^That last play was pretty intense, though. It was a good game to watch (even if I only caught the last half).

Well, it's Saturday in Athens! Today we're playing Louisiana-Lafayette, and I gotta say, there's really no contest here. Kick-off was at 12:21pm (a rather odd and specific time for kick-off, might I add), and we've been beating these guys to death. It's the fourth quarter, 6 minutes on the clock, and the score is UGA: 55, LU-LAF: 7. Go Dawgs!

Well, I'm currently on track for Marketing, but I'm changing over to Advertising. Strangely enough, advertising isn't in the business college at UGA; it's in the college of journalism and mass communication. Go figure, right?

You mean like The Great Gasp? Heck to the yeah! I still kinda wish SFOG had kept theirs. Do you listen to house music?

I love Of Montreal! It just so happens that I'm going to college in their hometown (Athens, GA), and they're playing a show next Saturday. I'm so there. Wolf Parade, Beach House, Mt St Helens Vietnam Band, The Whigs, and Portugal. The Man are also making stops in Athens in the near future, so I'm saving up some cash to go see 'em all! I enjoy living in a music hotspot!

Well, my dorm had a movie night tonight, featuring two movies: Boondock Saints - Very violent, but very well-written and, at times, very funny. Normally, this style of movie isn't exactly my favorite, but I think it was worth watching and would most definitely watch it a second time. The death-by-toilet scene was incredible. 8/10 Everything Is Illuminated - I loved this movie. It was quirky, quite indie-ish in style, but the story behind it all was involving enough to keep me watching. The only thing I didn't quite understand is which genre it would fall into; it was a comedy for the first half, but rather depressing and dramatic for the last half. Regardless of genre, it was a very good watch. Highly recommended! 9/10

My first college class is at 11:15 tomorrow morning. I'm super excited! -
For any fan of downtempo hip-hop style beats, you should look up Balam Acab. His debut EP, See Birds, is being released on August 16th, and I will most definitely be getting myself a copy.

J.G. Wentworth makes horrible advertisements. As if opera is already unpopular enough in modern American culture, now it's about some sort of loan office. Awful.
-
Omigosh, I totally forgot about V for Vendetta AND Zombieland. Although I must say, I enjoyed V for Vendetta more. Ooh, how about Young Frankenstein? That's a definite classic.

My absolute favorite movie ever is Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I could watch that movie all day and not get sick of it. A few other personal favorites include Ratatouille, The Incredibles, Napoleon Dynamite (hate me all you want, I love it!), Cloverfield (see Napoleon Dynamite), and Fight Club. "...His name is Robert Paulson."

^Honestly, I'd be cool with that list if it were the 20 Most Popular Drummers in the Last 25 years. But I don't agree with this list AT ALL. Travis Barker shouldn't even be on the list, and Joey Jordison shouldn't be #1. That magazine probably hasn't even heard of Matt Greiner. He's the drummer for a band called August Burns Red, and he totally throws Joey and Travis into the trash bin.

In just eight short hours, I will be packing as much of my life as I can fit into one car and moving it all to a little place called Athens, GA. Hello, college! -
I'm moving into my dorm room in one day.

Whats the moat random thing you have ever purchased
no_brain_er replied to zaneymon's topic in Random, Random, Random
I bought one of these once. Essentially, they put five staple "holiday dinner" items into soda form: Turkey and gravy, stuffing, brussels sprouts, pumpkin pie, and cranberry. Much to the chagrin of my tastebuds, I made the mistake of taste-testing all of them, including the infamous brussels sprouts flavor. Worst holiday dinner ever. ...Except for the cranberry flavor. It was pretty legit. -
At 0:33 .... Ummm cool "pen"? It seriously looks more like a "cool" pen...is. I guess that's what you were inferring, my good sir.

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?

Superman: Ultimate Flight at SFOG today. I was going to make a run on Goliath before I left, but I didn't feel like waiting an hour and a half for something I've ridden about nine times already. -

I'm going to Six Flags over Georgia tomorrow! The only downside is that it's a Saturday, and a hot one at that. Huge crowds and 93° temperatures DO NOT mix well together. Good thing I have sunscreen! I'm also going to bring a camera to try and take as many pictures as I possibly can. I hope I don't have a heat stroke... -
Fuzzoodles...!? Essentially, they are marketing oversized pipe cleaners with Mr-Potato-Head-style body parts. Horrible product, yes, but they could've at least made a less-annoying commercial. The singing... I just want to find the people who produced this commercial and backhand them into last year. UGH.

The Devil Wears Prada - Outnumbered The newest song off their newest cd, the Zombie EP. It's much heavier than their last album, but that doesn't make it bad.
-
Yes. It was a squirrel, but I didn't mean to. It had crossed the road when I slowed down, but as soon as I sped back up it decided to bolt back into the street, just as my tire reached the same spot. I say it was suicidal. Have you ever asked someone how their day was, only to get a ten-minute life story in reply?

Any other Peach Ne-Hi fans here? I absolutely LOVE the stuff, but the only place I know of that sells it is a little gas station fifteen minutes from Sumter, South Carolina (and I live 5 hours away). I guess my favorite soda that I can actually buy is Diet Dr. Pepper; I drink at least two cans a day, which leads me to believe I'm going to die from aspartame poisoning.

Well, it's safe to say that Big Boi's new album is incredible.
-
Shutterbugg - Big Boi I'm not normally a fan of rap, but I could put this song on repeat and play it for hours.
