  1. Ok, I just read on Gamespot.com that they're going to make a third Sonic The Hedgehog game for the Wii. Ok, that's not so bad. The current working title is Sonic and the Black Knight. The description of the game was that "For his third Wii game, Sonic is transported to an Arthurian-inspired fantasy realm, where he must engage in sword-based combat." Wait a second... "Sword-based combat"?! For a series dedicated to speed and intensity, this deserves a big WTF.
  2. Great TR so far, Odie! As a big fan of that park, I completely agree with your opinions on the coasters. I'd never been on Tony Hawk's Big Spin before, is it really that bad? Keep up the good work! --Eric (Why don't I EVER take pictures?) B.
  3. I only have 26 coasters on my list, I'm sad... The only milestone that I can recall was my 25th, which was X2 at Six Flags Magic Mountain. And let me just say, riding it at night is really something else. That fire... Holy crap. Unfortunately, this ride was really rough, maybe it was just because I had an outside seat next to a quite larger man.
  4. I guess I should update my list since going to SFMM... 1. Tatsu (SFMM) 2. Goliath (SFMM) 3. Space Mountain (DLR) 4. Riddler's Revenge (SFMM) 5. V2: Vertical Velocity (SFDK) 6. Medusa (SFDK) 7. Giant Dipper (SCBB) 8. California Screamin' (DCA) 9. Colossus (SFMM) 10. Thunder Mountain Railroad (DLR) This is the best I could do. It's still way off, though.
  5. Since I haven't really been to that many parks, my queue knowledge is pretty limited, but oh well... Some of my favorite queues have to be Space Mountain at DLR, Batman: The Ride, Riddler's Revenge, and X2 just because of the videos they show, all at SFMM. The worst queues I've been in are Kong at SFDK, simply because it's boring and has a sign that says "Definitely Worth the Wait". Yeah, NO. Another is Tatsu at SFMM, it's just boring, and doesn't give you that great of a view of the ride. The last one is Scream! at SFMM, again because it's boring with no theming whatsoever besides the banners.
  6. It's not really a coaster, but I guess this counts... At SFDK, I went last time on a field trip in 7th grade. So me and my friends decided to go on Hammerhead Shark, which ironically has automatically-lowering restraints. And they go down a set amount, it seems... Which was way too far for even middle schoolers. We were all in pain, and all of a sudden, CLICK! The restraints went down just one more notch on every seat. You could hear the "Aaaauuuugh..." from all the guys in unison throughout the ride.
  7. I was really surprised last Wednesday when I got on Goliath during my first trip to SFMM in 45 minutes. I expected it to be a couple hours, the line was nearly all the way to the the giant "I"! Oh, and Viper, at the same park. I waited half an hour for that ride. Still not worth it. I can't imagine people waiting more than I did for that...
  8. Hancock Personally, I thought this movie was brilliant. Not as good as, say, Batman Begins or Wall-E, but it was a great movie. It's funny, has great action, and Will Smith does an amazing job as the title character. In my opinion, the length was just right at 90 minutes, like what movies used to be... nevermind. I like the movie, but I can understand why some critics didn't like the twists and feel towards the end of the movie, which in my opinion, were kind of abrupt and strange. It was good, but not great. I recommend it though, but it's definitely not suitable for children. RATING: 8/10
  9. Crap. Double post. Broke my streak.
  10. Ugh. Yesterday (today) I spent the night at my friend's house, for his birthday. I thought it would just be us and a couple of other cool people hanging around playing video games, until one person showed up that I did not expect: Kendall. He was the bassist in my old band, and he's a huge moron. He spent the entire night playing Call Of Duty 4 or complaining to everybody. And whenever we were going to watch a movie, before everybody else got their say, he would walk up to the DVD rack and choose some dumb R-rated bloodfest, or some dumb movie like Dead Or Alive. Yeah. That's the one thing that made last night suck. It could have been better, after all, we saw Hancock! (Which was awesome!)
  11. ^ Nice, I used to play Alto saxophone back in elementary school. But I decided to stop because I never practiced and it doesn't really sound that good to a 4th grader's ear.
  12. ^ Aw, QUADRUPLE POST! That has to be a new record! Batman Begins I know it's lame, but I just saw this movie for the first time a couple weeks ago. And it's amazing, but my biggest problem is that it doesn't explain everything that happens. For example, I didn't exactly catch just why Bruce became Batman. It might be obvious, but for some reason I couldn't catch it. And the end, to me, was just kinda 'meh'. It's still the best movie I've seen in a long time though. It keeps a great, steady-moving story, has great action, and I think it was amazing. OVERALL SCORE: 9 / 10 --Eric (Scarecrow is freakin' terrifying!) B.
