If lightning is within so many miles, some rides will shut down, when it is really close all rides will shut down, atleast that is the policy at Holiday World. I am sure they got detectors to detect how close it is and when they need to shut down.

soft opening is, as Fmulder said, openign something to the public before it opens. MM had one, Disney rides have them. Just means, there maybe delays if they need to fix something.

I will second the Midwest trip comment, I enjoyed updates. And about the on ride photography, I wasn't being mean, I was just wondering.

Nice pics, last night my mom asked me, "do we really need to go to CP? Couldn't we just go to HW two times!" I went to my local fair on bracelet day on the last day, and everything was a walk on. And I would have done more, except I did ION and that ruined my day.

1. Keep the updates coming, I don't care who are in them, I like to see them. 2. At IB, I didn't think cameras were allowed on coasters, because I had seen a sign at all the coasters saying there weren't. Or was it allowed because you had special permission. 3. If all photo TR's from previous trips didn't do it, these def. made me want to go on a trip sometime. The texas trip sounds like the most affordable one, if you do it. I wish I could have meet up at IB or HW, looks like you all had fun.

This was the same fair that came to Terre Haute, except with a few more rides than what we had.

If it is the refillable one. I taken mine to SF STl. When I was at the park, they advertised bringing it back. And quite a few people did. And it's not they like they rape us enough on food prices.

I like both, but in the first one, with the band playing, was the audio bad? Seen them playing, but would have been nice to hear them too. I use Avid Liquid 7 at work. At home I got some crappy software that came with my video camera. I have only done one video, but the video it does is pretty nice. I wouldn't dare take it on coasters or anything right now since it is a brand new 400 dollar camera.

I paid 70 for 3 park hoppers in march (connections). Geez, If I ever go back to Disney, I will have to pay full price and be broke.

I am personally hoping for a raven and legend walkback next year at hwn, because the voyage one rocked at hwn. I love how everyone here loves hw, but on one of my car mb, they were like HW sucks, I would rather goto kings island.

well, it is partly believable. the one at SFOG was originally set to go in at SF STL, but plans changed, also, it is supposedly to be in in 09. As for a employee comfirming that, I don't believe, but I guess we can hope.
