Great pics, man! What were the highlights of your season?

Surgery was a success! don't really remember much from this morning, but soup and ice cream and the Austin Powers series is pretty good!

Psh, all you have to do is put in a transfer from wood to steel like on SOB! Just call up Ingenieur Büro Stengel GmbH or Roller Coaster Corporation of America and they would probably be happy to!

Cherry Coke is the greatest. Cherry Coke Zero or Cherry Coke. I read somewhere before that Pepsi is too concentrated...one sip is too much...yup! And Sierra Mist has too much of a lime flavor to it. It's like they used a wee bit of lemon and crammed a whole lime in and added Tonic Water. Drink water at CP. It's free! And you could bring those little Kool-Aid or Crystal lite ....heck, even gatoraid pack mix-ins! -J "If CF replaces the employee coke machines with Pepsi, I swear..." Z

I don't really remember riding King Cobra, just that I was barely tall enough to ride. But Mantis and Vortex were pretty good. Especially Mantis. B&M.

I thought the same. All I heard was how it was number one, number one, number one.

I have atleast 45-50 days until I get over to AU to Dreamworld, Movie World, ect. So I might be able to go tubing at Perfect North. They have some great tubing lanes...I remember one had a nice pop of airtime! So that might be my fix in the mean time, so for now I can just count down to Giant Drop.

Oh, how could I forget a ride on SOB. It was back in 2005 when they still had the loop and the Permier Lap Bars. My friend decided she wanted to ride in the back seat, so at the least I got us in the middle of the car, thinking it would be allright. WRONG! It had been cloudy all day and the minute we were strapped in, it started to POUR. They just cleared us and we rolled out of the station. Cramped legs, 10lb lap bar on my chest, and huge rain drops, and SOB = Hell. It was deffinately one of the worst experiances of my life at KI. I had to pull my shirt over my head so it didn't feel like getting hit with an airsoft gun. SOB went atleast 78mph, FYI.

But that hurts! Like a tetanus shot! Top Gun: TJC has some great hang time on that Immelman, now that I think about it.

He did say he liked being upsidown...comfortably, Homer Frenzoid nearly crushed by balls and exploded my head at the same time!

Because of Mantis' trim, there is TONS of hangtime on that big loop.

Nevermind the poor girl who lost her feet. Well I wouldn't think they would have to comepletely relocate/destroy the ride! A full safetly inspection could be in order...but I guess that park will never have some sort of drop ride because of that incident.

Only really bad coaster rides I have had were one Hurler at Carowinds and Beast at KI. Hurler - It was a walk on. I sat in the back seat anticipating another great woodie. This thing jackhammered and slamed you side to side SO bad! My back seriously hurt for a good hour or so after the ride. The only thing good out of that ride was the hill coming out of that turn. Beast - It was in the early '06 season. Could have been '05. I sat in the back seat and my friend sat in the seat infront of me. This ride jackhammered SO bad! From start to finish! And I tried to lean off my seat but I got slammed to the right side on the final helix and destroyed him right shoulder. I got off it having some breathing problems and a bruised shoulder. I didn't sit in the back seat for atleast a year or so.

Unlike the Tornados where the ride ends after the bowl, the ride continues through a dark tube! I bet these will become very popular in the Indoor and outdoor waterparks.
