  1. ^ Couldn't agree more. If the belt is fastened ... then the belt is fastened. While some will think that big people have no place on rides, the restrictions on MF are rediculous. I have seen people denied on that ride that didn't very big at all and the worse thing is that no two belts are the same size. That means someone could have rode the thing 3 times already and get denied on the 4th. It just seems a little rediculous after waiting 90+ minutes. // Not a very big guy and has never been denied a ride on anything (except kiddie coasters).
  2. I do that now and the pay sucks Actually, it usually cost me a bunch of money.
  3. It was an option in the "Personal Profile". I switched it over so it now it probably won't take me a week to notice new messages
  4. ^ If Disney posted it at the park or added it to their calendar they WOULD be seen as promoting it.
  5. I don't know if this board has the option, but some of them have an option that will popup a window when you have a new PM. That would be helpful if it is available.
  6. ^ Just use a plastic bag, a little bit of electric tape and your imagination. I am sure you will come up with something. // managed to get my camera out of Epcot bone-dry on Monday. My shoes, shirt, socks, underwear, and hair were a different story all together.
  7. ^ I don't know but you did it too Actually, it looks like something has gone haywire with the email component. Obviously the original poster has it set to email him with replies but something is going wrong when it tries to send the message. When the "double-poster" replies, he sees the error and then refreshes the page (very bad). This, in return, processes the form again and results in a double post. Hope this helps. // "I'm gonna go get the papers get the papers"
  8. Favorite Steel: Millennium Force Phantom's Revenge Favorite Wood: Tsunami Thunderhead // What is the difference between this thread and the "Rate the Best Steel, Wood, Water Slides, Food, and Fun" one? 2 New "Best" Topics and 1 Reply. Slow down buddy.
  9. Best: ET - Universal Florida (Suprised nobody mentioned it) Worst: MaXair - Cedar Point (It holds something like 2 cycles worth of people. Can't wait to see this thing spill out all over the place)
  10. I though it was pretty good and much more tolerable than half of the beverages they offer there. Smart Watermelon and "The Lemon Stuff" are probably my favorites. // I won't mention the Fanta drink as I don't want to get that song stuck in Kip's head again. Whoops ..... too late.
  11. I see a lot of this kind of stuff being sold in mall kiosks in my area. They change little things and hawk a game system that boasts over 40-50 games including some memorable titles as "Super Hector Bros." // Waiting for the kiosk to start carrying "Medallion of Honour II"
  12. ^ I've had that. You can sample it at Epcot right next to the infamous Beverly.
  13. Great TR! I love looking at TRs that are of the "whole experience" and not a bunch of coasters. Looks like you guys had a great time on your trip.
  14. Pure Uncut Columbian Coke Well, at least it is closer to the "original coke"
  15. By "wildcat coaster thing" are you referring to what may be the best spinning coaster in the US. Waldameer is an excellent park with one of the greatest dark rides out there (wacky shack). Just the mention of it makes me wish I was on it. That schedule is absolute insanity, but you are a pretty seasoned vet, so I am sure you know what you are getting yourself into. // Primanti's rules!
  16. Knoebels may very well be the best traditional amusement park in the world, and Twister and the Phoenix are both world class. The Twister is a little more physically demanding but nothing compared to a lot of the other woodies out there. Don't forget the Flyer. It is the best ride in the whole damn park ... period!
  17. We didn't really have much of a problem with the Extra Magic Hour and managed to get pretty good times for our Test Track fast passes before heading into an empty World Showcase. The dinner at Japan was EXCELLENT. I would highly recommend the Steakhouse to anyone visiting Epcot. // the shoes are almost dry .... almost
  18. I am done with speed slides. I have been for about 17 years. Rode the big ass one at Adventure Island (Tampa) and my swimsuit completely disappeared. Who knew that you could fit an entire swimsuit in your rectum. // damn near killed em'
  19. This is the beautiful thing about capitalism. If you don't provide a valued product or service ... you are history. Money talks .... preservation walks.
  20. Kennywood will be about the same very day for the next two weeks or so, then the weekdays will be a little less crowded than the weekends. With that said, it is a pretty rare occasion when Kennywood is so crowded that it is unmanagable. Look for the longest waits to be for Exterminator and Garfield's Nightmare. My best advice is to hit the Exterminator early and nightmare late. If you go on the weekend, drop me a line. Would love to meet up. I am about 45 minutes away.
  21. I understand that the Raven tends to be a little over-rated (mostly due to some it's lackluster day rides), but to rank it under the PKI Racer almost seems sacreligous. Good trip report though. I share most of your feelings on SFKK, except I am not much of a Chang fan. If I remember correctly Thunder Run predates both hurlers and was constructed by Dinn / designed by Summers. Pretty sure someone else did the Hurler.
  22. ^ too late. // Ranks fudging parental unit's orafices right below a visit to Uncle Bernie's amusement park.
