Best and Lamest Coaster "Ending"
rollerboy replied to Teddymonster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I like Colossus's final heart-line roll onto the brakes, it's well hidden and is very close to the floor. It's a shame you have to go through four in a row before. Kinda kills the magic of the last one. -

I think you're all forgetting this is his second coaster. Nolimits is extremely hard to get used to, especially when you're new to the game. The ride: A great improvement from your first coaster. Remember to try and make your brake runs straight. You can do this by highlighting the segment and pressing "I". Also, I find it easier to split the lift hill segment into three; one sloping in, one perfectly straight and one leading into the drop. Just remember to use the smooth tool (highlight the segment and press "Ctrl" and "G" at the same time) effectively. Last tip: Try making elements yourself. After all, practise makes perfect. -
Photo TR: A Jiggidy Mid-America Adventure
rollerboy replied to Erik Johnson's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Can we got off this Prowler debate? It seems it's going nowhere. Back on topic: I loved the TR Erik! I really need to come to America to ride coasters. -
Coolest station you've seen

SAW: The Ride. They've done a great job with the theming. Sadly, I have no pictures. -

Alton Towers Discussion Thread
rollerboy replied to Ed's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ Yeah, but we still don't know what type of coaster it's going to be. For definite anyway. I'm pretty excited about it. I hope they do as good a job as SAW with the theming. It really does make the ride an experience. Edit: Just realised we said pretty much the same thing. -
Alton Towers Discussion Thread

^ Correct. That was approved a while back now. Construction's looking good. I really like how much they manage to keep it very secretive. -

The "Preview" Thread

^ Agreed. That looks amazing! -
Oh dear god no! Isn't that like, illegal? I sure hope you're joking! Me: 1. I've been hit by a car. 2. I LOVE to sing, though I suck at it! 3. I am moderately scared of roller coasters, yet I LOVE them. 4. I've been to a lot of countries. 5. I've been to Australia by myself twice, I'm 16. Pretty lame.

Eh? The link isn't working for me. Anybody know where I can find a working one?

Rampage [NL]

^ I agree with Monkey. Just remember to angle your station downwards. That would kill the need to use kicker wheels. A good, solid, fun ride. 9/10. -
Customer: MCJ09 I'm led to believe the "J09" stands for June/July 2009. Maybe that's when the track will get shipped. Just a thought.

^ Yes I guess it would. Though I think I'd get banned if I did actually just do half a post each time. One post to go! Though I'm not going to post for posting sake.

It's my 1000th day here! Hopefully I'll reach 500 posts today too.

What Ride makes you Nervous the Most?
rollerboy replied to Thrillrider15's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yeah. That's the scariest ride I've been on! When I ride a new coaster type I'm usually a bit nervous. But it usually turns out fine.
