If anyone wants to car pool to Kings Island, I take I 70 to 465 through indy to 74. If I go alone, I have room for 3. I plan on going on the weekend after opening weekend. Can't wait to ride all the coasters there.

This looks like those things they put in pits to enforce the walls while they put in pipes or something so the dirt doesn't collapse while working down in it.

Free Agency is about to begin. As for major moves....Marvin Harrison has been realeased by the Colts. Jeff Saturday is exploring FA. Also, Hunter the Punter Smith might be saying bye to the Colts. But Punters are a dime a dozen and if Peyton is like he was in the 2006 season, they are not really needed. But I wish the Colts could get the Bionic Leg punter from San Diego though. As for Harrison. He is a good player, but he is getting older. For the good of the team, he should have taken the pay cut and finished out as a Colt. I don't think any team will offer him more than what the Colts were offering. But that is the nature of the business. As for Saturday, it would suck for him to leave, but if he does he does. Younger players are needed for the Colts offense. The defense was one of the youngest defenses in the NFL. No matter who leaves, I still believe the Colts are always going to be a great team under Manning. For other teams, Big Al Haynesworth is up for Free Agency. The Jets released Coles. And the Jags released Fred Taylor.

Where I live is about 300 feet away from an airport where student pilots fly. When they land, they fly about 20 feet above my house, sorta scary.

I can only speak for what I know. The dark ride is on site at CLP last I knew. I believe Greg Sutterlin purchased it. It is not put together though.

On another forum I visit, one of mods on there (who is friends with the owner) (I am friends with him too {the owner}) is constantly posting about legalizing weed. I am not going into if it should or not on here, but I don't think it should. Anyways, he constantly posts on there about legalizing it and it is starting to annoy me (news articles about people who are famous using it, articles saying that it isn't as dangerous as other drugs, etc.). Of couse the owner thinks it should be legalized also so it will continue to be posted.

Funny you should bring up the best wooden coaster. while waiting yesterday, someone said they wished KI would get a good wooden coaster so people would know what a real good wooden coaster is instead of the Beast.

ACE held thier winter meeting (I suppose midwest region but I don't know). I found someone who would let me go as thier guest and went to see if it is a club I want to join (for going to coaster events). With my car needing an oil change and tires, decided I would rent a car. Much to my surprise, I wanted a Malibu (expecting an 08) but got an 09. Talk about nice, I don't want to return it. Anyway, when I started to leave the rain changed to snow. Great. Final shot. These are not my best, but the conditions were bad at best. I would have taken more, but I left early (after I ate) and I had a lense fog issue in my small lense. Sun came out. Lift hill shot again. I spy game. I spy a TPR member and tpr hand outs. Nobody has this shot, This is the first time it has ever been taken. Been a awesome picture if the tree wasnt' in the shot. This kind of park would do well, imho, in the town where I live. We have a public pool, but it is open from June to August. I have wanted to win the lottery to put one in here. The closest water park to Terre Haute is a small neighborhood one in Plainfield, IN (50 minutes away), then there is Holiday World, an indoor water park in Indy (requires Hotel stay). My park I dream about building has a wave pool, a couple slides, and a lazy river. EDIT: Forgot, there is a community pool that is in the northern part of the town.
