Your least favorite Walt Disney World ride and why
Fry replied to a topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Out of the major attractions Snoarin' at Epcot was the worst. Just, dull really. Then, Small World, Maelstrom and Honey I Shrunk the Audience. -
Gwazi is horrible. Not only is the layout awful, it's SO rough. El Condor. Three words- First ever SLC.

You must have ridden a different Stealth to me. I hate the launch, crappy, and all the Top Hat does is hurt my back. Bad Intamin, bad. But, glad you enjoyed Thorpe, if only I knew your secret.

NEW Bubbleworks at Chessington.
Fry replied to martinb's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I rode it in May and thought it was OK. I rode it yesterday and, it's awful. The noise of it all is just horrible. Burn it. -
Best and Lamest Coaster "Ending"
Fry replied to Teddymonster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Best: Goliath, WW. Three amazing airtime hills, followed by the ground-hugging S-Bend. Everest. Yeti. 'Nuff said. Vampire's clsoe to the ground swing-fest is one of the highlights of the ride. Worst: Corkscrew, Alton Towers. Pointless trip around the whole ride. Montu's is quite bad after the MCBR. The Ultimate's 'monorail' section is disappointing compared to the insanity of the rest of it. -
What is the best coaster in your home park?
Fry replied to MattJackson's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My home park would be Alton Towers. The best there is Rita. -
What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?

Reaper, Drop Ride to Doom! (or whatever it is...) at the Amsterdam Dungeon. It's like, IN a church. -
Your favorite coaster tunnel
Fry replied to chavslayer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Did we ride the same Colossus? Oblivion's tunnel is amazing, so dark and dank. Sheikra's is quite cool too, as is Hulk's out of the loop into a sheet of mist. Do un-underground tunnels count? If so, Hulk's launch and Xpress' launch tunnels are VERY cool, each make the launch feel that much better. -
I'd rate the Towers I've ridden in this order... 1. Tower of Terror, MGM. 2. Hurakan Condor, Port Aventura. 3. Mystery Castle, Phantasialand. 4. Detonator, Thorpe. 5. Apocolypse, Drayton Manor. 6. Doctor Doom, IoA. 7. Space Shot, RIP, Southport. 8. Ice Blast, Blackpool. Also.. Oblivion holds you like, 70ft in the air But, the drop is better then Sheikra's. Lack of hole takes a lot from Sheikra's.

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
Fry replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Uh, Rat Ride at Lightwater Valley about three weeks ago now.... Oh well, Intamin Mega goodness soon in the shape of Goliath -
Yeah, I went there in... 2002? It was a really nice park, one of the nicest zoos I've been to. Shame the credit wasn't there then

Coasters you have been on that are gone now
Fry replied to pkdcoaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Black Hole at Alton Towers. Mini Apple at Alton Towers. All the coasters at Southport. Log-related-coaster-one at Gulliver's Land Milton Keynes. Flying Fish at Thorpe Park (until 07) Clown Coaster at Chessington. Klondike at Drayton Manor has moved. Bigger then I thought, 11? Also, soon-to-include Python over at BGA. -
I LOVE Master Blasters. I was fortunate enough to get 15 consecutive rides on Crush N Gusher at the end of the day, after a huge storm at about three. It's so odd, yet amazing to get brilliant airtime on a Water Slide. I can't remember which, I think it was Banana Blaster but I can't be sure, had a really good drop which went into a tiny trench, and I got insane airtime. I really should head up to Alton's and try it out.

Most forceful coaster you've been on.
Fry replied to kingdanny's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Probably.... Dragon Khan, it's just, well, insane. Or.... The Ultimate at LWV. But that's more death then force... Montu was quite forceful, as was Hulk. So, yeah. -
Pleasureland Southport to Close FOREVER!
Fry replied to ColinM's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This REALLLY sucks. I only had my first visit, what, two and a bit weeks ago, and I thought the place was brilliant. Some real classics, some real horiffic contraptions, but the place was such fun. King Solomon's is INSANE, Traumatizer is a load of fun, and smooooth (for a Vekoma), Space Shot is brilliant, they had a ROUND UP, that instantly made them rock. Ugh, smelly Amanda. I'm sooo glad I got the credits and got in the Fun House. That was an absolute BLAST. The WHEEL! The Tunnel of DEATH! It was fab. -

They had closed off the second car of every train when I rode EE as well. That was... July 20th? Funnily enough, it was just after a breakdown... Sure didn't help the 2 hour line though! -
What is your favorite Roller Coaster?

Followed by... Followed by... -
I still found Gwazi to be death, that was just over two weeks ago now, so I guess the retracking didn't do it's job for me . I'd ride it once, it's an experience to say the least. Not one I ever want to repeat, mind. There wasn't a Single Rider Queue for Sheikra either, but I didn't need one, the main line was only 10minutes at the most. Anyway, I'd ride front on your first ride, it's stunning. Then, back *thinks*, right. Coming off the Immelman is insane and you feel like you're going to smack into the MCBR. The back also has the best , so make sure you ride there at least once. It looks really scary, but I didn't find it as bad as I thought it would be. I HATE Oblivion's lift hill with a passion, but Sheikra's didn't really phase me.

We have more screens... Most of these are just teasers of the other coasters that are in the park. The oldest ride in the park, this Mobius Woodie was built in the image of Nash, there's also a Twister section that was added to the ride in 1991, but you're not seeing that treeless. They also have a Batman: The Ride, which is very different to others, but shares the theme of a Mental Hospital with the Madrid version. The central area at the end of the "Main Street" Superman: Ultimate Flight. Again, different to the other versions, but also similar. And finally, the Station/ Entrance area to the Water Coaster, themed to a highly original, Atlantis. Again, enjoy.

Yep, another project that I won't finish and probably won't ever update again... . This time it's a Six Flags-esque park. It's supposed to be the nicest of the Six Flags parks, and I have gone overboard on the Water Coaster (which has no screens as there's something I'm trying to hack onto it to make it very special and cool). Anyway, the first screenie is the Intamin Accelerator, Renegade (original or what?). Anyway, it's sort of styled to the Wild West, but not. Just look... You can see the station to the right and the main area of the ride everywhere else. It's not finished, but I want thoughts before I get too far. Next, Goliath (again, original) the park's B&M Hyper, which runs along the back of the park, a little ala Nitro, but not really.... This is only the station (ala SFOG's) and the end, again I don't want to give tooo much away. Not all of it is finished again, namely the overflow queue at the left. Uh, enjoy and if people comment, you'll see more.

I really like the idea and would certainly go for the bendy boat. They are very cool and especially if you have drops, they also make it wetter. I'd certainly recommend the bendy boats.
