  1. The Stricker Cup is f'n impossible....I am SO frustrated!!!!!
  2. I really want some of that Fanta Melon. The newly repainted rides look great!
  3. I have been to a lot of parks, and I actually think CP has a far better collection of coasters than other parks, and I think many are great. Blue Streak: Better than Average Cedar Creek Mine Ride: Below Average (aimed as less of a thrill though) Corkscrew: Average Disaster Transport: Average Gemini: Above Average Iron Dragon: Average Magnum XL 200: Great Mantis: Below Average Maverick: Great Mean Streak: Above Average Millennium Force: Great Raptor: Great Top Thrill Dragster: Great Wicked Twister: Great Wild Cat: Above Average What's your scale range from? Bad to Great? Horrible to amazing? Mine goes like this: 0-1 Horrible 2-3 Bad 4-5 Mediocre 6-7 Pretty Good 8-9 Great Ride 10 - Amazing! I think most coasters at Cedar Point are either 7-9 or 4-5. Corckscrew, Mine Ride, Disaster T, Iron Dragon, Wildcat, Mean Streak: All mediocre rides IMHO. Wicked Twister is in the middle, about 6.5-7 Raptor and Mantis are Great Rides. [8] Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster are also great rides [9] And Maverick is Amazing. All IMHO. Is CP really the greatest park out there? I bet it's one of the better ones, but not the best. It's layout SUCKS. And the scenery/landscaping can go from good to poor to great! Food is same as other theme parks, but Elephant Ears RULE. But I do have to admit I love the CP operators. All of my experiences at CP have been great. They are funny, very interactive, and can get the lines moving. And the Beast doesn't deserve to be a top 10 woodie. It USED to be an amazing wooden rollercoaster, but now it's just a really fast and long meandering through the woods through straight sections, brakes, two helixes, and umm....what was the last thing? Oh yeah, BRAKES! With some rough spots too. That's my views on what was said. -JZ
  4. That's exactly the same I was thinking. It looks like any small or large park would be able to afford this coaster. And for it's compact design with inversions, speed, turns, and being an invert....it could be very popular.
  5. Haha....the only pic I saw Ryan in he was texting.
  6. http://blog.cleveland.com/metro/2007/08/bill_proposes_starting_ohios_s.html Saweeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
  7. Coming from Mr. Blurry Photo that is some comment. And I learned from my mistake. I thought I'd pass it on before he got comments similar to those you left me.
  8. I swear those first nine pictures are the same.
  9. Halloween Haunt is coming soon! It's going to be great, despite some crappy name changes. I found some pics from a KI fansite. Now that just freakin' sounds SCARY! -shudder- Sure, you can throw me in a cage. Random pics and ladies. I have a feeling this will have a LONG line! WOAH! This is concept outfits for Club Blood? SWEET logo! "Pain The Town Red"
  10. Ohio ----------------------------------| |------------------------------------- ----------------------------------| | ----------------------------------| | Ohio River----------------------| Bridge | Ohio River ----------------------------------| | ----------------------------------| | ----------------------------------| |-------------------------------------- Kentucky And soon to be....WEBN Fireworks. It's going to kick major butt. I Love the comics, Flipdude!
  11. Like I said in my TR, Three times I was the first train out of the station, we came into the tunnel and slowed down to about 10 mph, and then launched IMMEDIATELY. I didn't really like that because you didn't get to see what was going on or where you are. But on the other hand, it really is NON STOP action, haha. The other time I was the second train out of the station and we slowed down, not to a complete stop, but a walking pace....slowly entered the LIMs and launched. As you speed by those 'train lights', doesn't it feel like a huge heat wave? Was that heat form the lights burning all day or LIMs or....?
  12. I haven't been on many wooden coasters that have been called "great" or "awesome", but Gemini, Beast, and Thunderhead are deffinately my favorites. GCI has been building some AMAZING looking coasters. It seems they have been getting better and better each year with faster, quicker, crazier elements. Intamin's rides look absolutely great! I really really want to get on some of their creations. So I can't really say I have a favorite only being on one GCI and some random builders.
  13. I doubt CP would put in another shuttle type coaster, especially another one that is inverted. I think CP likes to go with origional concept coasters, and I just can't see them putting in this second hand ride with all the problems I hear about them. If they do get it, I think it's an easy, cheap way for them to add another coaster collection.
  14. ^^Firehawk shuts down when dark clouds are 100 miles away.
  15. Great TR and very nice pics! Colossos looks like an amazing Intamin woodie, almost like an El Toro prototype layout. Limit is a coolcoaster name, but doesn't look like a nice ride! I still think it's funny the majority of the coasters/rides there are white. -J "Still dreaming of riding an awesome Intamin woodie" Z
  16. If all this is true, I think KI should have gotten the B&M out of this. We need a really good ride
  17. Yeah, I read the update and what you said in the pictures about Maverick. I was just looking for a play by play review, as I have seen you do before. Oops.
  18. Nice report! Do you think that Maverick is the best ride in the park?
  19. Nice TR Casey! I can't wait to see more of the crazy trip! -JZ
  20. ^Video doesn't work for me. Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! I really want to see if these trains will be added to newer (2008/2009) B&M coasters. Maybe it will only be this one and see how it works, then add them to future coasters. I didn't see anything on B&M's site about the new trains...
  21. About 78mph for a top speed is pretty fast. By the time the train comes around to the three airtime hills, it should be going about 55-62 mph...and those are some big airtime hills. I really like this setting along side...and did I see over the water? That's pretty cool; I bet there will be some -really- nice photos of this ride in the future.
  22. -J "Will never pick up a cancer stick" Z
  23. Does anyone else think that the track looks a bit thinner and the regular B&M Hypers? With the new trains and all, the track didn't look as big to me. -J "ACErs with'Behemoth' shirts on...LOL!" Z
  24. Nice review. But I really don't understand what you said about TTD should have been like Maverick......
