  1. Boardwalk Bullet was, well 'moody' for TPR during the Texas trip haha. At night when it opened after the storm, it was rough as hell. Next morning for ERT, I rode for the whole hour! Awesome ride.
  2. Okay, I haven't been to WDW since 2002, but when I visited DL and DCA in 2008, I was completely blown away. I really underestimated both parks, and the rides they had. California Screamin' was an awesome ride, especially at night and I had no idea it would sneak into my top 10. Very cool ride, even if it wasn't really themed. But damn does it look pretty at night! Indiana Jones and Grizzy River Rapids were both...well, out of this world. Indiana Jones had me going when I started going through the queue, the pre show video was hilarious, and the ride itself was unreal! I couldn't believe I had hardly heard about the ride and it turned out to be one of the best theme park rides I'd ever been on! Grizzly River Rapids had be believing that we were REALLY going to flip over. I loved Kali River Rapids, but I was blown away by GRR! Tower of Terror was awesome, I know it doesn't have the moving track part; but I had just as much fun if not more on the Cali version as I remembered having in WDW. Space Mountain was another huge suprise to me. I didn't know how different the two Space Mtn's were, and I loved the audio track that went along with the ride! Splash Mountain and Big Thunder were both great, nothing I noticed different from Orlando's. I spent 3.5 days between the two parks, and I think it was the perfect amount of time to take in Downtown Disney, DCA, and DL. I did everything multiple times, and loved every part of both parks. Disneyland is probably my favorite park to this date. Even though I remember WDW VERY well, I still know it had been 6 years ago going into DL; can't wait to get back and see how I like it!
  3. The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train sound similar to Mack's E-Motion coaster combined with a twist and turn coaster? ^My thoughts one minute before I posted
  4. Aw, I miss Movie World! Thanks for the update Shane!
  5. Hell yeah mate! It's for SURE the best when: A.) You're sitting at the top, and Tower of Terror car comes up, shaking the tower at 400ft haha. B.) You drop, and as you're going down, the ToT car flies right by, the opposite way. I was lucky enough to have experienced both, at the very end of the row. Will never forget that!
  6. Robb, this looks AWESOME! This is a very cool, and I'm very excited to see this new feature to TPR! Wow, this is REALLY cool!
  7. Wow, the two were right next to each other at the library...I should have chosen Book of Eli haha. I did like Robert Duvall's part.
  8. I'd say Indiana Beach. It packs a bunch of coasters into one park, along with awesome flats, ghetto-tastic rides and food, and it has a CRAZY good steel coaster AND wood coaster!
  9. Watched "The Road" with Viggo Mortinson. I saw it won a bunch of awards, got rave reviews, even was told it was "one of the most important movies of the generation." I was pretty bored throughout the movie. Nothing really happened. The was one cool scene when they man and the boy were escaping from a house; but it was dark, depressing, and uneventful. I was dissapointed.
  10. I play a Gibson Les Paul Studio: Vintage Mahogany. It's american made, got a great Burstbucker Pro pickups that are very versatile. Also have a Fender Strat; Mexican with the Tex Mex pickups. Brother's guitar but he doesn't play anymore, so my gain! And I have a Marshall 1960 reissue cab with an HDFX head (Halfstack) Love guitars <3 My les Paul is already discontinued, so I've made a huuuge profit!
  11. Have had a few rough rides on the Voyage, but none that bad. More so this year (because I think they spent the money they WOULD spend on repairs, on the Timberliners instead), but still it's the Voyage. It's intense. Even it if's kind of rough, it still has an insane amount of airtime...it's been consistently a top 1-3 coaster for me! Maybe since I'm 19 and come from Kings Island I'd don't consider many other coasters rough Well, the Texas trip sure tested that for me! This year though, Raven was running DAMN good. I'd say better than Voyage, this year.
  12. Sent mine in. Here's my "#1 Quality woodies" -Cornball Express: Indi Beach -Kentucky Rumbler: Beech Bend -Raven: Holiday World -Voyage: Holiday World -Viper: SFGAm Following: -Boardwalk Bullett -Georgia Cyclone -Thunderhead -American Eagle (Red Side) Hurler (Carowinds), Son of Beast, Rattler, Mean Streak, and Blue Racer (at KI) have been some of my worst woodie rides haha.
  13. Kiiiiings Island. About 20 minutes away. Cedar Point is about 3.5 hours, if that. SFKK is about 90 minutes. Holiday World and Indiana Beach are about 3 hours away. I love my location!
  14. I'm with Neil. I like the white and alt font!
  15. I like the old one. I'm not a fan of the new tagline. "We just have a funny way of showing it!".... hmm. I wouldn't like saying that to other people when I describe TPR to people.
  16. Wow, if these trains make this ride GCI, GCI smooth...BGA will have the best looking coaster line-ups in the USA, in my opinion.
  17. They start accepting apps for the Fall 2011 semester in February So excited to apply again. Can't wait to be in Florida for Horror Nights, BGA's amazing coaster collection, and of course DISNEY! -Zach
  18. Joey, your photos are awesome! Can't wait for more
  19. I like just sitting down and pulling down a lap bar. The only 'above average' standup experience I've had was on Georgia Scorcher; which was badass. Mantis, Vortex (Carowinds), King Cobra...all very whatever. Mantis has crushed my balls many a time. Even though I follow the directions in the station that's supposed to give you an enjoyable ride, I hardly get that experience.
  20. Going to bump this. Really excited for the Voyage to get these trains really soon! It was awesome to try them out and see the Gravity Group's office! -Zach
  21. This is looking great. But more importantly....shorter lines for ShockWave <3 Friggin' amazing ride.
  22. They're having a war around the coaster? What are they shooting at? Booooring. Cat puts the bunny hat by a laaaandslide. By the way I hope the SFMM visit was just a bad day....I remember when I first joined the site how bad of shape the park was in, and the recent report really took me back to when I first started posting. It's gone up hill a lot, hopefully it's not slipping again! -Zach
  23. That's funny you say you have had consistant rides on Raptor, but I haven't! Some times I feel like it's not aging too well, then other visits the ride hauls ass and moves into my top 10! I'll ride it all different times of the day, full train or 1/4 full...ranging from amazing to meh. But I have felt this is FOR SURE a front seat ride (as with most B&M inverts) and that's where I get the most consistancy. It's been great the past few seasons, but '06-'08...I forget it existed!
  24. I found seven ducks. Awesome photos Big Mike! Glad to see you're back in the game
