Heide Park Discussion Thread
brossa replied to Sebbe's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Well I think it still looks amazing compared to other rides at Heide Park. Also it's still the best themed dive coaster yet. I think the water looks amazingly real and the mouth still got something frightening whether you go through it or not! -

What's your favorite Flat ride?
brossa replied to FlyingScooter's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
When I was younger and carried smaller balls with me it was definitely Sky Trip (on german fairs) but the baby industry would go bankrupt if this ride was popular. ... I actually now have changed and rather go on rollercoasters where I used to prefer flat rides like Take off, Booster or Shake when I was younger! -

True, I was surprised that I didn't notice any breakdowns on Stealth yesterday. Colossus was down for about 15min around 2ish. I honestly would have loved to test Storm Surge and regret queuing 45min for X No way out instead haha! -

Theming? Sorry mate apart from those 4 pipes between station and canal there's no theming. Those buildings around the ride are toilets and stalls which have been there before! -
Thorpe Park Discussion Thread
brossa replied to Rooey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I also was there yesterday! It's waiting time was 60min + so I didn't test it. I have been on 3 water slides of such kind and would defenitelly have queued that long for the one at Hansa Park and Parc Asterix but Storm Surge is just too short and not themed at all that it was just not worth waiting. Thorpe Park to me just got more and more rediculous over the years (too small in size and not enough rides to house this amount of people who daily visit the park) The only reason to visit Thorpe Park is Colossus. -

What?? Does that actually mean they use a part of polynesia for the new children area? The area around Waikiki was the nicest of Polynesia, that would suck big time if there was suddenly a childrens area in the middle of a jungle.... -

Worst Coaster Experience

G Force at Drayton ... the restrains got tighter and tighter during the ride that I had problems to breathe - and had to queue nearly 2 hours for this experience of suffocation lol -

brossa replied to pkdcoaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Not many so I thought I might as well post some pictures to make it a bit more interesting. I however did not bother listing tiny family coaster Tornado Walibi Belgium Boomerang, Karolinelund Loopen, Karolinelund Kæmperutschebanen, Sommerland Syd Bat coaster, Nigloland Cop Car Chase/ Lethal Weapon Pursuit, Movie Park Germany Gebirgsbahn, Phantasialand (it's exactly been 10 years and 4 days since it burned down) Sierra Tonante, Mirabilandia (a shame that it was torn down, I loved it!) Pegasus, Efteling Corkscew, Alton Towers King Solomon's Mine, Pleasureland Southport Cyclone Pleasureland Southport -
Anyone else prefer Vekoma SLC's?
brossa replied to jmccalip's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I like SLC's and Batman's - if I however had the choice of either rideing a SLC or Batman I would go for number two!
