  1. Looks even more fun than before! I'll hafta make a trip out there soon to ride it.
  2. I'd have to agree ^.KD has no chance of getting it. Sorry for all the KD fanboys out there, but considering you got Dominator last year, doesn't look like it'll happen. Not true at all. Renegade was a major coaster yes, but it only cost around 7 million. Ya know how much Diamondback cost? $22 Million Dollars. Will Valleyfair get a 22 Mil. dollar coaster? No chance. Could it possibly be theirs though? Maybe the rumored invert that's been due since before Renegade? I doubt it, but it's still a possibility. As far as other parks, no way is CGA getting anything. Nothing has been rumored, and if anything, they'll get that GCI coaster they were supposed to get last year. Carowinds IS a possibility however, mainly due to the fact that they recently removed their log flume with no explanation as to why, AND the fact that there has been proof through documentation that they'll be receiving a coaster for the 2010 season. If I were to bet money on where it's going, I'd say just another park that's not in the states.
  3. Sorry for the double post, but I figured I wouldn't let this thread die! I went to the park to get my processing done for this year. I got a platinum pass, and let me just say, they look great! For all of you who have no idea about what's new to Valleyfair this year, let me sum it up for you all! -Food: There will be all new food choices this year! Cinnabon, Subway, and the retheming of Atomic Subs will make the food lineup fairly grand for once! -Shows: A couple new shows will be brought into the park this year. Solid Brass on the Gazebo Stage won't be returning, but something similar will. In the Galaxy Theater, Chipper Lowell is out (Thank God), and a new magic/comedy show will be put in as well. The Benchwarmerz (roaming midway band) will return this year, as well as the Squiggles in Kidworks. -Rides/Attractions: Breaker's Bay, a 350,000 gallon wavepool is replacing the Flume which was located towards the back of the park. With the expansion of Breaker's Bay, Soak City is nearly doubling its size. With the Wavepool, new Cabanas, a new merch shop, new locker rooms, as well as a new eatery entitled Beach Bites. Lots more things are happening this season, and I'm very optimistic that this season will be a great one with the expansion of Breaker's Bay & Soak City! Enough blabbing, onto the photos! *Photo above caption, caption below photo* Off in the distance . . . Wild Thing's lookin nice! Steelie. The actual train was on the track, just not the seats. Kinda naked ya know... There's the new bathhouse/changing room area! I'm going to the Pre-Opening Day Saturday event (the park opens on May 19th, a Tuesday this year), so I'll post some photos for that when that comes along! Hope you all enjoyed the update! ~Vffreak
  4. Hey! Here's a challenge for all you so called "Music Genius's" http://www.well.com/user/bryan/waltz.html
  5. I go to Nick Universe about 2 times a year, Valleyfair about 20.
  6. I don't think High Roller really has a "Ride Sign" but then again I can't remember. I'll check come Tuesday the 19th. MOD EDIT by larrygator: Sure let us know.. Once someone confirms that a ride sign does not exist I remove it from the need list, thanks.
  7. Didn't you listen? "Get it in the can, Get that ball right in the can, YOU CAN DO IT MAN!"
  8. *Looks down* Aaron Carter
  9. Godly! Can't wait bro, this looks great!
  10. Nice! It's finally coming to life! I can't wait to see this pup in action.
  11. In the words of Brian Fellows, Great work! Keep it up.
  12. Arnold Palmer (Arizona Tea) $1.06
  13. Brand new flowriding site if anyone is interested: http://flowboarding.ning.com/
  14. I applaud you! That looks absolutely fantastic! The color scheme is flawless.
  15. I love Jr. Wooden coasters. They're so small & fun and yet so awesome! I've been on 4, and my favorite is Zach's Zoomer at MIA. Such great airtime
  16. Is your coaster count at around 7?
  17. Haha someone should buy it... It's like that one episode of that one show.... yeah.
  18. I felt the exact same way my first time. There was tons of people watching. As long as you just stay straight and upwards, then you're good! Better than the people who jump in at a weird angle & wipe out right away.
  19. I don't know how many people here flowride, but it's one of my favorite hobbies. I don't do it very often, but when I do, I can ride for hours. I go to my local waterpark, Waterpark of America. They have a flowrider (generic split) and it's decent. I've been to a couple different places that have them. Hershey, Waterpark of America, Boomerang Bay, and the Kalahari. They're so addicting, and I love em to death. Does anyone else here ride? Also as far as tricks, I can do a superman (no hands), turtle shell (put the board on your back, ride on your stomach), barrel roll, pushaway (push the board, have it come back to you), I can carve on my knees, and do hops (little jumps in the air). What about everyone else?
  20. There's one I took of Renegade from the Employee Parking Lot. Sorry for the bump but I love this thread.
  21. Here's mine, it's a tad small compared to the original which can be found here: http://www.valleyfairzone.com/image/Wallpapers/renegade1.png
  22. 17/20, and I'm proud to report I know 10/20.
  23. Ahh the good ol' days of the mighty axe. I remember those. Flipping upside down at the start & holding the riders there for a while, seeing cell phones plummet to their death. Waiting at the top, flipping upsidedown once and then going around and flipping upsidedown at the bottom while still rotating. I remember that. Good times good times.
