Europa Park Discussion Thread
spaceace12 replied to Ultracoasters's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This image sorta funny to me, I seen all kinds of heavy equipment, but never seen a back hoe (track hoe or whatever it is ) with wheels instead of tracks. Awesome pictures. -
What is going on in schools today? I got this comment on one of my youtube clips. Run on sentences, no capitalizing, and just bad grammar. I sure hope this person is under 14.

I got to get a background check and give it to the vol. fire dept. and then in the next business meeting, I get voted to be in in or not. Sounds like I will be in.

So I was going to put up photos, but something went ascew with the memory card and I lost all the pictures. Anyway, lets do a text part. The roller coaster slide....is down for the week. I should have went to the water park hotel in Indy if I had known it would be down. Fort Mackenzie: A multi level play area with two slides. Great for kids, okay for adults. River Canyon Run: A family raft ride. Fun, I like it. Crooked Creek: Lazy River, didn't do it, just your typical lazy river, but it interacts with the slide tower slides. Coyote Cannon: I believe this is the bowl slide. I guess it is the single raft, but this thing is fun and fast. Alberta Falls: I believe this is the series of three slides. They are fun and fast and have minut air time at times. The Hot Tubs: I really want a hot tub now. The Wave pool: I like it that they allow tubes in it, other than that, very weak waves. Over all: If the roller coaster slide was open, would have been worth the 190 dollars plus tax a night. Still worth atleast 100, but not full price as that slide is why I came. Still nice to get away. Even nicer is the 2007 Mazda 6 rental I have since my Malibu decided that something would go wrong. Automatic and a manual tranny. I have used the manual part a few times. -
Just so you know, we are discussing football in this this thread.

Bump, happens Sunday morning. Spring Forward. Now my clock on my car radio will be correct again as I don't know where the manual is to adjust it. -

I believe they tried to model it after one, but back when the others were built, safety wasn't exactly the most important issue. -

I am wanting some more snow like this. We had 10 inches about a month ago, I had bald tires and was pretty much SOL on getting anywhere in the deep stuff. Now, I have brand new tires I want to test out. -

They are just a bag of Frito chips with taco meat, cheese, lettuce, and whatever else you put in tacos. -

Which Six Flags Park should they keep.

Poll should allow for more than one vote. There is more than one park they should keep. -

Ha, didn't even see the name of the jet ski. I took the picture because it is a turbo'd jet ski. The 3 wheeled cycle is a Cam Am Spyder. Sorry,, not in english But that is not the best one there is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38TFetQAe2o&feature=related -
I was terrified of flat rides, log flumes, and anything else that wasn't a wave pool or lazy river until a few years ago (yes, I was 24 when I first rode anything that I can remember). I first got on Liberty Launch at HW, then eventually over the next year, rode all the rides at HW I could. So, yes, it is all different since I wasn't afraid of them.

To the locals of KI, besides heading to Diamondback first thing when I visit, what rides should I try to run to? FoF? Or will I even have to worry about lines since I will be going on April 25th (weekend after opening?) -

I should have shopped around, If I had waited a week and went to Kalahari in Sandusky, it would have been 100 dollars cheaper and they have a flow rider. There is always next winter. I forgot Kalahari even existed since there was a GWL there. -
Sorry man, I haven't been able to give anything. I had to put some money into my car.

Holiday World (HW) Discussion Thread
spaceace12 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Just thought I would pass this along as it is something new for 2009. The lady who took care of the flowers at the park retired. She was still working and driving herself to the park at age 98. http://www.holidayworld.com/holiblog/holiblog.html I hope I still am working at age 98. -
