Spongebob's Rock Bottom Plunge

Well, at Boomerang Bay (KI), I was waiting for the Flowrider, and this group of about 12 mexicans all lined up right behind me. No problem right? Wrong. They were all wearing speedos, and one of their friends was standing towards the front of the flowrider, so they all figured it was perfectly okay to barge past. With a couple of them being rather large, it was unpleasant with how small the queue space was, and how they not only barged in front of about 25 other people, but how they didn't mind when they brushed against a bunch of us. Made me very angry.

So true I can see it already with the Terminator thread too. I wonder how fast the cycle will pop up once CP announces a new coaster for ______ year.

Well, today I headed out to Mall of America, and since it's not that far away from the mall itself, I decided to head over to VF to see the progress on the wavepool. Too bad it's all pretty much non-existent as far as viewing. I got out and looked around (Didn't go into the private/construction area considering that's illegal, and any of you thinking of doing so to catch a peek at the construction, DO NOT!) Anyway, I couldn't really see much, but it was still nice seeing the park from the highway during the offseason. (Not even a week in ) Anywho, I headed over to MOA to ride some rides and get some clothes. Bought my unlimited ride wristband, rode SBRBP, Splat, Avatar, Fairly Dumb Name for a Coaster, and the Log Chute. I took some pics, and yeah nothin special . . . just enjoy! Woohoo! Hey everyone, We're coding the new version of our site, and there's a couple applications, or parts of our site that need javascript. First of all, I have no idea how to use javascript. I've looked up countless times how to install/use it, but fail to learn (epic fail I know). One thing we need to install on our site is lightbox. A photo viewer. I'm in the process of installing, and I find out we need a stylesheet. I have no idea how to get Lightbox to work, and I have no idea how to make a stylesheet, or how to make it function. If anyone could post a "How to" or something among that effect, that'd be bomb. Thanks all. Peace, ~Vffreak

I heard from my cousins best friend's aunt's sister in law that it could be something along the lines of: Hey it could happen . . .

That's one of my top pet peeves. . . roller coasters that look like other roller coasters that people think they've ridden. I've shown people pictures of V2 and other Intamin Impulses and automatically their reaction is "OMG THAT'S STEEL VENOM!" It annoys me a LOT.

"Heres information about Valleyfairs new water attraction... "Valleyfair has announced a new 350,000-gallon wave pool and other amenities to its waterpark. Earlier this season, the park removed its log flume from the park to make way for the new attraction. Riders over labor day weekend 2008 were treated to their last rides on the family water ride, as it was closed for good on labor day. Since September, Valleyfair has deconstructed the ride, leaving open a giant hole visible from Highway 101 in Shakopee. The New Wave Pool will total 34,000 square feet with nearly 200 feet of “beach frontage” (shall end width) to give guests plenty of space to sunbathe as they watch the waves roll in on the zero-depth entry. At its widest point in the deep end, the wave pool will measure 75 feet. Its maximum depth will be six feet. Valleyfair will also offer cabana rentals around the new wave pool to enhance the guest experience. The cabanas will shelter guests from the hot summer sun and will include food and beverage service. Other amenities that will be added include a new bathhouse with private changing and shower areas, tube and cabana rentals, locker rentals, a new merchandise and new food stand. The addition of the new wave pool and other amenities will bring the waterpark’s size to just over seven acres, which is almost double the size of the existing waterpark. Also new in 2009, Valleyfair will change the name of it’s waterpark to Soak City. Whitewater Country, as it is called today, currently offers guests body and speed slides, a family rafting ride, and a raging rapids whitewater rafting tube ride. They also offer a splash station for the youngsters. 2009 will also bring in the start of Valleyfair’s 33rd season, beginning in May. The complete 2009 operating schedule will be posted on Valleyfair’s website in the near future." We'll have coverage at VFZ of the full announcement when the official press release is made. Props to Coaster Karma! I've never heard of the site actually before today.

I like the look of this. I just wish the cars were like Atlantis Adventure's. I like those short cars better. It makes it look like a shoot-the-chutes mixed with an intamin. (But if you picture it like that, that'd be a Mack, so I spose it's actually like a log flume boat on an intamin)

I doubt it'll take up the whole length of the site, but ya never know. I actually would prefer it'd be on the medium size end so there's more room for expansion. New pics: Valleyfairzone.com

I'm glad we're finally getting an upgrade. It's much needed. Also it looks like we're getting cabanas. We've been told that the expansion will be announced on October 15th. Ugh, another 10 days. It confuses me how they aren't announcing it until then, but many people have already heard radio ads, and there are ads in the park itself. I'm disappointed.
