Wow, who turned down that 50 mill for park improvements? Please, somebody kick their ass for me, could you imagine what they could have been with that? You're in debt, and turn down money because it's "too much"?! Makes no sense. Thats all I caught, and I'm in awe because of that....

They never said it was brand new, just new to the park. They always mentioned it was refurbished, they even had pictures of it in its prior condition (rusty and old)

I thought this deserved it's own topic since the others were about the golf course and Flying Turns (and some of their past sites were pretty bad, this ones actually really nice), if it doesn't its alright. Knoebels launched their new site design today after being closed a couple months. Some of the pages aren't completely finished, but overall the site looks much better then any previous sites (especially that last one) Also, it lists not just rides, but attractions, and Three Ponds is one of them. I'm just glad they finally got a site that really shows who they are, some of the past ones weren't so great at all. www.Knoebels.com

nah, its PS3's fault for just being in the way...

When I say I see Wiis, I mean 1,2, or 3 at a time. Take for example yesterday I walked into my local Gamestop and saw 3 Wiis there, and they said they had more but sold some through the day. There was a decent sized tower of 13 PS3s sitting in the middle of the floor with a sign "we're in stock too!!" written on it. I asked how they have been, he said they have been sitting there all day and most of yesterday. The most action they saw all day was someone tripping over them, ironically on their way to the counter to buy a Wii.

I've seen Wiis here and there around here, too bad I can't ship one out to people in need.

Nice TR (been said many times I know). Its funny how when its cold out, and people are still "courageous enough" to go on water rides, but whats worse is they ALWAYS cover themselves with their hoodie/ sweatshirt/ jacket. That would make it so much worse. Would you rather be able to dry yourself off after getting a bit wet, or have a soaked frozen shirt on you? lol.

I was something similar to one of these a long while ago, but it was much older and smaller. What a horrible way to die, and I agree she shouldn't have gotten up as the lap bars were coming down. It's a shame the employees couldn't catch her before starting the ride as well.

I just caught up on updating my Firefox browser if you misspell a word (in a type field) with the new Firefox, chances are you're not being very observant. Misspelled words (or some uncapitalized pronouns) are underlined in red the second after you type it (as well as unrecognized words such as "Knoebels"). You can correct your spelling, or right click and it brings up a small word bank of similar words, sort of like in Google's "did you mean..." It's pretty cool and can be very useful. Just thought I'd bring that up in case anyone else has noticed this or has not updated Firefox lately, and I find it semi-interesting.

yeah, Three Ponds. I'm wondering if they will keep the name or even tag "Knoebels" on the beginning, which would make sense. "Knoebels Three Ponds"

I saw that somewhere else, but theres no online source as of yet. They do plan on keeping it a golf course, just plan on incorporating it into the "resort" which I think is awesome. With the purchase of Lake Glory and now this, they seem to be upping the whole resort aspect, giving more to do aside from the Park itself.

nice job... I re-did part of my room on Christmas since I got a new TV stand which is an actual TV stand. My TV used to sit on a very old crappy lookin end table thing which had a cabinet which due to the weight of the TV had been unaccessable for quite some time. Inside I found 10 home-made labeled VHS tapes recorded fully with Scooby Doo cartoons (a couple full series and episodes from other series) as well as an episode guide jotted down on notebook paper. I also found $6, Ace Ventura Pet Detective (never knew I had that...) Xmas lights (used to decorate my room for Xmas) and a few packs of wrigly's gum... But yeah nice progress so far, good luck.

aww, I LOVED that show when i was little, I still catch it every now and that, thats a shame. I head recent rumors of a "honeymooners" type move made (all black cast) of the show, which, not being racist, just wouldn't work...

anything new about Fright Zone? just curious...
