  1. No beer? Count me OUT! Hopefully you'll be able to find a shower somewhere before the shoot! I'd hate to get stuck in the station or on the ride with some nasty, sweaty, dirty people stinkin' up the ride In all seriousness, this is an awesome idea!... It's too bad that I live so far away, otherwise I'd totally go!
  2. I'll be at Great Adventure both Friday and Saturday. I'm driving from Michigan with a buddy of mine from Ohio for one quick roadtrip before I start school in May and go broke for the next 15 years. I can't wait to finally get back to Jersey!!! If anyone wants to meet up, PM me. Edit: I'll definitely have a camera on me, so I'll post a PTR.
  3. I've ridden all excepting TBird and Rumbler (obviously), and Thunderhead is by FAR the best. I absolutely adore Lightning Racer, though. It's just FUN! There really isn't a bad GCI.
  4. Ariel of course! How could you NOT want the wet half-naked chick?! ... Then this is a coaster board.... nevermind
  5. ^ IMO, most large parks need these! Cedar Point, Great America, and Magic Mountain especially. The title of this thread scared me for a minute...
  6. ^ S&S Towers do not depend on gravity in any way. As for me, well... A coaster is a coaster if it's a coaster! Simplicity is the key here I think
  7. ^ Since when has So-Cal not been an earthquake prone region? What happens when Mt. Fugi erupts and melts down all the rides?
  8. I didn't know you guys got a picture of my car and the shopping carts!!! God that was funny. Best spot ever! Edit: Satan's villiage? Nice
  9. Two words... Strap on.
  10. Nope. The race is just the launch. If your car can out launch a freakin' rollercoaster then you KNOW it's fast!
  11. Greased Lightning. Overall, SFKK's ride lineup isn't all that impressive, but Greased Lightning is probably my favorite of the bunch. It also helps that you can literally race the ride from your car... Especially when your in an '03 35th Anniversary edition Camaro and win
  12. Is it really nessassary to spend all that time at the fair and BGT? What I'd do is this... Thursday - Fair Friday - Fair (if nessassary) and BGT Saturday - BGT (if nessassary in the morning), Sea World in the afternoon, and Old Town at night. Sunday - Universal There is easily enough time there to hit all the parks and attractions you want, with breathing room... Plus with the Annual passes, it's really, really cheap. Busch offers a pass for like 10 bucks a month that will get you into Sea World and Busch Gardens for a year. That's like less than a weeks worth of change for admission to both parks!
  13. The exit Seriously now, I think my favorite SFMM coaster is probably inbetween X and Flashback (seriously)... Although - excluding X - SFMM's collection isn't all that impressive.
  14. Just for the record... It's spelled with 2 N's.
  15. No.
  16. ^^ They better be ready for SRM (or whatever its called) cause I'm so wearing it.
  17. I may be in the minority here, but I count relocated coasters. It's a diffrent experience to me, and that's all I care about. Plus, to be honest, I don't even know what my track record is anymore.. I stopped counting in 2003.
  18. ^^ You guys don't really drink either. It's sad to hear that PI might be closing down. I always stop by for at least 2-3 nights whenever I'm in the area... More if I'm staying on Disney property since I won't have to drive back to the hotel
  19. ^^^ Um... No? Great Adventure doesn't draw those kind of numbers. As for Dorney being in competition with Great Adventure... It really isn't. They're target audience is completely diffrent. It's like saying Great Adventure is in competition with Wildwood or Seaside which is absolutely rediculous.
  20. I totally agree with Elissa here. I've never had a bad visit to SFA. Honestly the toughest crowds are probably at Great Adventure. Being located in Joisey inbetween Philly and NYC doesn't exactly help. Don't get me wrong - Great Adventure has a lot of really great, awesome guests who are friendly and are there to have a good time... But once in a while there are groups of people just looking to cause trouble - and considering the parks location, it can't be all that suprising.
  21. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
  22. Hasn't been announced yet. Keep checking the Six Flags site for updates. This year the park opened the last weekend of March, so it should be around that time next year. Now if the new ride will be opened is a whole 'nother story...
