Am I the only one to notice this?

There is one for Disney's California Adventure. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=39458 -
I sold my car (01 Chevy Malibu) due to the lower intake manifold gasket going again for a third time. My only vehicle now is my Jeep. Last weekend I went to the Badlands in Attica, IN. Wasn't able to do much there, but did play around in the quarry. Anyway, some updated pictures. First off, Fresh wash and wax today. Also, took out my amber lense colored side markers and bumper lights and put in clear lenses. A night picture. Now some Badlands pictures. I attempted this wall. due to street tires on the front instead of all terrains, I failed. and backing down I did make it up another wall that wasn't as steep, but no one got any pictures. I did get stuck on the top of the hill and had to back down there. Now for some other Jeeps on trails. Creek driving. The pumpkinator playing. Wasn't part of our group, but here is a junkyard toyota. Literally, the guys dad owns a junkyard and he built this with scrap in the yard. A very capable Jeep Cherokee leading us in the creek. I like this picture A lightly modified YJ. A shot of me playing on the sand dune. Looks little, but with the rain and loose sand, it required 4lo to get up.

Erik, I request a Gatorland TR. BTW, great thread so far. Enjoyed the other thread as well. Shared it with a friend who was down there last year. -
Photo TR: Troy in HDR
spaceace12 replied to hyyyper's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I love HDR.....the only thing I might have done different is change the color temp. a little bit to warm them up from the grayness they are. But have fun with HDR, there is so many different settings you can do with HDR. What program do you use to do the HDR? I use Photomatix Pro 3, and it is awesome. -
I have only had this laptop a week, so I haven't had time to change the background....some Windows 7 goodness.

Actually, coasters with steel rails on wood structure are 100% wood coasters...Again the structure has nothing to do with determining the type of coaster...In reality the only true hybrid coaster that I am aware of would have been Son Of Beast...The loop was all steel making it a coaster that had actually wood and steel tracking according to the definition...However, it's not to say that the definition will one day change..But as of now the new TG will be classified as steel...Also, I believe it's going to be a very good coaster and if it works their are many coasters out there that should have this done.. I respectfully disagree, there is no wood track at all on this coaster. So, by your definition of a coaster, it is def. a steel coaster. Also, rcdb now says TG is a Steel coaster now.

SFNO/Jazzland Discussion Thread

I love the style pictures taken, they are HDR photos. You don't know tons of light to do these, just an tripod or a camera that does HDR photos inside the camera. The one I like the most is the ferris wheel with the red sky. New Orleans has some amazing sunrises and sunsets. -
Whatever happened to Megazeph and Twisted Twins Gerstlauer Trains??? I hope they don't plan on putting those old style ones back on!! The new Gerstlauer trains on Mammut were okay, but I can't imagine them on a coaster as big as Texas Giant. The Megazeph trains went to SFSTL in the 07-08 off season and Twisted Twins trains arrived sometime in May or June of 09. All the trains were scraped for spare parts for the Boss. I was really hoping that SFSTL would put different trains on this ride because it would be so much better than the Gerstlauer Trains. I'm not sure how true this is but i heard the Boss tested with the Screaming Eagle trains because the Grestlauer Trains had not arrived yet, and ran for Them for Media Day. I heard the story from people who worked at the park then (from a fan site). Apparently, the G trains stalled and they removed them and put the PTC's on from Eagle for media day.

Bought a new laptop and it came with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. I am taking it to work to have a co worker load a full version of office and a full antivirus not the trial version that came on it. Then to start loading the programs I have on my current one. Hopefully anything I have loaded on my vista laptop will be good for my W7 one. The old one is going to my sister since she doesn't an computer. If it lasts a year, then it will be good, then I will probably get a gaming/graphic intensive desktop again.

I think that solution is far gone now......I think even if the KSFB accepted SF offer, I don't think SF would accept now. The only way I see another park in KK spot is for another operator to run it. As for what is left on KSFB property, what SF put in that is transportable (correct me if I am wrong) is Greezed Lightning. And I don't see GL being moved again by SF unless they sold it to someone. In the end, my theory on what will happen is. Six Flags will not be back in Louisville. They will either win the KSFB lawsuit and not have to pay a thing for Chang and anything else they have removed or they will have to pay for damages. As for the land they own, I could see them holding that land for a while just be a trouble to anyone who wants to take over the property.

Talking to a co worker at my part time job, he worked at Disneyland until a few years ago as a painter. He retired and moved here to Indiana. A neat thing is that Disney gave him a pass that he can get him and 36 other people in to any Disney park a year. I found my way in if I can get to California soon as he is moving back there. He worked there as an painter (not a painter as in wall painter but as in artwork). He moved here expected painting work to be pretty good. I guess it isn't as he is moving back there soon. He applied to be an artist again. I guess he expects the work to be in the renovation, if he gets it. He has already painted about 7 murals inside the store already. Here is his newest he is working on. He is painting scenes from all the colleges in town. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=5180580&l=977c0e4ed1&id=503881000 One he painted is a farm scene and on one of the cows, he has a hidden Micky.

Like brand new coasters and not to name it anything with the words Kentucky Kingdom in the name. The only, and I mean only, way I would ever feel the need to go back is if they got some nice new coasters in. But you still have to cross that stinking bridge just to get to the big rides area with a water park in the middle of it. A word of advice to anyone who trys to make that park nice, put some signs where the bridge is. They might have been added since I been there, but I couldn't find it at first.

I bet the Saints don't make it to the SB next year. I bet they maybe get 10 wins. I don't know how many back to back SB appearances or wins happen, but it seems to not happen very often. -

Here is some random thoughts on the game. First off, it was a sad/happy moment. I am sad the Colts lost, but also happy for the City of New Orleans. I spent a week down there and will be going back in April to help rebuild. The town is a great town. And I didn't want them to win because of Katrina. I spent time down there and loved the town. Some of the officiating was bad, but nothing as bad as any previous games. I will still wear my Colts gear with pride. 15-3 is still better then 30 other teams. In the end, the pick 6 was the death of the season. With an uncapped year, be ware, Colts will be back. Even without an uncapped year, Colts will be back. 11 years getting into the playoffs with number 18 at the helm rocks. Here is some random thoughts on the game. First off, it was a sad/happy moment. Won't be on much tomorrow. Between the two church services I goto, a birthday part, and then the Superb Owl party after my even church service. Hopefully I will be making a run to JC Penney's tomorrow night to pick up some Superbowl Champs gear after a Colts win. -
Called a local McDonalds and they are not doing this....sad.
