A five dollar scratch off lottery ticket. Won 100 dollars.

Man, the powered coaster league is crazy right now. Two people tied at 1 with 7-4 (leader would have been 8-3 if I hadn't handed him a painfull 50 point loss). Then 3-5 at all 6-6, Big Mike and Myself included. Might have to start playing Rivers in a few weeks, sounds like the Colts might be resting players....

Once the game is over....I will celebrate. If yesterday proves anything. A team like the Colts or Patriots, 2 touchdowns is not enough lead. But Go Saints. -

He isn't....oh crap. This is the first I heard of him, Who did he play for before? I just assumed he was since he has a dropping tendacy. EDIT: I guess you can say he is a rookie. Not technically, but he was drafted last year, but didn't play any and was a back up and never was on the active rooster. Which explains why I never heard of him. I usually never pay attention to the draft because unless it is a big pick (like Donald Brown this year) it doesn't get me interested. -

And ND blows another one.....Actually had a chance to win it in regulation and fumbled. Then shanked a field goal. So much for the luck.

Hey, a couple weeks ago, a facebook friend messaged me and wanted to know if I wanted to go to the 49'ers game at Lucas Oil Stadium.....for free. Who am I to turn down free tickets that start at 80 dollars for the cheap seats. Turns out these weren't cheap seats.....They were 30 yard line, row 15, sec. 115. When I found that out, I just about went crazy. I only took my little camera when I found that out. The forecast was for a high of 50'ish and sunny.... They had the roof open! And it was cold inside. tunnel the Colts run out of. Not as big as the Cowboy's monitor (who am I kidding, it is no were as big, it is like Jerry Jones is making up for something!!) Here comes the Colts. The man with a laser rocket arm. Not so much this game though, or the next two games after this game. Pierre Garcon....one of the best rookies out there, but I might be a little biased.... Adam V's temp. replacement. NFL on Fox on TPR Game time....Colts on Defense. One of the last few games that Bob Sanders would be playing this year.....errr. One of two games he played this year. Mr. Glass broke again. Stadium, Stadium, Stadium, 49, hut, hut, hike. Peyton doing his thing. Rare Rare Rare Bob Sanders on the Field sighting. Give Peyton the amount of time and you get him looking for targets. Addai trying to run it.....Donald Brown is a better runner, Addai is better as a check down reciever. Colts scored something, kick off time. Two Bob Sanders sightings....OMG. Row 15.....that is right. Colts mascot Blue on a dixie chopper. Colts cheerleaders did a tribute to Michael Jackson. Colts were down most of the game.... another super rare photo....a self picture...I don't do many of these. And yes, the hoody was needed, actually more. The hoody was all I had. Reggie Wayne Know what this report needs....more Cowbell. BTW, game was a day after Halloween The go ahead play was a touchdown pass, but it wasn't from Peyton Manning. Peyton handed the ball off to Addai who ran left. He got to about the line of scrimmage when he stopped. He put his the ball in his left hand and threw it into the endzone to REggie Wayne who caught it in the end zone and smartly got two feet down before going out of bounds. At this point, game had about 2 minutes to go and SF was going no where. They needed four points to tie, but ended up going for it on a 4th down and didn't get it. Colts Downed it. I left early to go to the pro shop to try to get a 10 dollar hat that they were out of already. Chopper. While waiting for my drive, seen two cars I liked. Black rims, black top, black paint, black leather interior, black interior trim. Nice. The mass exodus begins. Can't really tell, but Joeseph Addai was behind us as we left town in his Escalade EXT. Final picture isn't from the game, but as soon as I got back to town, my friend dropped me off at church and I left for New Orleans not to be back home for a week. -

About two days into my trip I had already decided that I was not done coming down. I plan on coming back in the spring with the church again. Once you go into New Orleans, it gets to you......Well, the spring, winter and fall are fine, summer with 100% humidity and really hot temps are what I wouldn't like. I really can't wait to go back....plus my camera had some dust on the sensor so some of my pictures were messed up to my standards. -

Umm...yeah....Holy crap, what a game. I was about to put the writing on the wall for the colts at the end of the 3rd. But knew the Colts always find a way to claw back or die trying. Luckily this time they didn't die trying. -

On a message board, this was posted. I am glad the Bears lost for the one super fan I work with. He said they were going to win out and make the playoffs. I had to laugh at that. He was serious. Sucks for the other Bears fans though. -

I think the GP doesn't really follow this, unless the ride sucks really really bad, the GP doesn't care. Example. When I went to Kings Island this year, the first time, Son of Beast had a 45 minute wait. The second time I went, it was closer to an hour. I honestly can't explain it, SoB sucked but people flocked to it. On the HW side of things. I think the water park draws in just as many people as does Voyage. A hot day in the water park means hour wait for most slides. This is the reason the wp is expanding as fast as it is compared to the dry park. -

Last post, not as long picture wise.....These are homes that Samaritans Purse has redone. Montanna Home This home has no owner. SP bought it off the city. They will put a home owner in it at some point. This isn't an SP home, but I liked it. It is a modular style home brought in in 4 sections. Another home with no owner. Part of my group worked on this home at one point. This is the home of a founding member of Franklin Ave. Baptist Church. When she returned to New Orleans, she was in the church so much the joke is that she wore out her key. Seen this somewhere on the way home. I did not use all my photos, so here is a link to them all. http://s25.photobucket.com/albums/c71/spaceace12/new%20orleans%201/ -

The first day down there, I made a comment about this home. It looked like was about to fall down. The second day of work, on the way there, we heard banging. A group of workers literally was taking the siding off and fixing it. By the end of the week, they had sheathed the side and back side and wrapped part of it. This is the home that isn't even empty. The last night in the town, some of us went into French Quarter to eat. I of course took some shots. I had catfish, it was really, really, really good. Beignets....really good. I loved the French Quarter, all the architecture, live music, open air cafe's, and just the French Quarter. Me in front of CAfe Du Monde.....my camera sucks at dark. St. Louis Catherderal. Church we stayed at. And a few homes aroudn it. On the way home, over Lake Ponchitrain One more to go.... -

Being up at 5:30am gets some good sun rise shots. This is where we took showers, the shower head was about my neck level. Other homes in the area I worked. This was a common scene. A nice renovated home next to a abondoned or gutted home. This was a home behind the home where I worked. You can barely see the search mark on the roof above the attic. While doing something off site we passed these. These are the Florida Ave. Projects. They built these to replace some rundown projects for low income housing. They opened 3 months before Katrina. This is how they have sat since then. Another couple sunrise shots. This was the chef for the organization. He was awesome, he worked for Carnival cruise lines The chefette The whole group of 42 people working that week. Hey, it's Ponch. Our group plus some more. Ms. Helen and her home. Ms. Bundy's home. Inside the home next to the one I worked on. I got more coming. Need a post break.
