^I agree. I understand what you're saying. I tell the same thing to people. I was born in Bosnia and lived in Germany for about 5 years, moved to the U.S. when I was 6, so I know enough about both ends. Drinking here is huge among teenagers. In Europe it's nothing...really. Here people say. OMG Oktoberfest and all that beer! Over there, teens are more interested in rides and attractions and spending time with each other. That was just an example, but it comes to prove that people live their lives differently in different places. We can't compare two countries and say something is "odd" or "weird" when in that other country, that would be considered totally normal. I know I'm going off on like ten different tangents, but whatever. We can't judge what's right and wrong in different countries, because all it is, is a simple opinion of our own, or even what we've been trained to like and dislike to due the way we were brought up/taught. I hope this made sense. I typed it while singing to "Downtown" by SWV so it might not have made sense in some places. lol

Whoo hoo. So no more closing one hour prior to the normal park closing? -

Uh, yeah, this is NOT the place to discuss Trip Reports. -
I have no trouble keeping the images in their default format and then hosting them on tinypic.com Don't know about everyone else. 8Carspertrainer and Son Of Beast Trainer are "hacks" made into easy-to-use programs for us to enjoy and "tweak" the game. Very useful. After playing the same ol' game for so long, people start looking for new things to do within the game, and these trainers were, by far, a brilliant idea.

Very interesting looking coaster. Seems like Millenium Force meets Maverick, or something. -
I'd definitely like to see the music show up in the station, however, I doubt strobes and lasers would make it in, due to the risk of epileptic people having seizures. Whatever they decide to do, it's clear they're not giving up and they're not lying. Progress is visibly taking place and I have no doubts they're trying to get SOMETHING innovative to work out in the long run.

It's common sense not to have a bathroom in a queue...it would be considered line cutting when you came back out. By standing in line, you're committing to standing there just as long as any other person waiting to ride. Many people don't consider saving a spot in line "cutting" or line jumping. I saw this happen in line for Sierra Sidewinder at Knott's. Ugh.

Regardless if Sandstorm is old, overplayed or whatever, it still pumps up the energy on the queue. Besides, Scream never has a long wait, so why bother complaining when you know you won't be waiting long. When they had "rockin'" scream, that music was rather different. It'd be interesting if they brought that back. Looked like a cool idea. I don't expect to see, or in this case hear, a change in X2's new station. I assume it'll have the same music it had before. Even then it was hard to hear the music because of everybody's chatter, and during the summer when the fans are on, it's nearly impossible to hear the music...unless the fans are always working...

Great photos! Really gets me excited because I'm supposed to be going to Cedar Point for the first time ever this summer, that is assuming I get a job soon and make some money! -

Great PTR! SFNE seemed to have some great flats in the past; too bad they didn't run that often. Weren't there rumors not too long ago about S&S coming in and attempting to create new restraints for Catapult? -
The bathroom and the kitchen itself would take up more than half of the level, also, since they cannot be placed in the center of the tower. (the hyatt revolving restaurant in downtown phoenix is an example of a successful restaurant [and it revolves!]) basically, it would not only look tacky, but very limited in space. So as far as being a restaurant, very unlikely it would happen, but opening up in a future time is definitely plausible.

As much as I love the music idea on X2 (or any coaster for that matter) I fear the loud techno-like music might not work out due to sound complaints. Magic Mountain is open up to midnight during some summer evenings which would prevent the music from playing the last few hours of operation. Here's a question I haven't yet seen asked. Will the X2 queue also close an hour early like X did? Or?

Before I post the update, I'd like to say that I'm not too pleased with the lack of feedback I've received. I see that this thread has been viewed well over 1000 times yet only 18 or so posts, some being from me. I'd appreciate if I could get any feedback for the work I do. I'm not asking you to praise or scold it, I just want honest opinons. SCR12.BMP Last but not least, Dream World opened Thunderbird Raceway, a popular Go-Kart track. The winner of each round even gets an extra lap around the track SCR11.BMP Another view of the giant tower. It appears to be secluded from the rest of the park, but in reality, over time, other rides will fill out the park, making it smack dab in the middle of the park. SCR10.BMP Pictured here is the Tower Of Dreams. Guests will enjoy a quiet ride to the top of the 200 foot tower where they will witness some of the most beautiful views of the park and surrounding areas.
