  1. Yep! We'll have photos & a video next week!
  2. Nope, no announcement has been made by the park.
  3. They simply moved a kids ride over (Blues Ski-Doo's). It fits right into the area. Perfect size!
  4. More photos, taken today by Vfhauntfreak on Valleyfairzone: The Main Frame has gone up More Scurvyness Brain Surge will be the first of its kind in the U.S.
  5. I'd rather have those than real OSTR's. No complaining here.
  6. It's been confirmed that the Bumper Boats are being removed for the 2010 season & will be relocated to a different Cedar Fair park.
  7. Here are some photos courtesy of Valleyfairzone -
  8. That's what people have been saying . . . I guess we won't find out until it's announced though!
  9. The new ride will be a first of its kind in the US.
  10. How does the whole ball thing work? I'm confused. If it's like a giant water balloon, they'd have to clean up an awful lot of balloon scraps
  11. I'll be working at the 5th annual Halloween Haunt at Valleyscare this fall. I can't wait! It'll be my second year.
  12. ^ - Since KD won't, Good luck funding that buddy.
  13. Nice TR! I always love waterpark trip reports.
  14. I think Andrew is hilarious. The whole religion & politics aspect & POV from everyone will definitely mix & make things interesting. I started watching last season during Cancun & fell in love with the Real World.
  15. Either Knott's or SFMM for me. Can't decide!
  16. Nahh, Valleyfair has the worst waterpark in the entire CF chain. It's like Cedar Point's minus the kids area and about 8 other slides. Anyway, staying on topic, anyone else see this as being beneficial to parks expanding? For example, more money = more expansion (like parks that need it like MIA, I know they've wanted to expand along that long stretch of land beside Wolverine Wildcat).
  17. If so, VF gets dibs on the Tornado/kids area!
  18. Knotts is going to be the place to be once they get all the rides from the seasonal parks. I HIGHLY doubt that would happen. Considering CP is one of Cedar Fair's most successful parks, and considering how many awards they have won as well as their reputation in general, it's highly unlikely that that would even be considered. As far as other parks, it could happen, but still, unlikely.
  19. CEDAR FAIR AGREES TO BE ACQUIRED BY AFFILIATE OF APOLLO GLOBAL MANAGEMENThttp://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1669629#p1669629 http://www.cedarfair.com/ir/press_releases/index.cfm?current_root=15&mode=story&story_id=210 Press Release: From the Sandusky Register: I don't know whether this is good or bad so all the smart ones up in here will have to clue us in.
  20. ^ - Wow, fail, you get the idea haha. Thanks for the advice!
  21. Howdy - So I'm going to be in California from December 26th-31st & I'm going to hit up Knott's & SFMM (Been to both before, Knott's in 07, SFMM in 03). I was just curious if anybody here knows if it's usually busy at SFMM around that time of year/post Christmas. I'm not worried at all about Knott's because I've ridden everything there except for X2, Tatsu, Deja Vu, Terminator, and Superman. I have a couple quick questions: 1.) Should I get a flashpass/gold flashpass (depends on crowds which is mainly what I'm curious about)? 2.) What's the best day to go between the 26th & the 31st? 3.) Are there any rides that are expected to be down for maintenance at Knott's or SFMM during that period of time? If anyone can help out it'd be much appreciated! Peace- ~Vffreak07
  22. Um I won a bag o' crap. Even worse I opened it & looked through all of the crap. It was quite a journey.
  23. I work in CarnEvil at Valleyscare. I've won scaractor of the night 2-3 times & I've perfected the art of scaring people to the floor. I love my job thoroughly.
