  1. For me EASILY Riddler! It's an awesome coaster in every way... there's even great air in the back!
  2. In about 4 minutes they're doing a show on the otter cam... just use the drop down bar and watch otter tricks... awww. The OTTERS RULE Ghost
  3. Good news: I'm "playing hooky" from acting tomorrow! Bad news: It's cause I feel like crap. My stomach hates me for some reason.
  4. My eyes may be missing it... but Carsland is opening next summer.
  5. I wish this was a forever flavor. I know theres a separate thread for it... but COFFEE is my beverage of choice usually. I drink it like a bit** though and like it pretty sweet... although when I'm sick there is NOTHING better than a fresh cup of black coffee... yum!
  6. Cj Morton I love myself... totally wanna see if someone buys this!
  7. You're best and worst are good... but a few changes! Best steel(s) Xcel and Cali Screamin is BY FAR the best family coaster I've ridden... AWESOME Worst steel is boomerang... Jaguar is kinda meh... but it is sorta fun, but boomerang will try to KILL YOU!
  8. Lionheart: A Gravity Group model that uses a lot of modern technology but also follows some of the traditions that originally made CCI famous in the coaster industry... aka a twisted out and back coaster... coming soon! NoLimitsSimulator 2011-08-31 22-47-18-16.bmp Some parts hug the ground! NoLimitsSimulator 2011-08-31 22-47-47-53.bmp 90 degrees! NoLimitsSimulator 2011-08-31 22-48-23-86.bmp Helix... pretty fun!
  9. What are the chances this will be open for bash? It said Spring and I'd love to give this a try considering thats the next time I plan on going to SFMM it would be AWESOME to have a ride on this, gl, and Road Runner express so I can whore. This looks AWESOME though!
  10. Scream I dont want to say officially... but I'm pretty sure this is the main entrance SZ. The infamous Ghostface Killer from Scream 4 is on the lose and may be right behind you -- ready to strike with his razor-sharp blade! Zombieville England area Feel your stomach churn as you encounter a decaying English village, ravaged by the walking dead. Breathe in the foul stench of decay as the corpses of butchers, barbers, and yes—even senior citizens, reawaken in search of satiating their hunger for human flesh. The Reapers Lower lot The Grim Reaper and his evil minions of death have been unleashed upon the Earth, equipped with mutilating chainsaws. There's nowhere to run or hide; death lurks around every corner! Klownz New York Murder and mayhem reign as an ultra-violent gang of clowns take over "The Big Apple." These psycho circus rejects are armed to the teeth and hell bent on destruction…yours! Now that the Klownz have come to town, the city will never be the same again! Freakz France area A renegade band of out of work sideshow performers have set up camp on the smoke-choked streets of Paris. With the Freak Shows shut down and food in short supply, the Freakz have developed a taste for human flesh! If you venture into their camp after dark, you may not make it out alive! A few repeats and the THIRD YEAR of Freakz... but last year was my first HHN and I found it to be pretty solid and seeing as 5/6 of out mazes are original and a new TT I see no reason for complaint as year after year the Knott's scarezones rarely change. Klownz is back as well and I liked that one also! Reapers is kinda interesting though... I don't know if I like them with chainsaws and scythes would be MUCH better... but I didn't like the saw pigs... so this is better. Zombie zone is solid and will be fun since I love zombies. Another thing I'm wondering is if one of these scarezones will overlap into Wild West Streets or if that area will just be a dead zone. They learned their lesson with La Lorena in the scare zone, but it seems to me that I'd rather have La Lorena then dead space...
  11. You've obviously never been to Orlando's HHN before, have you? I personally haven't but one of my best friends has been many times and I get the same thing from him every year. The event itself is awesome... the detail is better than you will find anywhere and the atmosphere is better... BUT(this is the big thing) he said that the mazes in Hollywood are scarier as a whole. I understand it is AWESOME to have such a HUGE event and I realize how much creativity goes into making 8 unique houses and scarezones and I applaud them for that. But Horror Nights Hollywood made a HUGE leap this year with Alice Cooper and La Lorena... both at least semi original concepts as they don't necessarily follow a specific film allowing John to try some new things. Lastly I have seen footage from HHN Orlando 2008 from inside a few of the houses and while the actors are doing a good job jumping out that seems to be kind of all they do. At HHN Hollywood last year for example Jason ran out of his hiding area and charges at you with his machete... he doesn't just pop out but instead interacts with the "audience" and it is this regard that our event seems "better." That is not saying if someone offered me a ticket I wouldn't jump on the next plane to Orlando ASAP... but based on observation and from what I have heard it seems to me that HHN Hollywood offers better "scare for your buck"... but lacks the space to pull of an event as impressive as HHN Orlando.
