  1. 1. Dark Knight (Intense, surreal, amazing all around) 2. Wall-E (Best Pixar movie ever!) 3. Cloverfield (First real freaky movie for me!) 4. Kung Fu Panda (Excellent family movie) 5. Hancock (Hilarious, not for children! ) Not including Indy 4 and Prince Caspian, that's all the movies I've seen from this year. Seriously.
  2. I totally agree with Kalepi_Konei. The song is pretty great so far, very complex! But the deep voice during the verse is very overpowering and distracting, you should definitely lower the volume on it. But it does add to the song, so I wouldn't completely remove it. I definitely think this is the best version of the song so far, though! I would also buy this off of iTunes if I could. Great job! --Eric
  3. That's what I thought when I was watching The Lost World. I've read both of the Jurassic Park books, and they were incredible. The first movie was excellent, and stayed very true to the book. The second... Where should I start? It was boring, had SO much that wasn't in the book (like the whole rampage through the city thing), but at least it had the opening scene straight out of the first book. The third movie was actually pretty good to me, but still nothing compared to the original. Who cares about believability, was Star Wars believable? No. Was it good? Yes! JPIII was entertaining to me, but definitely not in my top 10. So overall, I'm so-so about them not making a fourth movie. It could have ruined the series again like you guys are saying, but who knows, it could be another gem in my eyes like III.
  4. It might just be my computer, but TPR TV is running incredibly slow right now. As in I turn to a video, click play, pause and then wait five full minutes, play the video, then it stops to load some more at 19 seconds. It might just be because I have The Sims 2 on my computer. I hear that makes internet run incredibly slow.
  5. Honking Antelope -- Serj Tankian Excellent song. Great message to it.
  6. I just discovered that the singer and rhythm guitarist of System of a Down, Serj Tankian, is doing a solo thing. And he is incredible. He does every instrument by himself, and his songs really have great meaning. Like "Honking Antelope", it's about how humans are corrupting the world and how nature will thrive without us. Watch the video, it's really incredible.
  7. Dang, those trains DO look good, though. This coaster could have so much more potential. It's just a launch. Then a turn. Then another turn. Then a drop. Then it's over. LAME. Look at other launched coasters. I'm not talking about TTD and Kingda Ka, but like California Screamin'. It's launched at only 55 mph, yet it can go through that entire ride with only one drop afterwards. If they could do something like that, just taller and faster, it would be absolutely incredible.
  8. I'm currently taking Coasterdude5's advice and reading And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. It's a very good book so far, but it's pretty slow. The entire first 20 pages to me was a snore-fest, but after that it started to get good.
  9. I agree with Manny In England, it just seems to blend better in the original version. In the newest one, the vocals just kind of seem out there, like they were just added in for filler. Great job, though.
  10. Yeah. I'm obsessed with Shadow of the Colossus. Just look at this. You're already wanting to play, huh? This is the third colossus from the game. The THIRD FREAKIN' ENEMY you fight in the entire game. Yeah. It's intense.
  11. Because everything on this planet has to have a certain level of "suck". Why do I suck so much at FPS games?
  12. Today, I finally got Shadow of the Colossus from Gamefly. It's an amazing game, so far. I've only beaten two colossi, but I have a pretty good idea of the game. The controls aren't that great, especially on the horse, which steers uncannily like a tank. And also, the camera does tend to swing out constantly, but it's not that much of a problem, as you can move it or focus solely on the colossus. Oh, for you guys that don't know what the game is, you just ride around and defeat 16 giant colossi, which range from the size of a house to having their own zip co-- actally, more like five zip codes. Each is like a puzzle, with certain weak spots that you have to climb up to and stab. It's a great game, but the controls do make a bit of a shortcoming. But so far, that's no reason to not pick up this game. If you have a PS2, buy this game. Or at least rent it.
  13. This is the part where I would say that the Trans-Siberian Orchestra tour this year was the most incredible show I've ever seen. But I didn't go to it. That's just info from my friend who went to it. --Eric (TSO = Awesomeness) B.
  14. Dude. My band is probably gonna do "Stacy's Mom" by Fountains of Wayne at the battle of the bands this year. That's freakin' awesome.
  15. ^ Things just tend to happen that way. Believe me. I don't understand this whole "Youtube Poop" thing. People get hundreds of thousands of views for copying and pasting and redubbing crappy Nintendo cartoons or editing them into other clips. They're not funny, get over it. It's almost as bad as playing the games the cartoons were from... --Eric (Hotel Mario, Wand of Gamelon, Faces of Evil, oh my!) B.
  16. Haha... I just remembered a joke! How many surrealists does it take to screw in a light bulb? FISH!
  17. Ticklish puppies bathed in orange juice without PULP!!! If you don't understand this, check out my latest post in the Youtube thread.
  18. In this redone version of "Creep" by Radiohead, I can't think of anything to say in response. Except... Enjoy. I didn't post the video on this site because the lyrics are in the description, it'll be hard to understand the song without them.
  19. I should bring this thread back up... Anybody watch Ninja Warrior? Well, on G4tv.com, I found the official flash game for it. It's pretty tough, but I've beaten it. It just takes a bunch of tries. Oh yeah! My high score is 336, try to beat that! Ninja Warrior Flash Game
  20. Any Way You Want It -- Journey This song is freakin' awesome. I can't explain why, just listen to it.
  21. I just finished watching the 1960 version of Little Shop Of Horrors on the Chiller channel. Let me just say that for a movie shot in 3 days with a $30,000 budget, this movie was pretty great. Cheesy, classic B-Movie material, but I enjoyed it a lot. Not quite as good as the remake, but still very... um... "interesting". Overall Score: 7/10
  22. ^ That was so awesome... Anyway, I think this video should be brought up again.
  23. That has to be the coolest thing I've seen all week.
  24. Hmm. Being a fan of natural cola, I might have to give this a try. Besides, I have never tried a Red Bull, so this might get me onto that.
