  1. Mind Bender @ SFOG. Amazing ride (and my personal favorite), despite the fact that it's 31 years old.
  2. About 4200 on my iPod and 4450 on iTunes (some of that is my dad's music, which is not for me.) But, I haven't put any CDs on iTunes since June, so I have about 200 songs waiting to be put on the iPod. Most have album artwork, correct titles and artists. I need a new iPod, my 30GB is almost full.
  3. Age: 17 Middle Name: Kyle Pet Peeve: Grammatical errors (your instead of you're, stuff like that) Color of your bathroom: light tan Best Movie of ALL time: The Triplets of Belleville. Don't know why, I just love that movie! Best Song of ALL time: Too many. Best TV Shows: Top Chef, American Dad Favorite Band/Artist: August Burns Red/Owl City Favorite Ride at Disney Parks: California Screamin' Yummiest Ice Cream: Birthday Cake! If you could eat lunch with one person, who would it be: Adam Young. Morning Person or Night Person: Morning. Pets: My dog Ginger, a chihuahua-rat terrier mix. She's actually very cute! Favorite Color: Purple Where you would go for fun (not an amusement park): One of my friends' houses. Coke or Pepsi: Diet Dr. Pepper. Opinion about Peanut Butter and Jelly: With Nutella, very yummy! Without, it's okay. Best Vacation Spot: I normally go to Myrtle Beach. Fairly relaxing. Cook or Go Out: Go out. Beach, Desert, or Mountains: Mountains, definitely.
  4. Darn. It's always the soft stuff that I miss.
  5. You think eating there is bad... try working there. At this point in the economy, a job is a job, but bussing tables for said clientele is probably one of the worst jobs I'll ever have to put on a resume. There are screaming kids everywhere, and it's so hard to move around! (I gotta admit, I'm a sucker for the mac-n-cheese pizza, but that's about it.) Chain: Pizzeria Uno (best deep-dish pizza I've ever had!) Independent: There's this great little place close to where I live called Pastabilities. Even though they're a little on the expensive side, their meatball hoagies are divine, and the pizza is darn good too.
  6. OnlineBootyCall is such crap. Well, I think it is. Then again, who am I to judge? Ehh, whatever. (Spaghetti is delicious.)
  7. Finally, more people who appreciate this genre. Most people just blow it off, but honestly, some of these bands are better than the secular metal bands. Here are a few of my favorites: The Devil Wears Prada August Burns Red A Plea For Purging Haste The Day Becoming The Archetype Demon Hunter The Chariot Norma Jean Mortal Treason The Famine Twelve Gauge Valentine Gwen Stacy Impending Doom Inhale Exhale Symphony In Peril Once Nothing War Of Ages Oh, Sleeper MyChildren MyBride With Blood Comes Cleansing Extol Nodes of Ranvier Cry of the Afflicted Showbread And there are plenty more where that came from.
  8. I love Owl City. I'm so excited, August Burns Red's (one of the best hardcore bands I've ever heard) new CD is almost out! I can't wait!
  9. I think so. Are you going / did you go to Warped Tour this year?
  10. Whenever I get into a relatively new or nice car with leather interior, I always try to get a big whiff of that "new car smell." It's nice.
