So this Saturday marks one month with my girlfriend. We were talking about what we should do, and she came up with the idea of it being a surprise for her. So I have to come up with an idea for a surprise date very, very soon. Do you guys have any ideas? Like, just general things that work well for dates?

Apparently he was crippled and left up there as a joke. Then he disappeared. And then other people started disappearing. -

Brent, if you read this, you know what I'm talking about. At the summer camp I go to every year, Hume Lake Christian Camps, there's a huge legend about a guy with no legs who hangs out in the trees and murders people with an axe. Sounds stupid, yes, but if you tell it right, it's absolutely horrifying. Especially when you hear it for the first time, at night, when it's your first time at the camp. Then you're just petrified. -
Plants vs Zombies is freaking amazing. Pretty much the best thing you can get for three bucks.

Quoted for truth, that movie was great. But you forgot to mention Dr. Facilier, who is pretty much the greatest Disney villian since Maleficent.

Team Fortress 2 is awesome. I have it for 360, since it's part of The Orange Box, even though its way different from the PC version. See, ever since its release, the PC version of TF2 has been getting updates, new maps, modes, mods, weapons, hats, and a bunch of other stuff, while the console versions have been left alone. They're supposedly working on an update for those versions, but it probably won't be here for a while. But I recommend it. It's a lot of fun.

So I finally got around to buying Modern Warfare 2 today. And now I'm kicking myself for not getting it before, cuz it's pretty freaking amazing. Just today, I've played from the beginning of the campaign to "Wolverines!", and got to level 8 online. And three total stars on Spec Ops, because I suck at that. But yeah, I've been loving every minute of the game, except the first Rio De Janeiro mission. That just sucked.

So, today I had my first date with Alex. And it went awesome. We went to see Princess and the Frog, and then ate at Mikuni's in the same shopping center. There wasn't nearly as much awkward silence as I expected, so that's a really good thing. I think this could turn out to be a good relationship.

I asked Alexandra out, and she said yes.

I cant believe it... She said yes.

I can't decide if Sherlock Holmes was an awesome, smart action movie or one of the most cheesy, hilarious movies I've seen in a while. Either way, it was awesome and tons of fun. I recommend it.

I definitely second this. Canabalt is crazy hard and addicting, and its totally worth the three dollars. Oh, and im one of the people you mentioned. Three times your score, actually, almost 4.

Holy effing crap. 15,000 meters in Canabalt on my iTouch. #27 worldwide high score today.

Well, after the most awkward moment of my life, Ali said no on Wednesday. Oh well, I tried. I did realize all the mistakes I made, and have learned a lot about what not to do. So it wasn't completely worthless.

Monk really does have pretty much the best theme song ever. -

I asked her out on December 30th. She said she'd think about it. It's now January 10th, and I haven't received an answer. I have a bad feeling about this.

I finally got around to seeing Avatar in 3D today. All I can say is, WOW. Excellent animation and effects, the 3D was incredible, the characters were likeable (especially Trudy, she was awesome), and the action was just amazing. If you haven't seen it, you're missing one of my new favorite movies ever. 10/10 Even my mom said it was the best movie she'd ever seen. Though this might be because this was her first modern 3D movie, I dunno.

How did you end up here???
onewheeled999 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I don't think I've posted in here yet... It was several years back, I was on Google looking up roller coasters. I remember finding the video "Things Not to do on a Coaster", and finding it hilarious being a 10-or-so year old. So I hung around the site for a year or two, looking at every trip report and video, checking every update posted. I finally joined about 3 years ago. Love the site, so happy I found it. -
I ended up having to cheat, I just looked at the IGN guide. And I figured out what I needed to do in one sentence. Like I said, it wasn't flipping the turtle over, it was climbing on top of him that I was having trouble with. But it showed me a good path and i killed him.

Tonight was indeed a good night for Mystery Google. I met two awesome girls, both my age. One was mentioned in a previous post, and the other lives in Nashville, Tennessee. Funny how you can get pretty lucky and find some awesome people with that funny little website. -

Haha, I never would've guessed that there'd be two posts about The Oatmeal on the same page on this site! Anyway, I actually met a pretty cool person on Mystery Google. She's a green-haired 14 year old from London named Jenna. And she's the only person I've ever met that knows who EndeverafteR is! -
So I finally own Shadow of the Colossus for PS2. Around a year ago, I rented the game from Gamefly and got to the 8th or so colossus, then sent it back. Now I'm past that, and am completely stuck on the 9th. It's the turtle one, if anybody's played the game. I know how to flip it over and I know where his vitals are, but I just can't climb his belly. I've been working on it for around an hour, and haven't gotten any farther than my first try. But anyway, the game's awesome. There's nothing more satisfying than seeing the more difficult colossi fall to the ground, but at the same time there's nothing more emotional. I heartily recommend the game to anybody that wants something that's different from other games right now.

I could take on 27 baboons in a fight, armed only with a giant dildo.
