  1. I really hope it opens before July, I really want to ride it, and it's the ride that gave Cali the edge over FL for me... so I really hope that it opens before then :? .
  2. Homer: Oh Lisa, there's no record of a hurricane ever hitting Springfield. Lisa: Yes, but the records only go back to 1978 when the hall of records was mysteriously blown away.
  3. G Force at Drayton Manor on Saturday. And ow, does it hurt...
  4. Drayton Manor is about 40mins away, and the three Tussaud's parks are each and hour and twenty away from me. But, the very closet parks to me are Wicksteed (30 mins) or Gulliver's Mitlon Keynes, at about 30 mins as well.
  5. Launches for me. Then ejector air, then floater. Launches are so much fun, I really hope more and more launches appear in this country.
  6. ^Rita does actually have huge amounts of air time though, so I'm quessing that's why it has them. I love them as far as OTSRs go. Lap Bars would have been better, yes, but they are probably the best OTSRs I have ever used.
  7. "God's watching me do number two? Oh man, I'm a sinner, and God's a pervert. "
  8. I'm currently on 65. That'll go up by one tomorrow, with G-Force, and then stay like that until I visit Cali next July.
  9. "You know those Germans; if you don't join the party, they come get you. "
  10. I'm glad you had a good day there, my trip yesterday was awful, nine rides all day... Also loved the video, great editing in that.
  11. Like the Alton Towers new ride? A Simpsons area would be great, but maybe just a TV land, with a Simpsons ride, a Futurama dark ride...
  12. Yeah, the graffit is a pain at PA, so are the queues and organisation. The coasters and rides are great though, and I'm glad you enjoyed them.
  13. Best- Rita Queen of Speed I really really want to do EGF, and SROS although I also really want to do X, at least I'll be doing one of them (EGF or X) next year.
  14. Um... Thorpe Park x 5 Chessington x 2 (again this weekend) Alton Towers x 3 (again the weekend after) Port Aventura x 7 Phantasialand Drayton Manor x 3 (again the weekend after that) Blackpool Pleasure Beach x 2 American Adventure (yawn, lol) Blackpool South Pier That's more then 3 times the parks I did last year...
  15. Here is my entry, Calamity Canyon Blaster. Also, I love the candy one. s TPR entry 3.SV6 The Entry Overview
  16. I'm a lot like that, so much to the point I get asked everyday if I'm gay, at which I say no, although I am...
  17. It's about 20 miles from Derby to Alton, and about 2 miles from Tamworth to Drayton.
  18. The Blackpool Mouse is the first and last time I've feared for my life on a ride, it's insane. Especially with just a seatbelt, it really is insane.

    German Parks

Next year I may be doing a quick tour of Germany and was planning on hitting the following parks... 1. Heide Park 2. Holiday Park 3. Europa Park 4. Phantasialand 5. Movie Park I was wondering if there are any parks I shouldn't miss out on, or some of those which I could leave. Also, will a day be long enough for all of those, baring in mind I've done Phantasialand already and would only be going for Black Mamba. Thanks.
  20. 1. Rita: Queen of Speed, Alton Towers. 2. Oblivion, Alton Towers. 3. Hurukan Condor, Port Aventura. 4. Dragon Kahn, Port Aventura. 5. Stampida (Red), Port Avnetura. 6. The Big One, Blackpool Pleasure Beach. 7. Winja's Fear, Phantasialand. 8. Space Mountain, Disneyland Paris. 9. Winja's Force, Phantasialand. 10. Nemesis Inferno (much better then the original in my eyes), Thorpe Park.
  21. Hi, I've recently developed a love for this sadly, unoperational attraction at WDW, and I was hoping that seeing as I'll never ride it, some of you could help me out on the story, what it's like riding it, what happens, capacity, on-ride vids... anything! Thanks.
  22. Port Aventura without a doubt. It has excellent thrill, themeing and family fun. After that it's Alton Towers, but that's not as good as PA for me.
  23. *Best new for 2005 ride: Hurukan Condor *Best wooden: Stampida. Honourable mentions to Grand National *Best steel: Rita Queen of Speed *Best park: Port Aventura *Best water ride: Tidal Wave at Thorpe Park. Honourable mentions to Tuttuki Splash at PA and Professor Burb's Bubble Works at Chessington *Best flat: Hurukan Condor or the insane afterburner that came to my local fair.
  24. Darn, I'm going down on the tuesday and won't have the cash to go again. Ah well, next time. Robb, word of warning, Colossus has not aged well at all, prepare for lots of head banging.
  25. Dragon Kahn is great at night, with strobes on the wingovers, it's crazy. But, the best is Hurukan condor at night. The view is so cool, and dropping that far in pitch black is awesome.
