  1. ^The fact that no one on this forum has posted about the park opening (or knew) isn't a good sign. I haven't seen a single advertisement that the park had opened here in Knoxville and the last thing posted in this forum was the park was being torn down for a religious attraction. Pretty strange that they would "quietly" reopen.
  2. ^Aren't you coming overseas before then?
  3. Thanks for the report. Had the kiddie coaster opened yet? Looks like they have had trouble getting it to open. Edit: I have reading comprehension problems. Just saw where you posted about it.
  4. $2.65 by my work.
  5. The only thing amusing about Ghost Hole was the animatronic violently vomiting into the toilet out front. Or maybe that was Spook-A-Rama, they both kind of run together in my memory bank. Great TR as always, Chuck!
  6. Yeah, those aerials make the park look like a cartoon. So much color in the desert, looks great! Congrats on a successful first season!
  7. I really enjoyed it as well. I thought it was a great premise for a movie, and although the acting was a little off at times, overall I'd give it a solid B.
  8. ^The park will make it work out. The height was already determined since it is the same one that was at Celebration City, will see if they can lower the height requirements with modifications. Either way, it will give the older children something to do while the family is playing in the new area.
  9. ^First of all, the Wild Adventure's Double Shot has a 48" height requirement, so there is nothing set in stone that they have to be 52". Second, the park is billing everyone of the new rides as a "Family Ride". So, yes it does matter. The point I was making was not to get into the semantics of whether this ride should be classified as a family or thrill ride, but that a shorter version of the S&S Double works better for this new area and will be less intimidating to wider age of riders.
  10. No need to clone it. I am sure they can use the same height and track length and come up with a variety of layouts.
  11. ^This is what I am wondering about with my 4 and 5 year old.
  12. I'm impressed with the Baymax costume! The blinking was very smooth looking almost like an animation. I am really going to have to see this move soon.
  13. ^Same. News on this park has been quiet over the last couple of years, would be nice to get an update.
  14. Out of the parks I have been to the ones that have stood out are Dollywood, SDC, Knoebels and the Disney World parks.
  15. For sure, I will be going to Dollywood. It's also looking like I will be doing a big Disney trip with the family in the fall. Beyond that, I would love to make it back to SDC but nothing else is really planned.
  16. The whole area is intended for families, so it is supposed to be shorter than their standard towers to accommodate more ages.
  17. ^Agreed. I think we can all safely assume we will see 1 or 2 more of these nationally in 2016/2017.
  18. The Chauffeur - Deftones Awesome cover of the Duran Duran song.
  19. It's strange that I have big square cleared out on my game, but I can't build on it. Anyone else seeing the same thing? Also, I noticed they added a nuke button, which wipes your entire town clean and puts everything in your inventory.
  20. Hexagram - Deftones
  21. Just applied the update, nothing has triggered yet of course, but we now have a few plots of land that have automatically cleared and you get free clams for watching a couple of American Dad clips.
  22. Thunderhead wins the State of Tennessee for me.
  23. ^Agreed and speaking of Blur... Coffee and TV - Blur
  24. ^Same! Post some video if you have it, would love to see more.
  25. That had to be quite an experience! And like what was said above, I would of been just fine with the safety of watching from the ground.
