So Obama's having a speech directed squarely toward students tomorrow at 9. We were told that every classroom at Sheldon would be tuning into it. And they sent around a form for parents to sign in case they want their student to not watch it for some stupid reason. He's our president, people, it's not like you can just ignore everything he says for four years. And apparently some parents have actually filled them out and turned them in, which just baffles me.

I have all my easy classes right now, which is ok, but that means I'll be working like crazy the second half of the year. Theater, Animation, Health and English? Now. Algebra 2, Honors Bio, Spanish 1, and PE? Later.

I love animation class.

Oh my gosh. Perks of Being a Wallflower is AMAZING. It's really kind of disturbing at times, and it goes into an awkward level of detail, but the writing style is just so hypnotizing. He writes exactly like a fifteen year old.

Got Tomb Raider: Anniversary from Gamefly the other day. Seems like a pretty good game, I'm just terrible at it. The T-Rex boss fight is pretty epic though, and the game is just overall satisfying.

I'm getting kind of scared how I haven't lost a single fight out of 10 on Mobsters 2 on Facebook.

Now I'm REALLY mad I didn't go to this. That looked like an awesome trip, great photos as always, Robb.

Finally bought Battlefield 1943 and Marvel vs Capcom 2. They're both great games. But with MvC2, I suck very, very badly. As in I can't get past the third round of Arcade mode on easy. So if anybody wants to play a few rounds just to give me some tips or help, please mention it.

So my school was one of the 10 middle/high schools in the state to win a free presentation called Teen Truth Live. It's about school violence and bullying, and it was really disturbing. They had surveillance footage from the Columbine shooting, along with a 911 call also from it. And throughout it, a few people next to me were laughing. LAUGHING. What's wrong with this world.

Beast and the Harlot (Live in the LBC) -- Avenged Sevenfold I really need to see these guys in concert sometime in my life.

Got Battlefield 1943 earlier today, along with Marvel vs Capcom 2. Battlefield is excellent in my eyes, the fights are intense and the tides can turn so quickly. A lot of fun. Marvel vs Capcom 2 is a bit more tough. I've never really gotten into a fighting game before. (besides Brawl, but I don't really count that) I suck so bad at it right now, I lost to the computer on Arcade mode on EASY.

I just saw Peggle: Dual Shot for Nintendo DS at Target for $4.99. It came out this year, if I'm correct. It's the absolute cheapest game I saw there.

A small strawberry smoothie at Jamba Juice. About three bucks. Really watered down tasting, pretty nasty.

I just realized that Poison, one of my favorite songs by EndeverafteR, is about drugs and getting high. Well now I regret playing it at church when I worked tech.

I'm thinking of starting The Perks of Being a Wallflower, but my sister won't let me read her copy because she wrote all over it. I guess I'll just read the Uglies series again. Anybody else a fan of those?

Gotten back into Mass Effect. Seriously amazing game, buy it if you like RPGs. I realized that I was almost done with the single-player, as in i just beat Noveria, so I started doing some side missions.

Tried the Batman: Arkham Asylum demo yesterday on Xbox 360. I think we have a winner, folks!
