Red RipStik from Target $77.98
-
Today I bought and learned how to ride a RipStik. It's one of those two-wheeled skateboard things where the wheels swivel and the two footboards shift a bit when you lean. It's hard, but really fun.

And then there's the 'gangsta' kids who wear shorts to their ankles, a shirt with a gangster Mario on it, and a pink Hello Kitty backpack. Do they really expect to be taken seriously?

I need to do my homewo-- Oh! Wait! It's due Wednesday! -
For some reason, this video cracks me up so much. And you might want to turn your volume all the way up, it's not a screamer. I promise. Pinky swear. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O95NIalvdtE&feature=related

People Jumping the Line / Queue
onewheeled999 replied to aldredd's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I can only think of one line-jumping occasion that made me angry. I was at SFMM for my first time, and I was in line for Tatsu at about 9:00, so the line was pretty dead. It was just at the entrance, but the switchbacks were chained off. So I was about halfway past the switchbacks, on the path next to them, when suddenly a group of about 3 ran though the switchbacks and jumped about halfway through the line. I didn't do anything because I was still shaking from my first ride on X2 at night, and I didn't want to deal with them. -

In the play I have to do in theatre class, I have to be a fish. A painting, vegetarian pirhanna, to be exact. And Antoinette has to be a doctor. Named Stephanie Eggfoot. This is not a joke. -
This is the famous movie poster of my new favorite movie, Poltergeist.

I just saw Poltergeist, finally. Holy crap. That movie is freakin' amazing. It's not as scary as I expected, but there were definitely some scary parts, like the beast coming from the kids' room. The story was great, but moved kinda slow at times, especially when that old woman (I can't remember her name) who tracked the ghosts came in. The acting was incredible, especially Mary Anne, who pulled off her scenes in a terrifying way. I recommend this movie to anyone looking for a good old-school horror flick. SCORE: 10/10

Finally.... I finally rented Poltergeist. But I haven't seen it yet, I'm waiting for a night where I have already done my homework. Honestly, I've never watched a scary movie in my life. Ever. So can someone tell me about how scary this movie really is?

I've gotten back into The World Ends With You for DS, it's amazing. I think my max level is around 65 or 70, I haven't checked in a while. Like my avatar, I also play N+ for DS. I love it, even if it's insanely hard. I'm on I think episode 47, the second one of the Atari Bonus levels. I can't get past the last level of that one. Portal: Beat it. Love it. Can't beat any of the challenge levels.

I think one of my biggest fears is going through life without any significance, just another person into the grave. Along with that, I'm also terrified of spiders, except those tiny millimeter-long spiders, I love those things. It's just those hairy wolf spiders... Bwaah!

Actually, I used that for most of my information. But some things, I had to really do some research to find. And I just got this project back today, it's a 95%!

There is nothing to say about this next video. It will probably scar you for life, or maybe have you cracking up for the next week. Either way, enjoy. By the way, this WAS on a children's TV show.

I just found the most amazing song. The lyrics are just beautiful, they just make me think so much. And it has a catchy beat, so what's not to like? Here are the lyrics! --Eric -
This is probably the funniest clip I've seen from Family Guy:

Whats The Weather Like Where You Live?
onewheeled999 replied to RtherBOnACoaster's topic in Random, Random, Random
Weather in Sacramento is crap. It's pretty warm, probably about 75 or 80 degrees, but there's been this horrible wind for a week that's dropped it down to like 50. If it were raining, it would be so much better. -

Yesterday I went to San Fransisco. It was awesome. But we didn't actually do anything there, we just visited my uncle and aunt in the Castro District. It you guys don't know, that's the gay part of the city. As in they have a huge rainbow flag over the highway. It's awesome. But we were really there to see a huge ship my grandpa sailed back in World War 2, and it was pretty freakin' boring. But at least I got to type on an old-time typewriter! -
I flickin' hate this social science project I have to do. I have to find information on all of President Bush's cabinets, from the Department of Agriculture to the Department of Veteran's Affairs. It's just really boring, monotonous work. And it's supposed to be made into a post that's due THIS MONDAY. Crap, I've still got a lot of work to do...

^ Man, that's a great song... Still Alive -- GLaDOS & Jonathon Coulton Man, I love this song. I can't believe it's on iTunes! I actually just downloaded the demo for Portal yesterday, it's awesome...

I can't believe it. I'm actually getting an A in Geometry. And it's EASY.

Ok, my friend was starting to piss me off this week. I brought up the topic of sexual orientation from remembering this thread, and he was just like "I hate gay people. One time I saw a dude wearing makeup, a bra and panties with a sign that said 'I'm Gay' and winked at me!" Yeah, those aren't his EXACT words, but it was something along those lines. I have nothing whatsoever against people that are gay, but apparently some people aren't so sensitive. I just can't stand it.

The Bad Touch -- Bloodhound Gang Wow. Just wow. I have nothing to say about this song.

Every time I hear the phrase "government spending" I think of a bunch of suit-wearing, bodyguard CIA agents prancing through a shopping mall with a bunch of bags like preteen girls the first time they're let loose in a mall. I don't know.