  12. Still Ghostrider. It still has some fun airtime, but the park is not only letting a WORLD CLASS coaster get incredibly rough, but they are actually making the overall experience so much worse. The f###ing block break(which has been universally hated) doesn't do much... and I'd rather have ejector air and essentially the same amount of roughness than no air what so ever. Also @ WCB they said it wouldn't be retracked... but I still think it may happen because grizzly was retracked and that is another rough woodie in the chain. As of now Six Flags is using topper track very well... and if this ride is smooth again it is an automatic jump to my #1 because the "original" Ghostrider is my favorite coaster of ALL TIME! It is now not even a shadow of what it was!
  13. Cool logo... but when I heard the name(before seeing a picture) my name jumped to bees or something like that. Personally the current color scheme(and the name stinger) reminds me of a stingray... but I will admit I like the logo and do kinda see how some people say the ride looks like a scorpion.
  14. Tangled was MUCH better than expected. I was kinda against non hand drawn pixar films for Disney... but if they are as good as something like tangled AND if hand drawn continues at least partially then I fully endorse 3d animated Disney films pertaining they are Tangled quality! Awesome flick!
  15. I'm in... just bought tickets for me and 2 guests... can't wait! Just out of pure curiosity does front of the line work for Sleepy Hollow Mtn(log ride) or Invasion from Beneath?(mine ride) Not a huge deal either way, but that would be VERY helpful to know because these can get pretty crowded.
  16. Meh... Hollywood's sounds better IMO. Ha... I didn't realize, but if you count the terror tram as a maze you guys only have one more than us. Kinda curious to see where the REALLY COLORFUL demon pics are part of though. Also kinda surprised none of this seems to have to do with chance... but I could be wrong.
  17. As everyone knows already HUGE Disney fanboy here... but even they make some mistakes... like Rocket Rods. Rocket Rods was just a bad idea on all accounts due mostly to Disney being kinda lazy and trying to use an entirely new ride technology on a track originally intended for a slow moving ride. It opened for less than 2 years and arguably has had downtime than pretty much any other major attraction. Like every Disney fanboy has once said... "Stupid Eisner!"
  18. I win the thread with this one! Yesterday at Knotts we were in the line for Jaguar. As we were following the clearly marked que a lady is walking the wrong way(towards us as opposed to the ride) and says "this is the wrong way... it's an exit" and in a way she was right... there was an exit... if you chose not to follow the lit path and take the left turn next to the exit. Long story short she convinced the rest of the line they were going the right way, we kept going, we took the front row.
  19. ^ Sadly I kind of have to agree. The BIG DRAW for the Haunt event is the VIP show and front of the line passes, which(as far as I know) work as many times as you want. Also knott's has a LOT MORE than HHN in terms of houses and things like that... 2 being relatively low capacity rides... just a lot more IMO for the price. Also not to be totally cheap, but Knott's is also slightly cheaper with all the extra perks. For now I can't do this because financially it's either the Knott's event or the HHN event... and for Knott's I feel like I will be getting more bang for my buck. I ALMOST ALWAYS go on killer deal nights as it is... and most of my friends will not be willing to pay around 100$ for a night at HHN.
  20. Some lady asked a CM(at the entrance to DCA) if "Carsland will be open today"
  21. I am buying tickets tomorrow as soon as I deposit my money into the bank! Can't wait... this sounds GREAT and I skipped haunt last year, so it's like I'm doing 6 new mazes... which I technically am!
  22. TPR Windseeker shoot! The bad part is I need to wake up in 7 hours cause I need to leave around 5:45! The good news is that I get to go to Knotts! YAY!
  23. That was weird... did a post just get deleted? Dinn... hmmm... This IT WAS at Tivoli Gardens as Slangen(so it is defunct), but is currently at Dippie Doe family park. That was actually pretty damn hard! OH YEAH! It's OFFICIAL!!!!! Mines obviously picture 2! Have fun... y'all know the rules! I WIN!!!!! Heres mine! Play!
