^ Do they still sell wigs there?

^ Good move by UCLA. I loved the hire when they brought Mora in (reminded me of Carroll at USC) and he's done nothing but make UCLA better.
-
^I think Miles was a little different. Saban built LSU into a national power and handed him the keys. I feel like Mora Jr. to Washington would be a huge move. I consider Washington a better program than UCLA, and now that Mora has built up relationships he'll be able to get top talent to go to Seattle. I've never understood why UCLA isn't a great football program, but they've just never reached their potential. Washington was a dominant program when I was growing up, and I think they're on their way back. I still think Husky Stadium is one of the toughest places to play in. That place gets LOUD. *Edit - I realize UCLA is a basketball school, but I don't see why they couldn't also have a better football program.

Cedar Fair: I-305 Six Flags: El Toro SeaWorld Entertainment: Apollo's Chariot Herschend: Outlaw Run Universal: Incredible Hulk Disney Parks: Space Mountain (DL) The SeaWorld one was the toughest to come up with. I basically have Apollo, Kumba and Montu in a 3 way tie. -

Amusement Ride Breakdown!
Barge84 replied to Mr Stratosphere's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I got stuck in the same spot, right under the vultures for about 15 minutes once. Pretty annoying. The only other breakdown I've had was on Iron Wolf back in 1996 (I think). Got stuck at the top of the lift hill for about 45 minutes. Pretty uncomfortable being stuck on a stand up for that long. -
USC hires Steve Sarkisian. Seems like an odd move to me. He's done OK at Washington, but I feel like USC should be aiming higher. They're very weird about keeping it inside the USC family.

On Thanksgiving I was showing my brother-in-law the boardwalk tile glitch since he also plays. Of course, I accidentally tapped on mine. It came back yesterday, so if you want to help me out, feel free to swing by and tap my tile again! Thanks!

I admittedly hate OSU... A lot. But I agree, if they beat MSU on Saturday they've earned a trip to the BCS title game. Auburn's schedule hasn't bee that crazy this year. I watched the LSU game, and they were never really a threat that night. This isn't your typical LSU team, either. I know, I know. The SEC is amazing and the Big 10 is terrible, but I think OSU should get in over Auburn if they win this week.

Iowa played both OSU and MSU, and I was more impressed with Michigan State. Their defense completely manhandled us for all but a 5 minute stretch in the 2nd quarter. OSU's defense can be scored on, as proven yesterday. Should be a very interesting game.

This is why college football is great. Every year people pencil in the #1 and #2 teams at the start of the year, but it rarely happens. That was a crazy game in Auburn tonight.
-
^ Yep, Thibs isn't the kind of coach that will let them go into tank mode, which is what they should do. Especially with this year's draft.

Even though it did look really cold, your team did great and I'm guessing you had fun with a win at home. Sure was great watching UM lose while MSU won with a chance to the Rose Bowl. Freakin Ohio State needs to lose now. It was REALLY cold! They said it was around 13 degrees with wind chill, but it felt colder where we were sitting (no sun). At kick off, it was the coldest game ever played at Kinnick Stadium. It was well worth sitting through it to watch them comeback from a 21-7 deficit. I predicted that Iowa would be 4-8 again, or worse. Can't believe they're sitting at 7-4 right now, with the 4 losses coming against teams with a combined record of 41-3. They play hard every week, and that's all I can ask for. It's been a fun season.

^ I rarely bet against LSU, and yesterday reminded me why. I also had the over in that game. Not good. UCLA was the one that really hurt me. Terrible first half.

My newest tile finished yesterday, so if you're going around to towns today, please tap mine. Just did my morning run and tapped any tiles that were ready. Finished the Thanksgiving quests this morning. Hey Mechanic, I tried to accept your friend request, but it kept giving me an error. I even tried sending you a request, but that gave me an error as well. Not sure what it is about our accounts, but Origin doesn't seem to want to link us together.

Looks like weather is going to start being a factor for games in the midwest. Going to the Iowa/Michigan game tomorrow. Wind chill expected to be around 5 degrees. That should be awful to sit in for 3 1/2 hours!

Work has sucked for me as well this week, so I finally had a chance to watch the video last night. I thought it was funny that someone said it was too short. When I first looked I thought, "20 minutes? I'm not going to watch that. It's too long." I liked how informal the interviews were. That's probably why I like TPR more than any other site. I'm just interested in different things than a lot of other enthusiasts. Thanks for all the coverage.

The turkey calling is annoying, especially since I'm also in the middle of having to have Lisa play her Sax 3 times (4 hours) since I'm way behind everyone else. Lots of tasks for Lisa to do, I guess. I also lost my tile that I'd had for about a week because of a Squidport quest where I had to place a boardwalk tile. Now I'm waiting 3 days until the next one appears. Oh well, at least I got about 25 tiles from people tapping on it. Thanks for all the help!

^ I was disappointed to see your tile was gone. I got about 800 XP from you earlier today!
-
I saw that on Deadspin this morning. What an idiot.

Just did some tapping. Probably do another round in about 3 hours. I've got a tile ready as well, so any tapping would be appreciated.

The Vikings didn't get any better this week. Hopefully Jacksonville can steal another win somewhere along the line. I'd love to get the #1 pick.
