ^ The land around Valleyfair is virtually worthless in the current economy, and nobody really wants tons of Flood/Swampland.

Agreed. The land that VF sits on isn't worth much. It's near a river that floods often, there's nothing but industrial stuff & crappy little places up and down 101 for a ways, and it's not like they'd wanna build apartments or anything on it.

Hmm. This is odd. I highly doubt they would do this to either parks considering the upgrades they've had in past years. It really depends on how much Cedar Fair wants to earn. Yeah they would make money off of it, but with growing attendance and parks continuing to thrive from people who live closer to the park than top destination spots, I doubt this would happen.