  13. I just got back from Hume Lake's Meadow Ranch camp, which was absolutely amazing. But one thing that sucked about it was the people they put in my cabin. Only two out of 7 people were at all cool. I'm going to list the reasons. Why? Because I need to vent. Connor: He's just plain annoying. A typical annoying person. Hunter: Pretty much a grade-A dork. He never gets jokes or sarcasm, and he always corrects people when they do anything out of perfection. And he has is own custom DVD website, which is extra freaky because he's just now going into 7th grade. I'm dead serious. Ben T: The other 8th grader in the cabin. To sum him up in one sentence, it's easy. He doesn't say crap or anything like that, when he's mad or something, he says "Poopyface". No joke. 8th grade. Otherwise, besides the DVD thing, he's the same as Hunter. Ben F: Too sarcastic. Not that bad, but it gets annoying really fast. Andres: Aw man, here's the real crap. A 7th grader that weighs 180 pounds. Not that I have anything against fatties, but the problem is he likes to walk around the cabin shirtless. And he thinks I'm his best friend, so he follows me around and talks about stupid things like Stumpy, who is a character in a scary story based around Hume Lake. Like, he asks things like "What does he eat?" "What does he do for fun?" "Why doesn't he just make friends with the campers instead of killing them?". Yeah. And he's stupid, like he spelled "feet" wrong in this sign he made. As in "Wash Your Feat". BONUS IDIOT! Mermon: Just the name alone scares me. He has this weird look in his eyes, like one is wide open and one is squinting. Always. And I don't even know him, yet he follows me around and acts like my best friend like Andres.
  14. DUDE. I just got back from there today. Are you going to Ponderosa, or what? Anyway, speaking of Hume Lake, it was the greatest week of my life. The speaker was amazing, the recreation was great, and there's 4 hours of free time EVERY DAY! The team I was on was Robocow, and we actually jumped 10 places on the last day into 5th place, and the Robos beat the Bots in the final run this week.
  15. I bet I'm the only one that would notice this, but... OMG! B-15 is LUCY! Oh, right... this is me!
  16. I've recently got into The World Ends With You for the Nintendo DS, the game is absolutely fantastic. I'm currently on the second week, third day. It's the one where Joshua tricks you into thinking the mission was to get to Cat Street in 15 minutes, but it's the thing with the ramen. If you have a DS, GET THE GAME. It's incredible.
  17. Ramen = Epitome of Awesomeness And it's the only meal that I can really cook.
  18. Finally... I've finally learned how to do the MOONWALK!
  19. ^ That's definitely the best Wii game I've ever played. Awesome game, met all my expectations. On another note, I'm currently renting Boom Blox. It's pretty great, but in my opinion, too short. There are two (well, maybe 4 because there are also 'challenge' levels for these) types of single-player, Adventure and Explore. Adventure is the standard story mode, which can get painfully hard towards the end. Explore is just a bunch of random stages sorted so each in a set uses a specific new item, like the Bomb or Vanish Block. These are also pretty tough, and can be very fun for a few afternoons. There is also multiplayer, which I've heard is amazing but haven't tried... The worst thing about the game is that there really isn't that much to do. You passed the Explore mode, good job. You got stuck on an impossible stage in Adventure mode, okay. Then what do you do? There's a stage editor, but it's not that fun in my opinion. It's pretty difficult to make a cool stage that actually functions, and you can't really make any rules for it. You can make it multiplayer too, but I just can't figure it out. I recommend this game, but I really don't think it deserves the A+ that 1up.com gave it.
  20. Scatman John. 'Nuff said.
  21. I just got back from Golfland Sunsplash in Roseville. It was AWESOME! I brought my friend Jezelle with me, which made it even better. I was able to get on every water slide except Revolution, a basic bowl slide, and Thunder Falls, a 4-person triple drop slide. I even went on Vortex, a body bowl slide. AWESOME.
  22. Shirt: Black with mosic-ish guitars spread around Pants: Green plaid shorts Socks: None Shoes: None Underwear: Red plaid Other: Guitar laying on my lap
  23. I'm listening to the hum of my computer because my iTunes isn't working right now.
  24. Aw, what the FRIGGIN' CRAP is wrong with people?! Avril Lavigne's video for 'Girlfriend' now has over 20,000 views more than the brilliant 'Evolution of Dance' on Youtube.com. And that is why Youtube.com needs to have something like when you post too many times and you need to enter the code thing, if you watch a video too many times in a row. I know there are AvrilBots that're just refreshing the video for hours.
  25. I know it's kind of creepy how I'm just staring at the camera, but it kinda snuck up on me and I just did that. But yeah, this is what I look like. Big head and poofy hair. This was taken about two months ago at my cousin's wedding...
