Do you just call it Craptor because you don't like how it sounds when the trains dispatch? That's pretty lame if that's so, I've heard you talk about that a lot versus the ride itself. I think it runs just as well as Top Gun/Afterburn at Carowinds in my opinion.

Kangaroo Court by Capital Cities

That steel rod of death totally looks safe! Thankfully you were on a B&M so you weren't bouncing around in danger of bashing your head into it, haha. Looks like a lovely little park on the side of a hill; the pictures from the stations of each coaster were very pretty! Thanks for sharing all the photos.

Loooks like they always put on a great event for kids and their parents! They get some candy, you get some candy...and many tempting treats as well - not to mention the rides as well! Great photos.

I've heard about that dumpling place. It was awarded one Michelin star, that's so awesome! I hope I get to eat at a Michelin restaurant some day.

I didn't know they had that nice are by the Falls. I really need to get up to the North East! It's a shame I haven't been up there yet - especially to see Toronto. I really want to see that city. This is my reaction too. That thing is ready to tip over at any moment. Really sad to see this happen, kind of wanted to cry when I saw this since like others before me have said, no park, buisness, etc., deserves any of this. Prayers to al involved. My thoughts as well. I'm so sad to see their progress burned away. It's an amusement park, going to brighten the day of many people! It's so terrible that this happened.

Thanks for the comments everyone I hadn't done a trip report in a hot minute, it's fun to share photos. The color coded bins are awesome and do make you feel very safe about leaving anything in them; because no one can get in them or open them until your specific train gets back! And the best part is you don't have to pay for that type of security.

While I can't say anything about the Q&A since I wasn't there, Cedar Point has fixed the problem with them on Gatekeeper (though I have yet to ride with the improved vests). I would bet that the vests will be fixed for Banshee as well. I rode the "fixed row" and it still sucked. There were only 2 trains running and I know it depends on the train and the row and the outside seat, the time of day, if the light on the side of the car is working, if you just ate an elephant ear, what color your eyes are Wouldn't Cedar Point come out and say hey, they don't lock now or whatever.

Who? Never been there. Was definitely not an exchange student living the life there. And I DID ride Superman Escape! ...no I didn't...it was closed for rehab -PKI Jizzman/PhotoBoothe.

Holy sh!t! This is insane. Scary enough being attached to just the tower, but that spinning arm? At 475ft that's just nucking futz!

There are a few rides at Cedar Point I hadn't been on in a couple visits that I rode this year - Blue Streak and Wicked Twister. There are some rides that I haven't been on since probably 2007. Corkscrew and Mean Streak are those two rides. I didn't think Corkscrew was that bad, it was just they seemed to stack the trains and I hate sitting in the sun on the brake run! Mean Streak is pretty self explaining. I do remember that airtime hill being pretty nice!

Cedar Point is great for the rides, and it does have a fun pseudo beach setting; but I still take themed rides and parks over non themed rides any day. It's why I love Mystery Mine and Scooby Doo's Spooky Coaster so much! Sure Scooby Doo may only be a custom Mack coaster, but it's a longgggg ride and it's packed full of surprises and it's decorated wall to wall which makes it just as good if not better than Maverick, Voyage, Goliath, Millennium in my book. I get that special feeling walking into Disney parks. I also do with Cedar Point, but it's not close to Disney It's just the sight of all these amazing Intamin rides is like woooowwww!

I'm such a sucker for Disneyland's Space Mountain. The on board audio just had me in love with the ride. Not to mention Indiana Jones. Holy crap, I didn't even know the ride existed! Scooby Doo's Spooky Coaster is pretty great. WDW's Tower of Terror of course. Tomb Raider, the Ride! Was really good back in the day. I remember riding it as a teenager for the first time and being really nervous. It was just so dark and mysterious, you really had no idea what was going to happen. SO SAD that the ride turned into a turd and then was removed. Shame on Cedar Fair!
