  1. Looks like you're pasting the same thing in all the CA threads. Dig a few pages in and you'll find some answers since lots of people are planning trips as well. Heck you might even stumble across something like my trip report that highlights Knott's/DCA/DL in one day!
  2. How consistent is the fire effect on Volcano?
  3. All your answers are right here conveniently on CP's website. https://www.cedarpoint.com/help/frequently-asked-questions
  4. Zeus has been the worst in recent years for me; nothing has come close to it. Coast Rider left me swearing and pissed off because of that shin bar. Once I sat in the car I knew I was in for a world of hurt. I don't know why the car felt so claustrophobic compared to other wild mice - they're one of my favorite types of coasters! Yeah, never again. I've had truly awful rides on Beast, Son of Beast, and Hurler (Caro) but those were in the 2000's so now they're a faded memory, thankfully! Those are *the worst* of all time in my book. Seriously, the Best was in rough shape in the early/mid 2000's. From KBF thread. Whyyyyyy??? From KBF thread
  5. Yeah the buttoned blazer is a no go for me. It's way too distracting but I could be wrong since Toronto is a uniquely fashioned city. Half of the time spent there we played the game "hot garbage or ...hot?" because we couldn't figure out if people were rocking a six figure outfit or thrift store mashup.
  6. That's awesome to hear! What were the effects in the tunnel?
  7. Source. Yeah it has been posted a handful of times since Winter Chill Out but it keeps getting overlooked, haha. Definitely exciting.
  8. Oh man I hope the ride is going to be re-located if anything. It is easily the best coaster in the area.
  9. The fact that you couldn't stop laughing speaks volumes about this ride! Seems to be a similarity among epic coasters. Wow...as loud as Son of Beast! That's impressive I kinda love it, though... Thanks for the great buffet of videos, photos, comments, and smiles.
  10. You pretty much answered your own question, haha. You love Gerstlauer coasters. Everyone likes/loves/dislikes/hates depending on what they prefer and the group consensus gives us the top/bottom.
  11. ... despite my best efforts. Sorry Mystery Mine, I tried but everyone really, really hates you. I love MM too! I also have Scooby Doo's Spooky coaster still high on my list so there were definitely some odd/'mediocre' coasters that got high votes. #nostalgia Looks like MM came in at #264 in good company with Flying Turns, Furious Baco, Invadr, and Fujiyama!
  12. Nice. Anyway, looks like a neat little ride, can't wait to get on it. Actually, I'm going to start counting down the days: T-Minus 27 days! You beat me to the quote That was a good one, haha. Wow, it's just...massive. And so fast! I still can't figure out what exactly happens on the second half of the ride. Can't wait to visit Cedar Point!!!
  13. I love these lists. I feel like they're totally balanced and they just 'make sense'. Thanks to everyone who voted and ranked! Can't wait to see how coasters climb/fall/break through over the years.
  14. Thanks for posting that train/bus/Uber info again. Great Adventure has alluded me for so long and I'm determined to get there soon! I'm taking notes.. Looks like a great visit! Margs/minimal waits/beer/empanadas = above and beyond a Six Flags day!
  15. Wish granted! Oh, and BTW... tomorrow[/size]!!! Mega excitement.
  16. Great report! What a special way for Animal Kingdom to celebrate the anniversary and Earth Day. Expedition Everest looks like a such a fun ride with so many details to take in. Joe Rohde is so well spoken he could talk about rocks or dust on a DVD and I'd be just as locked in as if he's talking about something Disney related.
  17. I'm really underwhelmed with your review of Dragon Wagon. I expected it to be more detailed...
  18. Your cruise trip reports are so much fun to read because the photos are so great (as always) and you do a great job of making it seem like I can reach through the screen and order some of that amazing food! It's really cool to see all of the details they put into every room. If I ever go on a cruise it'd probably be some sort of Disney cruise. The level of service and cleanliness is just out of this world compared to other cruise trip reports I've seen.
  19. Thursday evening + all day Friday while skipping the clones is more than enough time to get as many rides on the big 4 as you want. Unless weather slows you down, you could plan on leaving to CP Saturday morning. I bet FL is cheaper on Friday too, but you might not need it since the 4 coaster you mentioned have great capacity and ops. It's very possible that they only have a 15 minute wait all day. Plan on FL on Friday if you see those lines inflate to 20 minutes and give yourself some extra time at CP. Best case: Tons of rides Thursday night/you don't need FL on Friday and you can get use it at CP on Saturday! Worst case: You can't get in on Thursday and you do Friday/Sat FL at Kings Island. It's almost worth debating whether or not you'd want to be at CP on a Saturday, but mid-late August could make it tolerable...
  20. Actually it looks like regular Flash Pass will be able to be used on Twisted Cyclone (but yes, only once): https://www.sixflags.com/overgeorgia/store/flash-passes Not sure why Batman is only once, but it makes sense for Cyclone and DDD. The capacity is already going to be bleh (it's a short ride, you think they will be able to dispatch train 2 without stacking? ) so while I'd love to buy a FP and ride over and over and over I get it. It's true, they did the same thing with Goliath at SFGAm so the plan should be: Go to TC and get a ride in (another lap if the line it's too long) then go to get your FP. Who knows, maybe there will be a single rider line that will help keep trains full. But let's be real, it's going to be tough to not stack trains on this quick circuit + how Six Flags loads/unloads guests in/out of RMC trains.
  21. "The Sweet Spot will feature a new flavor every Tuesday, and they are getting creative. There's ranch. And jalapeno. And onion." Of cotton candy. Noooo thanks! Dragon fruit? Sure! Credit to eschwartzberg
  22. Right, I was referring to TPR's video of the Beast being used in the video. Re-read Robb's post.
  23. This has to be your biggest photo-TR, right?! Thanks for all the photos, I really miss DL and DCA now! I'm so thankful I got to sneak in a visit in February but I really need to get back there for more than 8 hours to enjoy the park on a slow pace
  24. It's been going around Twitter as well - here's the link so you can make sure you get credit.