  11. I'm in a pickle... Today, I met with my girlfriend (whom I've been dating for all of 1 week as of now) for lunch, and she pulled out a bag from her purse, and told me to open it. It turned out to be a wallet, which I have been needing for a long time now. Why is this a bad thing? The wallet is Coach. Yikes. So here's my problem: I'm strapped for cash, and her birthday is coming up next month. What could I possibly do that would be just as nice as randomly handing her a $100 wallet, but a lot less expensive? (Just my luck, I like the girl with the expensive taste. )
  12. ^^Hardstyle is really heavy (sometimes fast) dance music with a deep bass beat. It's very similar to, if not the same thing as, jumpstyle. I'm not a huge fan, but I'll listen. I'm more of a drum 'n' bass kind of guy. Some of my favorites: Alternative- Band of Skulls, Wolf Parade, Born Ruffians, Fields, Arcade Fire, Beck, Liars, Animal Collective, of Montreal, Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Mum, Silversun Pickups, Panic At The Disco (new stuff), The Rapture Dance/Electronic- High Contrast, Danny Byrd, Tiesto, Fatboy Slim, The Postal Service, Benny Benassi, Cut Copy, Justice, Boys Noize, Mux Mool Hardcore- Attack Attack!, Of Machines, A Skylit Drive, Emarosa, Dance Gavin Dance, Oceana, August Burns Red, The Chariot, I Built The Cross, Underneath The Gun, iwrestledabearonce Pop/Rap- Danger Radio, Gnarls Barkley, Lecrae, Trip Lee, John Legend, Little Jackie, Maroon 5 (old stuff), Sara Bareilles, Feist ...and that's just some of it. I have many more favorites, but I can't think of them right now.
  13. $8.50 for the new Silversun Pickups CD. It was on sale at Target.
  14. Great TR, great video, and I love those shirts. SFOG is my home park, and I think I've been on the Wheelie too many times to count. It's so fun! My first Enterprise-type ride was actually the Enterprise at the now-defunct Myrtle Beach Pavilion. It was actually my first "upside-down" ride too. I'm not sure which company made it, because instead of sitting on a bench-style seat, you sit down in an L-shape on a soft pad. I think the lack of an actual seat added to the force of the ride.
  15. I'm actually a talker. When I'm riding with a friend, my friend and I will just talk the entire time, then laugh if we hear a really funny scream. Sometimes, I'll let out a "WHOO!", but mostly a talker. Strange.
  16. I tried this stuff on a school trip, and personally, I hated it. But... it did give me a good buzz. I'm thinking that buzz could have been from the other 2 cans of regular Red Bull I had that day too (I will NEVER drink more than one in a day EVER AGAIN, it's just unhealthy). Anyways, the cola sucked. Just my two cents.
  17. I'm getting my driver's license today. I'm nervous...
  18. I suppose so. We'll just see what happens in the next year. Anyways, I did some digging on YouTube and found my band's half-time show from this year! This video was taken at a competition where we got 1st place.
  19. OF MACHINES- As If Everything Was Held In Place Best album of 2009 so far, IMO. If you like bands like A Skylit Drive, Emarosa, and Dance Gavin Dance, CHECK THESE GUYS OUT! They are absolutely amazing. I need to see them live now.
  20. $10 for a $15 iTunes card. I'm such a bargain shopper!
  21. I've been playing alto sax since 6th grade. I'm not really that much into marching band as I used to be, so I'm stopping after high school. But, I love concert band, so I'm thinking I'll do that in college still. It's fun!
  22. I went with my dad in June, and I have to say, it was a bit of a letdown. Led Zeppelin was fun, and Nights in White Satin was awesome, but there were more cons than pros. The ticket price was rediculous ($50)! If they had started off at a lower ticket price, like $25, my whole family would have gone, and there were 7 of us down there at the time! Basically, instead of earning $100 from two of us, they would have gotten $175 from 7 of us, increasing their profit (slightly) and their attendance. Heck, any profit increase is at least an increase! They just didn't think things out too well. The park was also very large for the amount of attractions they had. If they had started off smaller and expanded, they could have potentially had more rides, more guests and better success. Also, there were NO shady spots except for restaurants and queue lines. Not very nice to be there on a super-hot June afternoon. I just hope that someone saves Nights In White Satin. That's one of the few rides worth saving.
  23. I love Vampire Weekend! They're very lo-fi, but something about them makes me smile. Also, Crystal Castles are muy bueno!
  24. 100% agreed. I just got it about two weeks ago (borrowed it from my town's library! ) and they've become one of my most favorite bands. None of my friends like them though! I think they're crazy.
