Records and talent don't matter when it comes to a Browns/Pittsburgh matchup. It is a rivalry that pits two similar towns with similar makeups together. That is what makes it special. It isn't about beating a weak team .... it is about beating Cleveland.

From time to time, I get lucky enough to score some Steelers tickets. Most of the time it is a little warmer than this, but I am not one to pass them up. Enjoy. Nope. If Conneaut can turn the corner (which they are making progress towards), I think that it can still be a successful park. The lake is a destination without the park and if some more development occurs, it could get that "getaway" feel that it used to have. Only a series of some of the worst business decisions and management selections are responsible for the condition the park is currently in. The biggest obstacle is going to be to remain relevant in an area where Waldameer is kicking your ass. While Conneaut has been on life support, Waldameer has been growing at an incredible clip.

Villian was absolutely horrible when I rode it last summer. I might consider giving it another shot with the retracking, but I would have never rode it again otherwise. // the only good technique I have found for riding in a g-train is to sit on a bench watching some other poor soul ride instead

In my mind, the jury is still out on Thor. While they keep mentioning "amusements", they also want to rezone the area residential. If I wasn't so optimistic, i would say that it sounds like a bait and switch.

Thank you both for your excellent recommendations. I looked at CruiseCritic and it is excellent! There are a ton of reviews right there from seasoned travelers. If anyone else has been on any of these ships please chime in! i would love to hear your opinions. Also, I would be interested in also knowing some "tips" from seasoned cruisers. You know ... what kind of expenses to expect ... good excursions ... etc.

Catrina and I have been playing with the notion of adding a short cruise onto our honeymoon in May. Since neither of us have ever been, we are pretty clueless about how this all operates and would appreciate any help we can get. To my knowledge, only 3 boats do 3-4 night cruises from Port Canaveral to the Bahamas. Has anyone had any experiences with any of the boats that they would like to share?
